Just heading into the 2ww!! This is the worst part, symptom spotting and poas like there's no tomorrow

I’m going to tentatively say a BFP is a possibility. Only a possibility mind. Partner just said those bumps round the nipple are bigger and the nipples are darker..... I refuse to get my hopes up however! He’s getting irritated now because every time he says that’s a possible sign I point out the pill come down can mimic pregnancy! I think he’s worse than me in this 2ww

@cakeanytype there is most definitely progression! I know you won't relax and that's totally understandable. Those tests are getting darker though. Some women, it can be more like 3-4 days for the hcg to increase. I will have everything crossed for you.

I am also a POAS addict. Despite the fact I still have 3 days to go before it would be 6 days before AF and I could use first response, I'm still testing every morning with cheapie eBay 10mlu test I need to get a grip and remember how lucky I am to already have four healthy DC. It's just this would be my DH first.

So I'm losing my mind AF was due Monday I took a test Tuesday which was negative trying to hold off to test again Monday. I used a first response and would have thought it would have shown positive on Monday if I'd conceived this cycle!!! I just want a deffinate answer aaaargh

@cakeanytype I definitely believe it's getting darker! Try not to be too anxious and just see it through. You'll be absolutely fine! Fx for you and little bean 💞

It's nice to know I'm not the only POAS addict out there! I feel like this thread has become a bit of a confessional! Haha! I'm only 2dpo at the mo so definitely no testing for me for a while! :) it's first cycle TTC #3 so I'm not expecting too much x

Can I join? AF is due on Wednesday. I am driving myself crazy. TTC DC3 since September. I have two DS's (5 and 3)
Boobs are so tingly this month. Just did a cheap amazon test but BFN. Ive never had a positive on those things though.
Going to do a FRER tomorrow morning.

Can I too? 6/7 DPO, cycle 1 (DTD daily during FW), TTC#1, resisting the urge to waste a test by POAS too soon with all my willpower.

Promised myself (and DH) I wouldn't get worked up and be a nutter in the early stages. Non-exemplary behaviour so far

AF due on Wednesday. Cycle #2 TTC DC2. Did an FRER today because I'd miscalculated and thought I was due in 4 days. It was a BFN but I won't rule myself out until AF arrives. Feeling tired lately, tingly boobs and increased CM... but as I'm only recently off the pill it could just be my hormones readjusting so I'm trying badly not to symptom spot.

I'm sticking with this .. it's 25 miu too fx

I am 7dpo, having pains on my lower right side of pelvis, kind of like a stitch with some stabbing as well as increased cm. Refusing to test for another 10 days 😖😣 hope everyone enjoys lots of BFP x

Hi @cakeanytype, can I ask you question please? How long is your luteal phase please? Mine is 12-13 days, I’m 8dpo tomorrow, I want to test but don’t really know it’s its way too early !

If I’m 18dpo (af is 4 days late) would I still be best waiting till the morning to test? Finally caved and bought a digi but Should I wait for fmu?

@rdm10 tbh being 4 days late it should show! But it is best to wait til fmu my little bean is cooking good so far I'm 16 dpo and got bfp at 12 dpo 😊

Between 12/14 days ... I gt my first faint at 8 dpo .... today iam 12 dpo ...

Ic r good fr giving a hint ... gt some n pee away ... I hve found other tests to b more reliable once u gt a faint...

I second the ICs, as I'm a bit of a poas addict (likely to start poas from 5dpo 🙈) saying that, last cycle I was getting faint lines on a frer and nothing on the ICs. So I think frer is even more sensitive than the 10miu ICs but I keep the frers until much later due to cost!

Which IC do you recommend? Do they detect from the day AF is due or before?

Frer is best but expensive if u like to check every thirty mins lol... the moment u see a crappy line u can pull out the expensive frer ... example below ... ic cn b used very early I was 8 dpo ... at 9 I gt these below ... so u see u save money .. I spent 50 in one week once as my line wouldn't progress .. hence my chemical ... fx this time .. I'm due between today tom n sun ... pray fr me
