@Eastend2015 good job on dry Jan. I'm terrible at the moment. I have this mentality of 'if I'm not pregnant I may as well enjoy my wine'. Probably not the best!

@eastend2015 Massively well done on that response. I have no children and am not looking forward to the next time someone asks me about it now that I am trying and have had a mc. Hopefully the more we talk about miscarriage, the more people will be more clued up and sensitiv about asking these questions.

Hi to the new people - so sorry for your losses. Finding this page for me has been really important - and I haven't even posted that much! It is just so good to be able to share some of this with people who understand. I hope you find it helpful too.

boboelephants I'm not sure if I'll be offered one on nhs or not, possibly because I've missed a period so my dates don't work out. My friend's mum works on epu though so I'm going to ask her to scan me around 8 weeks if I'm still going 😊

bobo I’ll defo break by Thursday. I have cheapy pregnancy tests so it’s hard not to think what he heck and test! I’ll probably do one a day from Thursday and if nothing by sat know I’m out for good. I do find a blank bfn hugely disappointing but hey ho.

Love to know what's going on with my cycles before I had the miscarriage in October my cycles where 30 or 31 days long and I ovulated when the apps said. Last month I ovulated 4 days early and the cycle was only 25 days and I have just got an ovulation surge today when it shouldn't be here til Friday. It makes it really difficult to make sure we dtd at the right times as on Saturday it wasn't even a faint line.

Hello everyone. I’m hoping I can join in. I’m new to mn and this is my first post - I have been lurking a while.

I had a mmc in Dec found at my 12 week scan. Had emergency d&c few days after. Since then (17 Dec) still bleeding. Gone back to docs who confirmed potential infection and retained product - the products is too small for another op so I have to wait for this to pass. At the moment I can’t imagine ttc again it’s all still so raw for me but I’m worried about how long it could take to get pregnant again and if I did if it would be successful so feel like I have to try.

Reading others stories helps because it makes me realise I’m not alone. I wish you all luck with ur ttc journeys this month and hope anyone who has had their new bfp that they stick! Xxx

@Poppy8690 that sounds really tough! I'm so sorry it's been dragging on and hope it sorts itself soon so you can start moving forward. Just take care of yourself and try again when you feel ready.

I just had that awful sinking feeling where you feel like a terrible person. A friend just messaged to tell me she's pregnant- due 5 days before what would have been my due date. I am happy for her but so wish I didn't automatically feel gutted. Ahh I just want to cry now.

@Boboelephant thats me constantly so jealous of friends being preg & full of self pity, its like a knot in the stomach - horrible feeling 😢

Test was negative this morning but AF isn't due until Monday so no surprise it was negative really

Yeah @di626 its awful. My biggest fear after not being able to have a healthy pregnancy is becoming a bitter angry person!!!
