I conceived my ds on a month that we only dtd once! We'd been dtd loads on previous months and by this point it was getting stressful and not much fun at all so it was difficult to get in the mood

NoCatsHere · 03/01/2018 21:09

holly those sort of stories make me so happy and hopeful - thank you!!! please more of you tell me you only did it once and conceived! i need hope!!!

And unicorn that was supposed to say i got a neg pregnancy test after three weeks, not new.

di626 · 03/01/2018 21:10

@NoCatsHere i dtd once in march & was lucky in catching 👍

di626 · 03/01/2018 21:14

So ladies had my private gynae app with a diff consultant than before & she was so much more helpful & not dismissive!! She has gave me a script for progesterone & baby aspirin if get bfp - said prog not proven to help everyone but does some & will do no harm. She is putting me on her nhs gynae clinic as says blood tests are so expensive so should have app to get rmc bloods done for me & dh around end feb, will do ultrasound then too & get me an outpatient app to get microscope to check out womb. Says most of time things come back with no reason which is a good thing. Fingers crossed i get bfp before this all needed 🤞🤞🤞

Mom yes no cats I think with DS it was only once at the right time too- a bit of a fuck it never going to conceive anyway?! I’d just accepted a new job and we were about to go on an amazing holiday in Cuba- ended up going at 7 weeks and was sure i’d miscarry the whole time!

Eastend2015 · 03/01/2018 21:21

Ahh that’s so great Di! Can I ask where you went? We had some miscarriage counselling and basic checks at Zita West after my EP and MMC before we conceived DS and it really helped put my mind at rest.

HoneyCake86 · 03/01/2018 21:22

Sounds nice and proactive di! Fx! SmileBrew

di626 · 03/01/2018 21:30

@Eastend2015 aw i live in NI so just a gynae consultant over here.

Eastend2015 · 03/01/2018 21:37

Darn it di! I hope my visit to the RMC will be as successful. Everything crossed for you!

Flatwhite32 · 04/01/2018 07:29

@di626 so glad she was helpful and that there is a plan in place. Xx

Boboelephant · 04/01/2018 07:52

@di626 Im so glad it went well and she was helpful. 👍
@NoCatsHere I've also gotten pregnant only dtd once in about a two week period! My dh response was 'How??' 😂

Hollymchollyface · 04/01/2018 08:47

Haha @bobo that was pretty much what my dh said!

coastalchick · 04/01/2018 12:20

@dia626 - so glad someone is now listening!

di626 · 04/01/2018 12:23

Thanks ladies, glad someone listening to me too lol!! Hopefully now nothing will be wrong as such.

Since my last ovulation which id a chemical i have niggly pain in side that i ov'd from .. anyone ever had this?

Flatwhite32 · 04/01/2018 16:33

@di626 since my MC I have felt the side where I've ovulated from! I get a really sharp pain when it happens.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 04/01/2018 17:18

@di626 I have this. Left is my lucky side Grin Or unlucky. Depends on how you want to look at it!

di626 · 04/01/2018 17:39

Mine is now constant though as if hasnt went away from ov ... even though ive bled with CP since ... wondering if cyst 🤔🤔

Eastend2015 · 04/01/2018 21:20

Hmm worth getting it checked di I think I had a few twinges after EP and MMC but not this time. Maybe just because it was a bit earlier.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 05/01/2018 11:17

Why can't payday be sooner so I can bulk buy all of the tests! Grin

Eastend2015 · 05/01/2018 11:46

Had weird dreams about pregnancy tests last night and seeing lots of confusing positive ones. That’ll teach me to read MN before going to sleep!

DaisyMay25 · 05/01/2018 13:14

For the first time since MC in September I'm feeling positive about things, I don't think BFP will be this month but I've been lingering on a lot of threads on here and got things to try next month like SMEP and preseed so I'm optimistic.
I think I thought I'd get pregnant again straight away so every month I've been angry with myself when I'm not, I thought I would be by now.
Realistically I'm hoping I'll be pregnant by Christmas, give myself a realistic goal!

ek78 · 05/01/2018 13:35

@daisymay25 I can really relate to your experience (after mc in July - that time I got pregnant without trying so presumed it would be easy!). I am adjusting to thinking of this as a longer term project and going easier on myself. Not only was I beating myself up about not getting pregnant but also for symptom spotting and getting carried away. I'm planning to go easier on myself in 2018.

Boboelephant · 06/01/2018 10:28

6dpo... How is everyone going in the 2ww??

DaisyMay25 · 06/01/2018 10:52

@Boboelephant I'm CD20 I think about 5dpo (I may have ovulated a day before) and it's killing me! Gonna take an early test on Wednesday because I can't wait any longer than that! How're you coping?

ek78 · 06/01/2018 11:08

@boboelephant I'm about 10dpo I think. Arghhh! Fingers crossed for everyone.
