I have to say I'm fed up of this- we're using CBFM, softcups and preseed.

I don't know about anyone but me and DP are thoroughly fed up of having sex right now!! Although we're keeping it fun- to a degree. I wouldn't say we're dtd nearly enough this FW!

I just hope this one sticks, apparently it increases chances 40%. I'll take any percentage as I am an obsessed crazy childless 30 year old.

Age 33, TTC#1 cycle 2 post-Yasmin (half hearted December tbh) and CD12, have our work cut out this week (munching unpasteurised cheese while sipping a calvados🙈)

@MrsO28 worried about overthinking things too but I was v clueless (still am pretty much) & all this savvy advice/support prob outweighs my potential neurosis, for now! Has helped to manage expectations too. Trying to keep a balance I guess.

AF/BFP due 5/1 assuming a 28 day cycle but this is my first cycle post Mirena removal on 8th December after years of non-stop hormonal contraception, plus I have pretty severe endometriosis (had an op in October), so maybe I'm dreaming there

I can't help but symptom spot even though most of this could be a Mirena crash - my boobs have been comparatively huge and rock hard the past few weeks and very sore. Sorry TMI but in the last few days one of my nipples has basically split so much it looks like it's coming off and it's so painful but I'm worried that could be an infection I've been pretty nauseous too and had heartburn but I've been drinking and being driven a lot so it could be that. I'm so frustrated with this already and it's only my first shot!

@tinysnowbuddy. Ouch that sounds painful. I’m only on my second cycle and starting to get a bit frustrated as well! Think you just need to try and take one day at a time. I’m terrible for symptom spotting right now but very aware that it could be that AF is on the way . Took me a few months for my cycles to calm down as I came off bc in May. Still not 100% as they vary from 30-36 days so at least I have a rough indication as to when I should dtd and poas! Have you considered OPKs? They may help you get a better understanding as to when you ovulate

Hi @bubblybrit definitely think one day at a time is the way you're right! I'm a bit worried if it takes a while I'll end up wishing my life away in two week stints 30-36 sounds not too bad, like you say at least you've got a rough idea...it's when you hear of 50-100 day cycles I start to worry! I actually bought OPKs but didn't use them this month, I don't know why, nervousness I suppose. Almost as if I'd rather not know if I'm not ovulating. I realise how ridiculous that sounds! Are they working for you?

-I'm 35 years old
-TTC #1
-Cycle number lost count been trying for 4 years now
-I've had 3 chemicals / early miscarriages
-Don't qualify for help on the nhs due to being slightly overweight
-I have a known ovulation issue however when I got my testing done I did have a 21day progesterone reading of 30 which some people say is ok
-I have progesterone pesseries to use should I get a bfp
-trying baby aspirin this cycle too

• I have 33 day cycles so on cd20 so in fertile week, did lots due to the holidays

-af/bfp due 16th Jan

@tinysnowbuddy. I’ve been using clearblue digital OPKs as I need an obvious result rather than other brands where you compare the test line with the control line. I’d drive myself crazy with those but do appreavite that they tend to be a lot cheaper than clearblue.

First cycle I only ever get a flashing smiley which is high fertility. Was pretty annoying poas every day looking for a static smiley (peak fertility) which never came. Preserved with them though and got a static smiley on CD18. I dtd CD15,16,18 and 19. So here’s hoping for this month!

Hi guys!! I'll jump on this bus from Dec.
Age 36, cycle 3 for #2, DD is now 10 so huge age gap but I think she will be great. BFP due 10th Jan so about 5 or 6dpo. Really random question, I'm not one for symptom spotting as i'm not 100% sure I ever have anything, certainly not this month but...all my teeth down the left hand side, top and bottom have been killing me all day!!! Is this a progesterone thing or is it dentist time?? Fx to everyone testing this week/month! Xxx

I’m now 7 days late! This is the longest I have ever been late but am too nervy to take a test! Going to do one on Sunday if AF still hasn’t reared her ugly head. Not maybe symptoms, normally I have a full list of stuff lol and nothing ever materialises from it haha!

Hi I'd like to join too, just ov'd so AF due around 19th Jan.

I'm 35, TTC#2, cycle 19 (or something.. god knows) but really only cycle 2 as I had a proceure in November which found my problem and set me straight.

@Fruit I just wanted to respond to your positive OPK at CD25 - your luteal hormone rises just before AF is due as well as during pregancy so probably not ovulation if you've already had a +OPK this month. Worth a google around anyway.

We're following the Sperm Meets Egg Plan (aka shag as much as you can each month) for the first time this cycle, properly anyway, and I have VOWED not to POAS until AF is due. I'm a serial obsessor and have found it really tough month after month so would really like to just do away with all the squinting at sticks at 8DPO and find out in good time. PLEASE HELP ME STAY ON COURSE LADIES!

Thanks @CatRen27 in hindsight I think my previous opks looked + but as @sophherts said at the time weren’t quite there.

But yesterday’s really was + as line was darker than control. Anyway this morning I’ve had a bbt temp spike! So looks like I just ovulated cd25. Luckily dtd with dh yesterday and two days before that so unknowingly have been abiding by SMEP, will continue to dtd today, tomo and next day etc.

Today is CD1 as the witch reared her ugly head as expected m. Taking it as a positive though as I stopped pill in November and this is my second period after the initial withdrawal bleed so I'm glad my cycles are falling back into sync!

Hey all thought I will give you guys some info on opks I used and they worked great. They are cheapies from amazon and had positive for 2 days prior to ovulation and the pregnancy test that comes with them had a faint pink line yesterday on my 9DPO same as FRER!
