ATP1000 thanks for the heads up re. FRER on offer at Boots! 👍 Ive never had much luck with ICs and don't get me started with Clear blue plus (blue dye test)...had a false positive with one of those before! Certainly for me anyway FRER or clear blue digi can't go wrong!

cakeanytype · 12/01/2018 20:47

I rang clear blue once ! Thy r the worst ! Gt a false positive ... hate them

PassTheAfterEights · 12/01/2018 20:58

Is being a clumsy muppet an early symptom!?

Two attempts at Yasmin Khan's Persian Love Cake tonight both in the bin; blamed the eggs first time (PLEASE LET THAT NOT BE PROPHETIC), second I have nowhere to go. Cake on the outside, raw batter within.

Cracked a glass trivet with a lukewarm pot making supper which I don't want and can't taste (couple of days now, no appetite and no sense of taste - even for after eights - unnerving).

Oh and I've burst into tears twice in 24 hours for basically no reason (OK the second time was the cake). Any thoughts, symptom spotters?!

I'm seeing imaginary lines aren't I?

NakedMum33and3rd · 13/01/2018 08:38

Congrats looking!

I'm 9dpo. It's a frer. But I keep looking at it and seeing nothing but then occasionally catch a line. I don't want to give myself false hope.

cakeanytype · 13/01/2018 08:50

I'm sick of mums net nt letting me post pics it's driving me mad ... I took ur pic n circled where I cud see the line ... 🤬 I see it .... u shud hve seen mine on 8dpo it was terrible...

Nelle u clever lady !!!

SleepyBadger · 13/01/2018 09:18

@Lookingforaline18 that is definitely positive. I've never heard of false positives on a FRER and that's a good line hun! Congratulations! Happy and Healthy 9 months to you! Lots of BFPs on this thread which is fab...hope to be joining in a week or so when I can test 🤞😬

SleepyBadger · 13/01/2018 09:22

@NakedMum33and3rd not definitive so maybe test again tomorrow with FMU and hopefully you'll get a darker line. It's quite a dark picture and I can see something but more shadowy than pink? Fingers crossed for you it is a BFP 🤞. All the staring at tests I've done over the years TTC my 2 DCs it's a wonder I haven't damaged my eyes 😂😳

NakedMum33and3rd · 13/01/2018 09:38

Yes cake. That is what I could see. Think I'm going to wait and test on Monday morning. That will hopefully put my mind at ease. I would def think there would be a more defined line by then.

I showed DH. He thinks I'm seeing things.

FingersXssd83 · 13/01/2018 09:39

I'm new here and so desperate for positive baby news this month. I'm 34 and we've been trying since May 2017 but had to take a few months off due to getting an abnormal smear and having to go for further tests (thankfully was all clear!).

So, we've been properly trying for 6 months. I'm now 7DPO and symptom spotting, had lots of weird pulling/twinges happening over the last few days, been unusually windy, peeing loads (woke up for the loo three times last night!) and feel very emotional today.

Read an article that Jan is the month most people get pregnant throughout the year.... do you think this month could be our month?

NakedMum33and3rd · 13/01/2018 11:40

Here is a lighter pic. I really can't see anything any more. Grrrrr

Hey guys just thought I'd post on here - I've read through this thread and its very unlikely I'm pregnant: don't know if anyone has read my spermy fingers post in AIBU?

So yes, unlikely 😆

But yesterday my face erupted with shit loads of spots. Normally I would get one or two "throbbers" on my chin when AF is due. Now as I say I have about 10-odd scattered in weird places around my face.

Also some twinging but I know that thats the kind of thing you can get every now and then as part of your normal cycle.

I do feel like a weird heaviness in my womb if you understand what i mean? Like there's something heavy putting pressure on it - but I have to say this may be in my head.

GlitterUnicornsAndAllThatJazz · 13/01/2018 11:48

Should add I am 8dpo with AF due on 19th

cakeanytype · 13/01/2018 11:52

Nakedmum.... tom morning.. I saw something ...no smoke without fire

Karigan1 · 13/01/2018 12:07

Glitters. I read it and thought it was possible but unlikely. Afraid to say that so many pms symptoms are just like pregnancy that only time and a pee stick will probably tell. Sorry :(

I’m kind of wondering if this may be the month for me so going to test tomorrow since I have a load of postitive symptoms. So send me your baby vibes ladies!!! ;)
