@UnicornsandRainbows1 The bit of research I've done says that the sooner you conceive after a loss the more likely you are to have a successful pregnancy. That's the aim anyway, but we know that it doesn't go to plan. "Men make plans, and the God's laugh"

@NelleB wow congrats!! That's a super strong line for so early. Fingers crossed it continues well for you.
@MrsMac1489 we didn't wait either although I just got my af on Sat so unfortunately didn't work first time for us.

Think I'll be trying this SMEP when I'm back from hols!!

Anxiety is the worst @NelleB try and keep yourself busy to take your mind of things then hopefully after your af was due you can start and relax a little x

@Boboelephant How was your first period since? I've been told to expect something not like normal? Xxx

It's been fine @MrsMac1489. Maybe slightly heavier but seems much the same really. I was expecting it to be much worse. I did have an ERPC though as I had a missed miscarriage so not sure if that makes a difference to if it was spontaneous. x

DaisyMay25 I feel super indecisive at the moment. All over the place.

BrokenBaubles I think it would be really good for you to take some time off work. It is really hard physically.

Boboelephant had a reasonable slimming world day but then DTD with DH so I think I'll just take 1 day at a time and see how it goes. Clearly my plans are rubbish!

NelleB How exciting! I'm so happy for you! Is it ok to ask how many months post mc did you get this BFP? Just asking as I just had my MC and haven't had first AF yet!

@peachesarenom hi peaches it was the next cycle. We had our mmc 16th December and ovulated last week.

di626 I had a bfn at 10dpo. I’m holding out a smidge of hope that it was because it was an ic. Af is due today.... 14dpo but way too nervous to test again!

Ah its just so disheartening. I have recurr m/c consultant app this aftn & had my hopes up of getting bfp this morn so i could go saying i had & ask what they could do to help 😏

Guys, need some help.

I'm a week post complete miscarriage with no intervention. I'm really keen to try again, so this morning I took a pregnancy test (assuming it would be positive and chanting "you are not pregnant, this is just residual hormones") only to get what I would consider a negative test.

Should I now start fertility tracking because my first cycle will start soon? I'm assuming that because my bHCG levels were never that high (poor little peanut never stood a chance) is hasn't taken that long to drop back down to barely anything.

I'm not bleeding anymore, just that yukky brown stuff. Natural Cycles is recommending LH tests starting the day after tomorrow.

I feel like I'm in the wilderness a bit. I expected this non-pregnant limbo to last a lot longer.

@MrsMac1489 I see a line on it, It's faint but it's there. Perhaps there's still some hormones left in your system.
How long has it been since your mc?

@DaisyMay25 I see the faint line too ("chanting") but I think I expected like POSITIVE test, like the one you hope to see when you test at home lol

I'm a week since I started bleeding but two weeks since I last had any pregnancy symptoms (sickness, need to nap and all that jazz).

@MrsMac1489 I can still see a line too but I don't know when that means your cycles return. I had positive tests for about a week after my mc too (natural complete mc) and I had a long cycle so I think I ovulated a week late (I wasn't using opks but just tracking from cm etc, thought I had got quite good at it by now but apparently not).
Anyway, not sure if that has answered your question

mrsmac I still see a line and therefore I think you must have some hormones left? Personally I’d test again tomorrow. I cracked open a clear blue digital juts to see the words not pregnant. And as horrid as that was I felt very clear that I was ok to crack on again. The last thing I needed was to not be sure if I fell pregnant again if it was new or not...

@MrsMac1489 I'm glad it's getting lighter, it's heading in the right direction then
I got told to test two weeks later so it might be another week yet until it gets negative
If you have enough tests you could test every other day?

I was an anxious pregnant lady. The week before my miscarriage I would still do an occasional test and they were soooooo positive. Two great big bright purple lines. PREGNANT!!!

I was expecting similar I think so soon after. But it's okay that it looks like this, because it means we're back on the way to our rainbow.

Ah, the guilt is so intense for wanting to try again so soon.

I have a stash of dipsticks ready to go. I'll test again in a week. Never thought I'd be happy to see a negative test.
