Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

@bali I’m going to be a bit more restrained this Christmas, but not stopping drinking until I have a BFP.

AF over today! Is SMEP wait until CD8 then DTD every other day?

#1 took nearly a year so expect I'll be hanging around for a while again.

@jubbablub yes that's it, every other day from CD8 and then when you get your positive OPK, it's 3 days in a row then skip and day and then dtd once more. Saying that, I didn't dtd after the skip a day part as dp was travelling and still managed to get pg. But to be honest we will probably not start as early as CD8 as we were both knackered the last time and dp felt it was all becoming too regimented!

@sodasoda sorry to see you on the Jan bus too 😞 I am going to try my hardest not to test until 19 dpo this time round (as FF suggested) because I just caused myself such heartache. I don't know why I thought ttc #2 was going to be as easy as #1!

If FF is anywhere near accurate, looks like I'm well and truly on the Jan bus
(Was Fluctuating between the 2 due to being so irregular)

I know you're to have at least a full cycle or 2 of BBT records so I can't go by this 100% but it makes a bit more sense to me getting so many flashing smileys leading up to it - no tests with me at work so not sure about yesterday or today (I work a full 48hours shift and live with my client in that time)

Let's hope I don't get the AF dip :(

I’m in the middle of a meltdown this morning as it just dawned on me that we haven’t conceived in 5 months and we’re now in the minority (60% conceive in 3 months). Were ttc #1 and I’ve never had a bfp in my life... I’m so scared of not being able to have children

@fruitandnutty We're on cycle 4 and neither of us have ever had a bfp either, so we have the same 'can we actually....' thoughts in the back of our mind. I'm sure its totally normal to think like this.

I've got af like cramps today on CD13. I had the exact same on CD16 last month. I'm wondering if its ov related. My af was late last month so it would make sense that ov was delayed.

I've just re read my opk instructions and it says to leave the pee for 30 mins to get to room temperature before testing. Has anyone else seen this or done this and has it made a difference?

Yep we've been ttc for 13 months and dh has two ds from previous ....so it's not him right? We've had all sorts of conversations over the past year and we won't truly know yet. I am more upbeat this month though, I love Christmas and we've been attempting the smep so I feel I have some form of control of that makes sense? But everything your saying above is totally normal and it can take a healthy couple up to a year xx so try to keep positive and fx and baby dust to us all xx

I thought I was bang on Dec and Jan bus but 11dpo I e just tested and need thoughts....what I think is a faint line appeared after 2 minutes - am I seeing things?

Oh ladies just been out for lunch with dh was lovely but there was a table of yummy mummies with newborns I feel so meh about it I'm happy for them but I'm so jealous!

Argghh! My hubby has come fown with man flu! Is it wrong that I'm sat here thinking "I hope he gets better soon so we can start dtd" lol. I'm only on cd6 so I'm not panicking too much!

Thank you, am in massive shock. Am still shaking... I had acupuncture for this cycle so now want to rush out and kiss the acupuncturist!
Will test in the morning as it's so so faint.

Thanks @nk1605. I’m not using OPKs this month as FF predicts my fertile week to be over Christmas and we’re away with relatives. Just going to dtd as much as we can over the week.

@Melamine, I think we have the same test date. Fingers crossed.
