January Bus - New Year, New Bumps Please!

Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today Sad

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

Dr has already taken bloods so not alot more he can do until he gets them back. Hospital are waiting for bloods to confirm the bfp before they sort a scan xx

Think I'm having ov pains today at cd12 & cm has gone egg white but DH is exhausted and I told him we could start dtd on Thursday as both apps told me I won't be ov until Sunday/Monday!

Just having a moan that he's not a machine 😂 poor DH! Im probably just symptom spotting anyway because my opk's have been negative so far. I'll start testing twice a day from tomorrow so I don't miss it.

Anyone else at the same stage about to start fw?

My weird peanut belly ache is moving down to middle of my tummy really trying not to get hopes up considering a fertilised egg is far too small to "feel" i wondered if the fallopian tubes contract or something ?

@sophherts I'm CD14 and OPKs looking just like yours. First cycle off pill. Really bad lower abdominal cramps today and yesterday but practically no CM (tmi but I remember feeling really wet at some points during my cycle pre-pill, but certainly no EWCM - anybody else get this when coming off pill?

@HoneyCake86 thinking of you whilst you're going through this xx

@Rioja2511 I can't remember! I came off about 2 years ago and I don't really remember much about my pre-pill cycles, I was on it for 10 years. Fx your cycle calms down quickly

@LookingAtTheStars89. I got my first ever static today. Was delighted although my DH didn’t share my enthusiasm. He had a work dinner but had to rush home so that we could dtd! Lol Smile Are you supposed to dtd the day that you get the static as well as the day after? Or should tonight be sufficient? Mmm cake sounds awesome. Happy birthday to your daughter CakeSmile hope your cold gets better soon! Is it still your plan to just enjoy xmas and new year without ttc pressure?

@bubblybrit. Huzzah! Was it an fmu test? Did you use the same holder as last month? What cd are you now? Sorry for all the questions! Tonight and tomorrow would be better but if you can't then don't worry too much. The cake was bloody good. I held my niece for the first time this evening and it was amazing. I thought I would feel heart broken but I didn't. I just felt lovely.

Well, I think I am "out out" for the foreseeable. My manager told me today that she plans to restructure our team in the new year and I will have to apply for one of the new roles. Details are all tbc but if redundancy is on the cards, financially we couldn't have me out of work and TTC without a prospect of proper SMP. Sad

Oh no, really sorry to hear that. Pretty insensitive of your work to announce a restructure right before Christmas, too! I hope it works out ok for you.

Thanks @piglet. It's definitely been one of those years this year. But fingers crossed that 2018 is a much better year. And who knows, with a nicer job I might have more normal cycles again (searching for the silver linings!).

@LookingAtTheStars89. Yeah it was from fmu. Used new holder for new cycle. On CD19 but static appeared yesterday so CD18....I’m glad that you enjoyed the time with your niece. It will be your turn soon!! I’m sure of it Smile yeah that’s what I thought....can’t really be bothered dtd tonight as working 14 hour day but hey ho if it results in a baby then I’m up for it lol

@LookingAtTheStars89. Yeah I’m so glad I got my static as was starting to worry a little. Which I know is completely irrational as only been ttc for 2 months! Definitely try again as a few people have said that they only got flashing the first month of using them and then they got their static on month two

So I think I'm in the tww now - had twingey pains on my right side yesterday (cd19, which sounds about right since my last cycle was 32 days). Didn't manage to dtd quite as much as we'd planned due to Christmas festivities/general busyness, so will just have to hope we got lucky!

Im fucking crying in frustration right now. Doctor got test results back but the receptionist is like a brick wall! She said that my results are abnormal (the thyroid levels) the serum hcg levels- and i quote: “something like 7.679 or something like that” and she doesnt know how to read them but the soonest the dr can see me is next friday. Scan is on 27th and im going for my 2nd lot of bloods later today. Test line is a touch fainter than before with FMU. EPU cant do anything more than whats already being done.

So i have to wait over a week to know whether ive had a miscarriage or not! Im so tearful and anxious Sad

Ovulation test positive today!
Had an implant out in early October and this is the first positive ovulation strip I've seen, got ovulation cramps, DTD Monday and will be today, tomorrow and Friday.. to make super sure!
Fingers crossed

I dont know hun she said the dr is fully booked up and they cant squeeze anything in. I dont know what to think, its all such a mess! I just wana know where i stand 😢
