Thread numero four-o.

A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement.

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

• Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day

• Thou shall not give advice to others when TTC for one month only

• Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways

• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month

• Thou shall not be offended by strong language

• Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams

• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

And most importantly...

• Thou shall not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if they do so.

@Milknosugar1 I'm a teacher so look after other people's kids. HT is usually nice and peaceful. The baby bomb was from my line manager who is also a friend who knows about my TTC struggles so I know she felt super bad about telling me but I am genuinely really happy for her.

I am so impressed at your POAS skills. Never even thought of using the packet so you can do it on the fox. Am defo trying this next month!

@milk this is genius! Was worried about using a disposable plastic cup (bad environmental credentials and all that) and this is perfect! Luckily we have a large cubicle at work so I’ll have plenty of space to try this out and practice getting minimal wee on my hand! 😂

@pina I know what you mean- I feel foolish for even having a pg test in my bathroom cupboard.

Possible 6dpo here. Cramping and faint nausea since ov, sleep deprived since second acupuncture session on Tuesday. Woke up today with scratchy throat and stuffy nose which is almost certainly due to it being half-term.

Another cycle out the window, I feel sure today. Going to try and be super-busy over this week to take my mind off it all. Af in the next week will signify exactly two years of trying. I never imagined I'd be in this position now, never in my wildest nightmares.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while. We have been TTC #1 since April with no whiff of a BFP (but many BFNs as I like to torture myself!) DH off to get SA next week while I wait for AF to arrive yet again. This thread has helped me through the last few months and the many baby bombs so thought I should say hi properly!

No idea, Biscay, I don't use the app. On my phone browser there are three doors at the bottom of each post - I click on that and one of the options is 'pm'.

Hi @bama4, yep AF due here tomorrow and got a BFN this morning so I'm out. Sadly I also have very long cycles c.50 days so it feels like ages before we will get another chance
