Thought I'd start a new bus if that's okay as the Jan bus is getting quite full and I'm out of the loop.

I have to say I'm fed up of this- we're using CBFM, softcups and preseed.

I don't know about anyone but me and DP are thoroughly fed up of having sex right now!! Although we're keeping it fun- to a degree. I wouldn't say we're dtd nearly enough this FW!

@LookingAtTheStars89. I’ve totally fallen behind on this thread as was working overseas! Not read through the last few days but seen your update today...or yesterday now! Hope you are ok. No peak for me!! Still flashing smiley. I’m honestly thinking about giving up on OPKs and just aim for dtd every other day. Would be extremely surprised if I got a BFP in Feb as only been able to dtd once during my assumed fertile week xx

@Kkk87. Yeah, I am able to be positive. We got ill just before fertile week and then there was Christmas stress and alcohol so I think it pushed ov back and we just didn't dtd often enough around that time.

@bubblybrit. Yeah I found them really stressful. It's kind of hard dtd every other day when your cycle ends up being 40+ days or even 35+ :-/ Ooh working overseas sounds fun :-) x

@LookingAtTheStars89. Yeah it’s adding way too much pressure for me. Each time I don’t get a static smiley I automatically think there is something wrong. Whilst in reality I’ve probably just missed the surge! DH thinks they are a waste of money so trying for a relexed approach for a bit. Easy said than done maybe as I have longer cycles like you so dtd that regular will come with its own stresses.

Yeah I usually love working overseas but not ideal when you are ttc. I’ve scaled back majorly since trying for a baby but means I’m stuck in an office environment. Which I’m totally not used to lol x

Just got a positive OPK today. I tested last night and it was negative, lunchtime today it’s positive. I’m working away from home tonight! It’s a basic Clearblue one so I think it’s 48 hours, an impromptu home visit planned for tomorrow night! First time I’ve used opks so not really sure what’s what.

This is 3 days early, all the apps were saying Friday but maybe ovulation will be in a day or two! 🙈

I’ve got the Ava bracelet been wearing it religiously but forgot it last night!! So typical! 🤦‍♀️

I am literally shaking. Came off the pill on 20th Dec and thought I had something resembling a period last week. Was feeling a bit dodgy tonight and this was the result

@bubblybrit. I was going to temp/opk but my GP thinks I might be stressed enough so I'm not going to. The thought of dtd another million times this month is :-/ enough LOL!

I had an appointment with my gp to discuss my wonky cycles today and she was lovely. She's ordered a shed load of blood tests for various different things so hopefully I will hear back by the end of the week. I also have to go for a progesterone test at 7dpo (God knows when that will be lol).

@LookingAtTheStars89. My AF is due 10th Feb. Not even bought any pg tests this month as I know I’m out. Only dtd three times as DH was ill 😢 no idea when or if I ovulated this month as gave up on OPKs as we weren’t dtd anyway! This is my rational mind. My irrational mind says that there may be a chance as it only takes the one time.....should really stop day dreaming to avoid the disappointment!

I’m so glad that you have an understanding GP and that they are taking you seriously. How long are your cycles now? Do they vary quite a bit?

@bubblybrit. You never know, you could've hit the target! Lol. I will keep my fx for you. I'm almost 100% sure we missed our fertile window, I think we dtd at the end of it and missed ov! We dtd loads last cycle but at the wrong time! My last cycle was 42 days! I assumed it would be around 35 again so stopped dtd on day 26. We were ill before Christmas so I should think it delayed things.

I'm on cd5 now and flo is almost finished. I shouldn't think we will start dtd until cd12 or so. If I haven't ovd by the time I have my scan, obviously we will try and ramp up our efforts a bit lol. X

@LookingAtTheStars89. To be fair I’m 95% sure that I’ve missed fertile week. Should probably just get on the March bus.

Ah it’s soul destroying when you dtd loads at what you think is the right time but turns out to be too early or late 😢!!

Each month is just dragging in cos I have fairly long cycles. Getting a little impatient/frustrated so maybe having a break this month will do me good xx

@bubblybrit. I know what you mean about time dragging! I'm on cd6 now and some people are preparing to go into their fertile week and I've still got like two and weeks at least until mine lol.

Some of my results should be back tomorrow and I'm dreading it! I'm worried they are going to tell me I'm broken!

If I'm not broken though lol I've said to DH that I think we should dtd every other day until flo as until I've had that scan we gave no idea when ov is!! x

@LookingAtTheStars89. Good luck with your results. Fx that everything ok 🤞!! Think dtd every other day is the least stressful method...at least for me! OPKs and BBT are too much for me right now. Might change my mind if I don’t get that BFP soon though!!

My af isn’t due until the 10th so have another 2 weeks before I can even start ttc again 😢

My DH is getting a little frustrated as both his friends (female) fell pregnant almost straight away. I keep telling him we are only 3 cycles in (really 2 cycles due to his illness) and to relax. However he is making me panic a bit! Silly as I know what 3 cycles are nothing but he is planting a seed of doubt xx
