Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

Thanks lovely ladies x the pain randomly ramped up again tonight so i need a scan to check for retained products of conception..
I feel grief and ive cried so much but im also relieved that i know for sure whats happening. Getting positive tests long after the bleeding stops gives you so much false hope x

@HoneyCake86. I had positive tests for weeks after I had my medical management (tablets). I went to my gp and asked for some zopiclone (sleeping tablets) they didnt help me sleep much but they did zone me out a bit which was helpful. Do what ever you can (within reason obviously) to relax - hot baths, a few glasses of wine, mountains of chocolate. It won't take the emotional pain away but it might make you feel physically better x

Wine is the one thing im really intending to have. Its been an absolute rollercoaster.
The doctor was so patronising. She said “we dont yet know if there was definately a pregnancy to begin with” are you kidding love? 2 weeks of positive tests, pain bleeding and other nasty symptoms and she comes out with that? Even the bloods showed positive ffs. Dunno what planet she was on when she came out with that but i wasnt happy. Thats akin to someone saying im imagining it!!

I want my bed but im still at hospital waiting for tonights bloods and some nice strong drugs x

@honeycake86 I am so sorry to hear this. All good advice from pp. just take it easy, I hope you can have a quiet few days to get your head round what has happened and you have lots of support too. Xx

@HoneyCake86. Yeah, unfortunately they don't always gave much tact when it comes to this kind of thing. When I had my miscarriage confirmation scan and I cried she looked at me gone out and said "Oh, has this never happened to you before?" I was like wtf, as if it would matter if it had. Oh yeah then when I had to go and have a clot removed in gynae a few days after the Dr said "You can take strong pain killers now that you're not pregnant anymore"

Some Drs have no social kills whatsoever.

@Honeycake86, sorry to hear that. Make sure you make the most of not being pregnant at Christmas though! I am definitely enjoying the advantages of being able to have a few mulled wines 😁.

@lookingatthestars89 thats awful! I just think its ridiculous in this day n age that so many medics dont know how to sensitively handle a mc. Trying to say it never existed has got to be one of the worst things you can say to a woman during pregnancy loss.

But im just glad i know for certain what direction im going in now, i have something to work with and im not clinging to false hope now. Thanks for being so supportive ladies, you and dp have been my rock xx

I’ve been awaiting a positive opk and not quite there yet despite getting that weird early one in my cycle (which wasn’t full on + but almost). My recent tests seem midway there so just continuing to dtd and see what happens

TMI warning - I'm 2dpo and having brown stringy discharge - not EWCM but like almost clotty. Can't remember if I've had this before pre-pill - maybe related to ovulation?! Anyone else had this before?

@Rioja2511 could be ovulation bleeding? I had some a couple of months ago that was more red and I didn't need a pad or anything and lasted half a day x

FF thinks I ovulated a few days ago, before my positive opk! I'm so confused... has anyone else had a chart like this?

I know my bbt is a bit all over the place but I'm an awful sleeper so it's difficult to rest after a solid chunk of sleep as that would be at different times in the middle of the night

@sophherts yes it's very similar to mine. It's my first month properly temping so not sure what to make of it
