I'm swaying at the moment. I've has a few things like heavy greats and mild uterus cramps where I feel positive but thrn this morning woke up with a chin spot which is usually an indicator af is on her way. 😣

Haha had not has and breasts not greats!! 🤣

So, after my high talk of holding off the test, I tested yesterday afternoon 12dpo. BFN. Not 100% over as I didn't read the instructions properly and realised after that if you test early, you need to do it first thing - but not looking good. AF due tomorrow though, so not too much of a wait.

Another for the test train here, AF due Monday maybe but first cycle post MC so let’s see. Arghh was doing so well and feeling positive then telling a friend has just bought tears to my eyes. FFS!!!

I haven't had any bleeding for the last 2 or 3 days so I took a preggo test hoping it would be negative so I could start trying but it is still saying positive! Shouldn't I still be bleeding if it's positive?

Hi peaches, unfortunately not. I still had a faint positive about 10 days after bleeding had stopped. It can take a while for hormone levels to return to normal.

Eastend2015 oh! Didn't realise that. Did you wait for a negative before starting to try?

Yes- I was told to test a week after I stopped bleeding by EPU, forgot and tested on day 8 which was a faint positive. Got hauled in to check hormones by EPU on day 9, HCG was 2 and had negative test. Had a celebratory shag then used OPKs which showed peak about a week later, that was NYE so waiting to test

Mood suddenly come crashing down to thinking even if I am pregnant it won’t stick anyway. Cross with myself for feeling this way!

@peachesarenom unfortunately not. I only bled for 1 day and took about 2 weeks to get neg. It's up to you but the problem is if you get a positive before getting a negative you won't know if its leftover hcg or a new pregnancy. That said I was having unprotected sex before I got my negative but i did know i wasnt ovulating. I was very lucky that mine was straightforward but a few people on this thread have taken a lot longer for their hcg to disappear.

peaches it took about three weeks after my medical management to get a neg and I think I bled for 10-14 days? Everyone seems to have such different experiences.

Yes I’m on the testing train for fri, period is due Tuesday. Fingers crossed at least some of us get good news this week!

I hope we all get bfp on Friday! Then we could all carry on with the journey together

Hi everyone not sure where to post this but need some advice.
Since my recent early miscarriage I've been monitored at my local early pregnancy unit. My hcg has been hovering around 33-49 for 27 days, going up and down. They have diagnosed a pregnancy of unknown location. I'm seeing the consultant tomorrow for my management plan, the nurse said I would likely be given medicine rather than surgery due to low hcg level.

I have a theory that my infection which led to scar tissue in uterus is also in my tubes. The hysteroscopy cleared the opening slightly allowing sperm to enter for the first time in 2.5 years but the pregnancy got stuck somewhere (a scan couldn't locate the pregnancy but did show some fluid outside the uterus). I think that this would happen every time in the future although I have been lucky that nothing has ruptured. Yet.

Do you think it's sensible to insist on a laparoscopy to locate the pregnancy and check the tubes for scaring (which is what dr in greece advised me to do but my nhs consultant refused as she told me it's IVF or nothing). I'm currently at a different hospital.

The other strange thing is I started my period on Sunday which was cycle day 42, it seems like a normal period. I thought I couldn't have a period until my hcg was 0 again.

To be honest the nurse even told me they didn't know what was going on with me. It's really upsetting and scary.

So AF is due today, but is a no show. I haven't tested yet, because my temp has dropped the last 3 mornings and this morning was under the coverline. AF is inevitable now, isn't it? There's no other reason my temp would be down.

I REALLY don't want to see another BFN, and I don't want to waste a FRER

@AurorasEncore sorry you are going through this. I'm not sure if I can offer much useful advice but I bled before my hcg was at 0 and I think other women on here will say the same. I don't know exactly what my hcg was because I didn't have a blood test but had a strong positive on a pregnancy test and it was still positive for a while after.

Evening all. I'm 4 days into my 2 week wait between scans. Bleeding like a period for 2 days now so it's not looking good. I'm feeling really sad and anxious and being an evil bitch queen to my poor DH. I just want this to be over! And to able to TTC again. I may remove heads at work this week if anyone crosses me! The good news is I managed to move my scan to before my weekend in Paris so I should be able to drink in confidence!
