@NelleB that's so interesting about the pill. I came off the pill in Feb last year after our wedding, fell pregnant in June and had MMC in August.

NelleB · 14/01/2018 19:55

@Flatwhite32 oh I'm so sorry that it happened to you too. It's awful x

DaisyMay25 · 14/01/2018 20:08

@peachesarenom that sounds like a great plan
Just focus on you for a bit and when you're ready to start again we're all here

I still have zero idea what my body is doing I'm just spotting with clots really no real AF blood properly, anyone else experienced this?

BrokenBaubles · 14/01/2018 20:11

Thanks everyone who's shared their support. It's not over! Back to bleeding, blummin painful cramps and clots. I've decided I'm done with being brave and am not going back to work until the bleeding has stopped. Having the cramps at the office and horridness on my commute home has been a wake up call that actually this is all horrible and unusual and totally a good reason to be off work.

Kate8989 · 14/01/2018 20:47

I too got pregnant first cycle off the pill, but miscarried sadly. I’m intrigued as to whether there is some sort of connection x

Eastend2015 · 14/01/2018 21:05

Hi ladies just catching up. Bobo noooo!! I really thought this would be your month.

Holly ooo everything crossed! Baubles I hope things improve soon.

Cookiefiend · 14/01/2018 21:23

@BrokenBaubles I'm sorry it hasn't finished. I was going to go into work too- then realised I just couldn't be there with all the bleeding and terrible cramping- I don't know how I thought I
Would pass clots in the office, but I was sos pleased when I had the revelation it was ok to take time off for it. The nurse at the epu said the delayed realisation of the news to she time off work was really common.

Cookiefiend · 14/01/2018 21:24

Sorry @BrokenBaubles I pushed send too soon- I hope it improves soon. Lie in bed and watch something on Netflix. Be kind to yourself and drink fluids.

Flatwhite32 · 14/01/2018 21:33

It is @NelleB. I'm lucky enough to be 13 weeks pregnant again, but I still think about our lost bean every day. Weirdly I was putting away the 12 week scan photos into a folder last week, and the 8 week scan pic of our lost bean floated onto the floor and landed right in front of me. I like to think that was our bean saying hello. I had a little cry! Also, the anxiety that underpins pregnancy following MMC is bloody hard. I can't even bear to download a pregnancy app or anything.

Flatwhite32 · 14/01/2018 21:34

@peachesarenom lovely to hear from you. I've been thinking about you. There is no right or wrong time to start TTC really. Everyone is different. Tommy's and the MC Association have been hugely helpful to me. I hope they are for you too. Xx

Boboelephant · 14/01/2018 21:42

Sorry you got a bfn @NoCats but glad you at least enjoyed a few drinks out.
@peachesarenom I think that sounds like a brilliant plan. I'm taking the month off too so we can try and relax and lose some weight together! Then hopefully bam- pregnant- when we're back!
@DaisyMay25 so sorry. No advice but hope it sorts itself out.
@BrokenBaubles oh no! So sorry it's still going. You absolutely need to take the time off and allow yourself to heal. You've been through a trauma. I second cookiefiend- jist chill out and be kind to yourself.
@Eastend2015 yeah it sucks! I was really hoping for it too. Ah well, at least I'm going on holiday soon!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 14/01/2018 21:49

That's interesting @NelleB I conceived 3 cycles post pill and lost that one to MMC.

@BrokenBaubles don't feel bad about staying off work longer. My mc finally completed on the Wednesday and I stupidly tried to go into work on the Friday, still bleeding and weak. I lasted about an hour. Take all the time you need to rest and heal properly.

sending hugs your way @baubles
fx for a clearer bfp today @holly
oh @daisy, this is day 4 for me and af hasn't started too. just spotting weirdly, stupid body. really want it to come and get over it

Mimilicious013 · 15/01/2018 04:59

sorry for af @bobo, enjoy your break and gl for March
hie @running, sorry you find yourself here
glad you enjoyed your drink @nocats
has af come your way @cookie?lt seems like this month it's playing tricks on a number of us.
@peaches, hope the break does you good hun
@flat and @thegrumpy, enjoy every minute and take good care of yourselves

NelleB · 15/01/2018 05:44

@Flatwhite32 I can only imagine what you're going through and it must be so tough. I think you're completely normal in what you're doing. 13 weeks is brilliant! I hope you 12 week scan gave you some reassurance as well. I'm in my tww and using IC at 11 dpo as I know they're rubbish so if I am pregnant I don't get my hopes up until after AF. It's the only thing I can use as I had 3 strong FRERS last time and then 7 days later nothing.
I hope you have a wonderful 6 months ahead and you get to enjoy your journey x

NelleB · 15/01/2018 05:57

@TheGrumpySquirrel maybe there is more too it. So sorry for your loss it's horrendous having to go through it x

Cookiefiend · 15/01/2018 07:01

@Mimilicious013 no still no AF this morning, but a little brown spotting. AF should have come last Tuesday so I'm thinking maybe my cycle is a bit messed up- it was my first one since the mc. Did that happen to anyone else?

Cookiefiend · 15/01/2018 11:08

Scrap that! AF has begun- which is oddly a relief as I had no idea what was happening. Good luck to anyone else still in the game!

Hollymchollyface · 15/01/2018 11:29

Just checking in quickly to say clearer line this morning, so keeping fingers crossed. Will catch up with everyones posts soon xx

Boboelephant · 15/01/2018 11:39

Thanks @Mimilicious013! I hope af arrives properly for you and @daisy so you can stop this frustrating waiting and move on to the next cycle.
@ Cookiefiend sorry the witch got you but glad you now have some normality and can look forward.
@Flatwhite32 I'm sorry it's still so hard for you. Hopefully now you're into the second trimester things will get easier!
Good luck @NelleB!

NelleB · 15/01/2018 12:16

Sitting on my hands as I am desperate to know. Send mental help. I've sent DP to Asda. Going to hold off until Friday if I can

NoCatsHere · 15/01/2018 12:43

holly thats great the line was clearer!
Still no af here, due tomorrow, so if nothing by Wednesday will test again. I’m 13dpo today, only been using ic and it was glowing white on Saturday morning so not hopeful, but I know I’m not officially out just yet!

Hollymchollyface · 15/01/2018 12:50

@peaches do what feels right for you, everyones bodies are different and your plan sounds positive
@baubles taking time off work sounds like a good idea. You need to look afteryourself.
@bobo I hope you manage to relax on your month off. Try to do something nice for yourself if you get a chance.
@daisy and @mimi hope you don't have to wait too much longer. Its so frustrating being in limbo
@cookie, oh no. Sorry af showed up

Hollymchollyface · 15/01/2018 12:56

@Nelle ah friday is ages away. Good luck and fingers crossed !
@nocats, unless I got my dates wrong I didn't get my bfp until 19dpo?l I'm a bit confused about it but you're definitely not out yet so fingers crossed for you x

DaisyMay25 · 15/01/2018 13:25

Still no progress here, if anything the spotting seems to be stopping? Gonna go see the nurse tomorrow I think because this is very unusual. Gonna test again in the morning just in case it's some breakthrough bleeding or something?
