January Bus - New Year, New Bumps Please!

Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today Sad

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

@Aridia aww I know how you feel this time of year is super hard and I'm feeling so meh about it all now as well. It's so hard seeing the baby themed clothes however I have to believe it'll happen for us and just need to be patient xx

@owlpatrol I somehow found myself in tescos baby clothes section yesterday, just gazing at the adorable winter baby clothes

@aridia We feel the same, that Christmas would be much more meaningful with children. We also started imagining the fun ways we could tell our parents on xmas day so its disappointing that we can't. I know they'd be just as excited any day of the year, it would just be more fun for us, giving them a wrapped gift and seeing their faces.

@OwlPartol You're absolutely right. I keep telling myself that it's just not our time yet, but that we'll get there eventually. And that when we do it will mean so much because of how hard we've tried for it.

I must admit though, I do torture myself looking at all the gorgeous baby clothes, just like you @BaliBound! Tiny Christmas jumpers are just irresistible!

Fingers crossed for lots of Christmas baby dust! And let's make them sticky ones!

AF only arrived today and I've already done a due date calculator to see what my theoretical due date will be.... I can't be the only one who does this?! Blush

Haha @BaliBound! I have the Ovia Pregnancy app to track my imaginary pregnancy every month...glad I'm not the only one working out imaginary due dates!
@OwlPatrol I'm normally just browsing the Mothercare website lol! Good thing were all nuts lol!

@SpongeCake23 I had a laparoscopy in 2013 to remove endo from my uterosacral ligaments, right ovary, and a few other patches. Since then I was on back to back microgynon until March this year. My adeno was diagnosed in January after an mri, so not had any treatent for that as we've been TTC. They're such rubbish diseases. And the treatment options are so poor. Right now I'm mostly angry that I can't get pregnant, but because my womb is enlarged I look like I'm 12 weeks pregnant! 😂 it's not fair lol!

Haha @owlpatrol! I am so glad I am not the only one who does things like that. Even before we had started TTC, a couple of years ago I priced up a "gold" package nursery and a bronze and silver! My best friend had a secret Pinterest board that she shared with me.

Well today is day 1 for SMEP for me this month. I have the beginnings of a cold and have to go to stupid works Christmas party. I just want to stay home and be warm. Hermit TTC-er that I am.

Hi ladies. Got a very faint bfp at 3 days late (according to ff) this morning but have since gone into heavy bleeding with clots. So looks like CP Sad. So hope you dont mind me joining you on the jan bus.
Back to CD1, next af due 6th jan

Still no withdrawal bleed. Had my last pill on Sunday. I would usually come on 3 or 4 days after. And in the past when I've missed a pill or two not often I should add in the middle of the pack I've come on straight away! Feeling so bloated this week so I've been expecting it. TMI but on Tues I had a very slight pink tint on the tissue when I wiped so thought I was going to come on but nope, nothing Confused

Omg I had serious envy eyes today at all the mum's in prams buggies etc

I'm on day 6 so hopefully starting the sperm meets egg plan next couple of days however I also feel like I'm coming down with a cold and have work Xmas party next week and I would prefer being a stay at home Kermit as Well!

My fertile window is over Christmas week. We’re away staying with lots of family in a bungalow where our bedroom is right in the middle of the house. Awkward!! Xmas Grin

Owl I hear you on the prams! I never get broody over other people's babies (despite having my own 4 I've never held anyone else's Shock). But I do love looking at prams and traditional style clothes (rompers, smocked dresses and bonnets).

Thanks soph Flowers the cramps are real bad and its really heavy bleeding. I did the test this morning and within the hour AF was here. Was such an anticlimax. I feel really sad about it. But ill be ok.

My AF started today and it will be my 1st month TTC... being silly and calculating my next due date for AF and calculating when I will be able to tell people 😂

Only 2 more cycles to get a bfp before we put ttc on hold for a while as we get married next December. Naively thought we would already have our little miracle by now 😢

@HoneyCake86 AF can be such a bitch. Look after yourself and let yourself be sad for as long as you need. I'm ok, sore cramps & heavy clotty af but that seems to be standard now after the mc. I've just ordered my opk to try it out next month xx

Anyone else dreading having to dtd while staying at relatives over xmas?

We're staying at both our parents & I should ovulate on xmas day when we're sleeping on a mattress in my parents' lounge. Nothing says romance like your parents, grandparents, aunt & uncle & cousins all staying in the same house!

I am really hoping to have o'd by Christmas day. My FW should have ended on 23rd so will have to see. We are going to Mum's on Xmas morning so should have a small window of opportunity then.

Back to bfn nearly, vvv faint barely visible but the bleeding continues Sad so CD2. Anyone know if id ovulate as normal right after a cp? Or does it need time to get in rhythm again or something? Do i just try again as normal? Sorry if im being blonde
