Ladies, the old thread has now closed so I created a new one but can't post the link, hopefully you'll find it and we can continue.

Ooh Karigan please explain those two gadgets....
Orchid, hopefully you’ve covered your fertile period there. Fingers are tightly crossed for you. We find it tricky to dtd as much as we’d like with two young DC about as well! It’s not just their presence, they’re good sleepers, it’s just that life is so busy, often someone is poorly or someone is away, someone is very tired etc etc. I’m not complaining, I’m beyond blessed, but actually timing enough sex for baby #3 is hard lol.
Mattsmama- so sorry Af arrived. Always a difficult time. Try to look forward to the next cycle if you can.

MATTSMAMMA · 26/03/2018 22:25

LITTLEMIMOSA. - thanks Smile. That’s a problem with us too. Actually finding the time to DTD - Children are the best contraception!! Plus they’ll be on Easter break when next fertile time is so it’ll be even more difficult. We shall see what happens ! What is an Ava bracelet? I’ve never heard of these? I’m heading over to google now! x

Orchid222 · 26/03/2018 22:40

Thanks Mimosa I really hope I'll have one of those post HyCoSy success stories to tell soon though I do realise many women did not get pregnant afterwards so trying not to get my hopes up.
Ava bracelet sounds great, we talked about it a few months ago just a bit pricey. Though if I knew back then how much I'll be throwing on TCM I would've bought it the moment I read about it. Oh well.

I had a look after I saw your message karigan. I don't think tempdtop is available in the Uk, is it Australian? Ava sounds good but so pricey. Not sure if I could spend that much. I've ordered a thermometer and downloaded fertility friends. I'm only 10dpo but I know I'm out. I always start to get a painful back exactly the same date every month. Does anyone else get that?

Cleozeta · 27/03/2018 07:53

Never had a painful back.
14 dpo or 10 dpo for me today. Been feeling like af is coming since Saturday but still not here yet. Starting to think I am the 10dpo option. Would make more sense with the temps.
Ava bracelet sounds great, would love one of those. Wish I had more money!!

Orchid222 · 27/03/2018 08:07

I never had a painful back either. Cd20 for me and still no peak on opk despite of the doctor saying I'd ovulate on the weekend. I'm hoping my peak will come tomorrow like last month on cd21 if not it'll be the latest ovulation ever for me (after I broke the record last month).

Just been looking at the Ava bracelet and it looks interesting. I actually might invest. When I think about how much I’ve spent on reflexology, acupuncture and supplements it’s a LOT more than £200!

littlemimosa · 27/03/2018 08:15

No back pain either for me no. My pre AF signs are usually a couple of spots on my neck, crankiness and the sore progesterone boobs fading back to normal.

KeepingTheFaith9 · 27/03/2018 09:13

JoyJoy I get back pain prior to AF but at no other time, it’s one of the only symptoms I get. Orchid that sounds like a late ov, but if it happens then that would be just in time e for the BHW - so hopefully you can fit in some BD’ing. Little Mimosa SO true about the TCM etc and hundreds spent - AVA is a steal in comparison! Talking of which I only have 2 weeks of TCM herbs left now... gonna call it a day after 3 months... Funniest thing though - bear with me... when u was a child I had a wort on my finger and countless verucas - my mum always said if you can grow stuff like that easily it’s a sign you are Fertile - guess what? Today discovered a veruca on my foot!!!!!! Had to laugh!!! 😆Happy Tuesday dear fertility sisters! X

Karigan1 · 27/03/2018 10:25

Hey no I’ve been asking about them on a FAM site and in the process of googling myself to see if it’s worth it. I think it is but my phones Bluetooth has packed in so need to get that sorted first.

Sorry I could have sworn I found a temp drop in the uk! I’ll check my history as might have read it wrong

Cleozeta · 28/03/2018 07:14

Wtf...... I think I might have just got a bfp Shock

Orchid222 · 28/03/2018 07:44

Omg Cleo that's fantastic news! GO TCM! 😁

JoJoyorker · 28/03/2018 07:50

Oh wow Cleo!!!! When was your period due? Amazing!

littlemimosa · 28/03/2018 08:26

Omg post a picture!! Amazing news!

MATTSMAMMA · 28/03/2018 09:00

CLEO - woohooo!! GrinGrin excellent!!

Cleozeta · 28/03/2018 09:23

Really scared now!!! It's quite faint (but definitely there) I hope it is not a chemical. Going to call the dics today, see if I can get a progesterone test to make sure levels are high enough as my last progesterone test was low end of normal (28.4) so a bit worried about that. Funny isn't it how worry can quickly tranfer from one thing to another!! Trying not to get too excited as I know how high risk there is of miscarrage at my age, particularly with perimenopausal hormones

weasledee · 28/03/2018 09:29

Oh great news cleo!!!

MATTSMAMMA · 28/03/2018 10:19

CLEO - it’s a strange feeling when you get the BFP. The aim for so long is to get that elusive BFP and then when it’s there it conjures up a whole new set of emotions - a big mix of joy, anxiety, panic, excitement. Try and enjoy the moment (difficult I know) and take each day as it comes - wishing you all the luck the world xx. (And def get progesterone checked)

Cleozeta · 28/03/2018 10:36

Thanks, yeah definitely mixed emotions! Elation..... panic.... joy..... fear.... the lot.
Just tested again on my cbfm and it came up with the word 'pregnant'. So that's reassured me slightly for now! Although I did spend several minutes looking for the 'not' bit haha

Karigan1 · 28/03/2018 10:51

Congrats Cleo :)

Cleozeta · 28/03/2018 11:10

In case of interest - or if it can help anyone - things I did differently this cycle;

TCM (acupuncture and herbs)
Drank a lot less alcohol (thats unusual for me)
Did a bit more excersize (long walks and pilates)

Alongside the chinese herbs I was taking prenatals, vit B complex, ubiquinol, wheatgrass, royal jelly
DH was taking vit C

Now need to work out what to stop taking!

Orchid222 · 28/03/2018 11:46

Cleo in terms of the supplements you were taking them before right? So new things this months were TCM, exercise and less alcohol? And how did you time bd'ing?
I'm still waiting for a peak on my opk which is driving me nuts, it's the longest it's ever been I just keep getting highs and no peaks grrr I blame it all on TCM 😀

OP posts:
Cleozeta · 28/03/2018 12:05

B complex and wheatgrass were new for this cycle, but the rest I had been taking a while.

We bd the night before ov. And a few nights before that. (We can only do every other day)
I also used pre seed which was a new thing.

Good luck this cycle orchid. Just bd as much as you can! Fingers crossed for you.

Just spoke to the doctor, she wasn't keen on doing a progesterone test at first, saying it wouldn't tell me anything or help if the pregnancy is not viable. I talked her round in the end, but she looked at my notes and said "ah I see, you are im early menopause, you are lucky to get pregant". Errrr... the other dr didn't quite word it like that - brutal!

crivit · 28/03/2018 12:21

Woo! Congratulations Cleo I am now sending many sticky thoughts your way (that sounds a bit weird Hmm Grin)

I'm 11DPO today and have yet to POAS. I'd be rather proud of myself for waiting but I think it's just because I don't want to see a BFN Blush

And that is quite a blunt doctor you had there Shock

JoJoyorker · 28/03/2018 12:57

Cleo could you ask for a hcg blood test? I had one with dd. They did another 2 days later and if it doubles it means the pregnancy is viable.
