January Bus - New Year, New Bumps Please!

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

Flu + AF this morning = happy Christmas! Hopping on Jan bus x

Ovulating today and DH is away till 28th so good luck everyone I'm probably out I might be back later in the month if my period comes early enough not to miss him again but if not it's the waiting game now. I'll probs lurk now and then baby dust to everyone xxx

So only on my second cycle since stopping my pill in October. Ovia thought I should have started AF on Monday but Fertility Friend says next Monday (which I believe more as that would be closer to a 28 day cycle). We’ve been careful so far as really want a September (or after) baby as mat leave would work better as I’m a teacher.
Thing is, I don’t feel like I’m going to come on on Monday. Should I just wait it out and see what happens next week?

I had my implant removed early November, had a period beginning of December but I've been testing with opks and they all seem negative to me and I don't think I've had any ewcm! Worried I've not ovulated at all I was on the implant twice so for 6 years in total in a row but I've not read anything saying this would affect anything

Do you think this is a positive opk or not quite? It's the first month I've used them!

Soph that’s not positive or even close - it needs to be the same colour or darker than the control line like these

TTC:#2 ( DD was an accidental pregnancy with the coil in with a different partner). We’re currently undergoing fertility testing through the GP and looks as though we may be suffering from male factor infertility.

I was 6 days late last month so am having a break over Christmas ( eg drinking baileys, having sex when we aren’t shattered from Christmas and no bloody OPK’s!)

Eeeek! Looks like positive opk today 🙌🏻 (Thanks Justwaitingforaline for confirming, im so new to all this...)

Fingers crossed we won’t be too shattered with all this Xmas madness to actually dtd 😂

Ive just realised that we've got DPs teenage nephews staying with us for the next couple of nights!! I am pretty certain DP won't be up for dtd with them in the house. Sooo annoying. I have ewcm today aswell.....

We'll have to dtd as soon as we get home later before they arrive. I have such bad baby fever this month

@owlpatrol. I’m due to test on 1st January! I know that we dtd at the right time this cycle so keeping my fx for a new year BFP have xmas night out with work this evening so already trying to think of excuses for drinking very little - surely a glass of wine won’t do much harm? Then I can have soda water and lime and pretend there is vodka in it! Will keep my fx for you

Has anyone had pink tinged/red blood streaked ewcm before? I've got it for the first time ever this month at cd15 but no positive opk yet so I don't think it's an ovulation bleed. Could it be from dtd this morning?

@owlpatrol. Just home from works night out and think I managed to hide drinking pretty well! Do you think if I test on 31st that it will be too early? Got a huge party but don’t want to drink just in case? Would be good to know beforehand....but not sure if much point?

@bubblybrit. No going so well here! Me and dh have bloody gastro! Can you believe it. I have been welded to the loo seat all day and I look horrific lol my hair is greasy and I've seen white pieces of paper with more colour in than me! We were planning to start dtd again tonight but we definitely won't be doing that!

@bubblybrit yeah I'd say you'll be fine. I may take a cheeky test on Xmas day but that's definitely pushing it!

@sophherts not sure hun....my ovulation bleed a few months back was after doing a long dog walk. It Was definitely more blood like not cm like. You might get poss opk tomorrow?

Eugh I am cd 22, we did the SMEP even though we are staying with my PIL! Today I have been super grumpy, cramps & just generally irritable! I have no reason to be grumpy, we are in Australia and the weather is glorious & my DD is loving it!

All the hallmarks of AF about to rear her head. Testing on NYD if AF doesn’t appear before. Pity party for one 😞

Woody I'm exactly the same except cd23! Full of rage today (DH can't even breathe without annoying me) - not really boding well for Christmas hols!

Same cd20 temps falling and feeling a bit down as we dtd perfrctly this month 😔

@clarigirl I'm a teacher too and hoping to conceive this month... getting paid for the summer holidays before mat leave makes such a difference doesn't it!! Did you do a test yet?

@OwlPatrol and @Woody I'm on CD22 at the mo so we'll be testing at the same time... fx!

Hope everyone is doing ok. I'm on CD5 now (taking CD1 as the first day of heaving bleeding after mc) and now it's quite light. Not sure if it will go on for a few more days but planning to start smep again from Tuesday if it has stopped by then.

I know some people say it's better to wait until you have another period before you ttc after mc but I feel ready to try again. I also read you can be more fertile after mc...whether or not that is actually true I don't know, but it has really helped me get back in a positive mindset 😊

Anyone else planning on following smep this month? I also have conceive plus, but dp hated it last time.
