January Bus - New Year, New Bumps Please!

Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today Sad

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

Thanks jubba. I feel like my body is playing cruel tricks on me, the hormone seems to be hanging around needlessly, giving clear bfps. That gives ya false hope. It really is screwing with my head.
We made plans to go away tomorrow but the EPU said they’ll call back tomorrow about the scan, so i dont even know if im going to have to drop my plans or not. Sods law if i get no phone call until im 100 miles from home 😣

Hello all,

I’m joining the January bus too:

Cycle: 5 (although I’m not convinced any months but Dec we predicted ovulation correctly so this month I really consider it as starting again)
Age: 30
TTC: 1

Cycle is anything between 29-36 days. AF started today and will be using ovulation tests this month. If it’s the same as last cycle should be around 12th Jan with AF around 25th Jan. Is anyone predicting the same?

Feeling down in the dumps today and could do with chatting with people who understand.

So sorry @HoneyCake86.

I'm feeling very much like AF is on its way. I'm on day 21 but such bad lower back pain / cramps. Making me feel very teary and hormonal tonight.

Can I ask your recommendations for tracking apps and ovulations strips? I'm on cycle 2 with my second. First time round it happened pretty much straight away, but I'm now 35 and think I need to get a bit focused. I'm currently using Ovia app but read some iffy reviews. Don't feel it's accurate for me.

Hope to hear lots of BFP news soon from you all.

I used Ovua for the first time this month and tracked my temperature too - it was spot on with ovulation - oh I I used CB ovulation tests....

Hi everyone! I'm also hopping on the bus, although I'm only 5 months PP and AF has not yet returned so I have no idea where in my cycle I am - or if my fertility has even returned yet as I'm still breastfeeding.

Tried an OPK today and it was very dark though - is this a positive?

Positive OPKs today. Lots of cramping. No EWCM. What do we actually count as ovulation day if you don't temp? I know the OPKs mean it should be in the next 12-36 hours but my first positive was this morning so therefore it could be anywhere from this evening to tomorrow evening right?x

Thank you @tappitytaptap I guess just having another month go by with AF showing up and everyone around me seems to be either pregnant or having babies. It doesn’t help that in the past week multiple people have asked when are we having a baby etc when they don’t even know we are trying. Just makes it harder 😞

Morning ladies I'm trying to distract myself till new years eve now to test because I know that Xmas day is too soon and then we are away for a few days anyway. I'll just have to go easy on the booze! I would have loved a bfp this Christmas but one week later won't harm and I'll need all the patience in the world with a new born anyway

Really weird BBT chart this month, my temps have risen every day since CD 1 (now on CD 5), and they’re now at my post ov temperatures. Has this happened to anyone else?

It’s a really light period as well, medium flow on CD2 & 3 but the others have just been when I wipe, and no clots or anything at all.

Think I will do an OPK tonight but if I’ve randomly ovulated during AF then I’ve definitely missed it because we don’t usually DTD while I’m on. Also I would have missed my LH surge by now probably so wouldn’t know...

Stupid body.

@Rioja2511 I didn't have any ewcm this month just positive opks- I was convinced I was a dried up old hag, am 39....

I've texted again this morning and the test looks the same - shouldn't it be darker?

@Hardheadedwoman that made me LOL too! It also looks darker today to me, plus I think it’s meant to get darker every 48 hours as hcg doubles (not likely in just a day)

@foreverretro I’d maybe take a preg test as it could have been implantation or breakthrough bleeding which I hear is common in early preg?

Not necessarily hun, it can take anything up to 3 days for the hormone to double (48-72 hrs). You’ll be ok hun, congrats Flowers

Thank you guys - I am clueless about it really as the last time I was pregnant was 11 years ago and none of this existed really, oh and I lived in China with no internet!

I'm sending out OH to buy all of the pregnancy tests in town 

Any progress @HoneyCake86 ?

@PumpkinPatch000 yes definitely hard when there are babies all around (and there seem to be so so many when you are trying don't there?). Would this be your first baby? How many cycles have you tried for? This is #2 for me and I'm slightly more relaxed than when I was TTC for DS but am, like you, surrounded by pregnant people! I try and remember that them being pregnant doesn't make it less likely that I will be.

Try not to torture yourself with tests hun, ive been doing that n its driving me mad. Im a poas addict.
My test turned from clear positive to almost negative overnight. Still getting symptoms though and bright yellow cm which according to google could be the pregnacare ive been taking Hmm. I don’t have a clue whats going on in my body anymore, i feel completely lost right now xx

@tappitytaptap i know what you mean. I went to EPU yesterday about my miscarriage and on the way back to the car a couple got in the lift, taking home their newborn. My ovaries were screaming.
