Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

Awww @nk1605 glad you are able to look forward at least! I've been following smep this month but had a total cry baby moment this morning as cramping has started and not due af till the 1st so I'm feeling I'm out already

Could it be implantation @Owlpatrol - how many dpo are you?

@nk1605 just 're read my note and realised I should have put some gaps in it...i didn't mean to turn it round on me. That was thoughtless of me. I have a really good feeling for you this month and we are all here for you xx

@Rioja2511 possibly. I'm 7dpo so anything up to now is purely hormonal anyway x

@Owlpatrol no don't be silly! I didn't think that at all. I know how disheartening it can be when the cramps come and you don't know what's going to happen. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that the cramps are a good sign! Part of the smep says not to test until positive OPK date +15 days. I think this time I will follow that advice! Or at least try my very hardest to.

What CD did you get your positive OPK? The last two cycle I didn't until CD18 so after dtd every other day up to that point and then having to do it 3 in a row, DP and I were absolutely knackered. But it worked so that's why I will give it another shot 🙂

Thanks hun yep @nk1605 that means I can't test till 31st as got poss opk on cd13 which was 16th. Ovia reckons I can test on the 27th but I won't be around to test so going to wait till 31st when smep thinks I should test. I missed one dtd so still trying to keep positive. I felt my right ovary release about 3 hours after we dtd so hoping for strong swimmers! I did the cough mixture as well...speaking of which I've still got this flipping cough! Out tonight but thinking I'll drive and pretend to be on anti biotics tbh I'm not bothered about drinking. I'd rather be pregnant any day!

Oh totally. I had myself geared up for a dry Xmas and now my mum and dp are trying to give me the all the positives like I can drink now...but I would much rather not be able to. Oh well.

Fingers and toes crossed you get that BFP on the 31st. Don't worry about missing a day either...I missed the last one (after you skip a day) and still got pg. The main thing is the 3 days around ov which you did 🙂

So after spotting for 24 hours I think I've got a positive opk! DH is already moaning about having to dtd on command so no idea how I'm going to convince him to dtd for the next couple of days, especially when we're staying at my parents and then his!

Yep that's a positive @sophherts I know what you mean when dh complains but unfortunately dtd is dtd I'm sure he'll get his mojo on. Jist remind him to go easy on the food and booze lol

@FruitandNutty definitely a BFN... I’m just putting it down to a stressful week as I just left my job. Hopefully it will go on to be a normal cycle!

@Hardheadedwoman39 congrats! The line can take a while to get darker so I hope you can see that in a couple of days 😊

We are going to do SMEP this month, I’ve just explained to DH what it involves and he’s all for it. It could be a long job for us as I don’t get a positive OPK until around CD18 (or at least I didn’t last month!). I am increasingly surprised by how much he is putting into this as he works long hours in a manual job and sometimes doesn’t finish until late at night, but he wants a baby almost as much as I do so he seems to just be going along with whatever I say. Feeling very lucky today to have that!

@Owlpatrol I know 😂 hoping the 'naughty' factor of having to stay quiet at our parents' houses will get him going!

Hi everyone, hope everyone is ok! Well it’s been 2 weeks since my mc and I have loads of ewcm, more than I would usually have, could I ovulate soon? I haven’t been temping or using opk, thought I’d leave it until af after mc.

I'm 12dpo and last Monday had severe and sudden pain followed by being really dizzy/ faint that Day. Then two days later more dizziness which made me test. The last two days I've had twinges and stabbing pains - I assume the ligaments stretching and an ache in my right hip. Yesterday my bbs became firm.

Basically all the symptoms of been spotting for the last 3 months did not happen this month / which was almost my first clue!

@owlpatrol. It was a great night thanks. Was pleased to leave early though as difficult to keep making excuses. Ah if you do decide to test early then I’ll keep my fx for you!

@LookingAtTheStars89. That sounds awful. I hope you both feel better soon! I hate it when something like that gets in the way of dtd. My DH has already started to say that he is feeling unwell. Think the long hours at work and ttc are finally getting to him. Got my static on Tuesday so dtd that evening and then on Wednesday. Hoping that covers us if we aren’t able to dtd tonight...

Decided to go out tonight and only have one or two. Hopefully take my mind off things. Cramps have ceased now and now I have heartburn. Desperately trying to ignore symptoms as you can tell haha! I also had super vivid dreams last two nights. Trying not to read into that either. Wish me luck lol x

@bubblybrit. We are feeling better today thanks. I felt terrible yesterday. I'm going to buy some opk' s tomorrow and start testing. It's my first wedding anniversary tomorrow and we were going out for dinner but we think we are going to stay in.

I hope your oh isn't coming down with anything. There are bugs going around everywhere at the minute :-(

@LookingAtTheStars89. Congrats on your first wedding anniversary glad you are feeling a little better....I hate being poorly! What OPKs are you thinking of using this month?

@bubblybrit. I'm thinking of using cheapies, for the cost of 20 clearblue sticks I could probably get 1000 cheapies lol. At least then I can test as many times a day as I like.

@LookingAtTheStars89. If I’m not successful this month then think I’m going to buy internet cheapies as well. Was in my local pharmacy today and clearblue with 20 sticks was nearly £50!

I've got some cheap ones from amazon. The first lot were faulty though... But considering the price having to repurchase doesn't really matter.

Bloods showed very low hormone, and tonight was negative. So i have definately had a miscarriage.
