A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement.

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

• Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day

• Thou shall not give advice to others when TTC for one month only

• Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways

• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month

• Thou shall not be offended by strong language

• Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams

• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

And most importantly...

• Thou shall not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if they do so.

No, June, not since Sunday. DH says take another but I don't think I want to see another neg. I'm having the faintest of faint cramps, have been for the past day or two so I feel af is just around the corner.

Af isn’t going to come today which means I mustn’t have ovulated on the day I thought I did. In which case, it’s possible I ov’d on the Monday after and if I did, it means my cycle is 28 days again this month which would be a relief. My boobs aren’t hurting as much now (thank god) but it does mean af isn’t far off. Only had that one little bit of pink cm earlier and nothing since so not sure what that was as I never get pink, only brown. I’m just interested to find out when I actually ovulated last month tbh!

Completely understand not wanting to see another negative @sooz but there is always the chance of it being a bfp. I always tell myself it’s got to happen at some point so you never know.

@bubble maybe the pink Cm was implantation bleeding.

I just can't bring myself to hope. I really can't. I just need af to turn up tomorrow now and I can get going on the next cycle. x

sooz that’s usually my mentality too. Annoyingly though, I know my next cycle is a bust already because I can’t ttc due to all my tests coming up. I honestly hate ttc, it’s the worst thing I’ve ever been through in my entire life and I’ve been through some shit. Hope af stays away from you for the right reason :)

Still hopeful for you too Sooz. Im in FW and dh just sleeps. Granted he's tired from work, but i can't make a baby on my own!!!

Well, it's 00.00 and officially AF due date. No sign yet. I'm kind of hoping that if she's going to show, she shows else I didn't ov when I thought! We dtd every other day until cd26 but then we missed four days. We dtd again on cd30 bit haven't done it since.

Also I’ve just had the tiniest bit of red when I just went for a wee. Like, a pinprick of it but still. Red means it’s over I guess. Boobs are still sore though so I’m guessing tomorrow or Monday for af to show up. Oh the joys. I’m hoping it’s tomorrow because I was so ill when af arrived last month and I don’t want to be in work feeling like crap!

Sorry to hear it's you, too, Bubble. Do you do anything nice to cheer yourself up? I'm thinking of booking a massage sometime and I'm going to get my hair coloured again. I'd like a plum/brown combo, something different.

Another kick in the ovaries today, bfn on an ic at 11dpo and a good friend dropped a baby bomb, to be fair she has struggled herself so I'm pleased for her but still sucks!

Sooz I tend to do something I couldn’t do if I had a baby lol. So I’ll have a few drinks or I’ll go out for dinner or I’ll treat myself to something like clothes or make up etc. Whenever I realise I’m not pregnant, I try to take a bit of time to be thankful for the things I can do now because I don’t have to cart a baby everywhere with me or have to spend loads of money on nappies and formula, if that makes sense! Obviously it doesn’t stop the longing (would much rather be too tired from sleepless nights to go out for dinner or too poor from buying baby wipes in bulk) but it helps me a little bit. Be kind to yourself today, have lots of chocolate.

Urghh to baby bombs - my 23 year old cousin was last week and my colleague who has a 6 month old DS already was the week before. She likes to go on about how awful she feels and says things like "Just wait until you decide to have babies, Biscay."

On the plus side, I just spent a small fortune on a Clear Blue Advance Fertility Monitor. Anyone had any experience of these?

I don't, Biscay, but just before I got my bfp I was going to buy one. I decided to wait until I was in the next cycle, but then I got preggers! I think it's still in my Amazon basket! Now I've had the mc, I'm trying to chill so going by cm and just trying to dtd 2-3 times every week.

Hate baby bombs. I may have had one by stealth a couple of days ago; I was at a meeting and we were looking at dates for the next meeting and I unintentionally clocked a colleague's diary that had a big smiley face and the words "6 months!" under one of the dates. Of course, it could be anything, but now I'm paranoid she's hiding a baby bump under her baggy tops. Doesn't help that if she is 6-months preggers on that date then my due date would have been just after hers.

God, even the thought of baby bombs makes me want to burst out crying. Sorry for those of you who've had one recently :(
