@UnicornsandRainbows1 I had my ERPC only 4 days after you so sorry for all the questions but i guess im hoping you may pave the way for me with some answers. It seems to me very strange if this is your af as it's so early but I have no idea what happens to the body after an ERPC! I usually have quite long cycles unfortunately so no idea what the next few months will look like!!

Mimilicious013 · 27/12/2017 05:02

thanks ladies for the warm welcome

hope your scan goes well today @honeycake

@bobo, my period came back late. 6 weeks after mc,l almost convinced myself l was pregnant again.lt was really heavy and long .

@unicorns, anything happening today?

af has just cleared for me so on with the sexathon soon. my fw begins on new years eve .

hope everyone else slept well and you have a great day.

Boboelephant · 27/12/2017 09:31

I think that's what will happen to me @Mimilicious013. The longer it takes to return I'll convince myself I'm the lucky one who got pregnant straight away. And then be gutted when it shows up!
Haha sexathon- that made me laugh! 😂 Happy New year to DP! 🤣

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 27/12/2017 09:39

@Boboelephant Well this is my thinking too, way too Early! My last one took 4 weeks after ERPC to appear, so that was normal as they say between 4-6 weeks. And that was blood-blood, not this weird crap.

@Mimilicious013 It seems to have stopped again, not that it really started. It's starting to give me some weird false hope that it's something else

NoCatsHere · 27/12/2017 10:01

mimi my fw strats nye too! I face nye was when I first conceived exactly a year ago, hoping it’s my lucky night again!

Mimilicious013 · 28/12/2017 04:30

morning y'all
do you have any tricks up your sleeve @cats ?really hope you are lucky a second time around hun.
l can only imagine what you are going through @unicorns.hope you had a good night sleep. did you poas again?
dh loves fw @bobo haha.lm really hoping to nail it soon because the last time took 24 cycles and it had become more of a chore to me. tbh, I don't have that much energy anymore .
how are the pregnant ladies doing? this must be an emotionally tough time but all prayers are with you.

Boboelephant · 28/12/2017 08:48

@Mimilicious013 haha I know what you mean! We ended up getting pregnant the month we dtd every second day throughout the month rather than every day during the fw but I also don't have the energy to keep that up long term! 🤣
So weirdly after just asking questions about this I started bleeding yesterday!? Started as a bit of brown spotting when wiping in the morning and then had a gush of blood about 11pm last night. Tmi sorry but it was like the start of a period, I had to change my knickers. Put a pad on and small amount this morning but seems to have gone back to just tiny bit when wiping. Blood last night was brown. Yesterday was 16 days after erpc and i only bled for a day afterwards and nothing since. DO you think this could be a sign of ovulation? Not sure if I should be getting busy!? @Unicorns are you still bleeding?

HoneyCake86 · 28/12/2017 08:54

My new cycle started today already! AF arrived soon as hcg went to negative. I better get my thyroid meds reviewed asap cos its swung to hyperthyrodism from hypo. 🙄

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 28/12/2017 09:22

Back to the EPU I go for bloods. DH isweirdly optimistic that it's a new pregnancy, or the end of one plus the start of a new one... Idiot... Hmm

Boboelephant · 28/12/2017 11:31

@HoneyCake86 at least it means you can start trying again. I hate waiting for af and not knowing when it should arrive! I don't know anything about hyperthyroidism bit hope all is ok.
@UnicornsandRainbows1 that'd be awesome if he was right! Why have you had to go in? Keep us updated with what they say?

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 28/12/2017 11:46

@Boboelephant Because my test is still positive after 3 weeks. Unfortunately there's a tiiiiny bit of tissue still left so we're waiting for it to pass for now (I have a rescan on the 8th). I was hoping I could give you good news today, or a glimmer of hope.

Boboelephant · 28/12/2017 12:08

@UnicornsandRainbows1 oh I'm so sorry! I so wanted it to be good news for you too! Did they scan you after your erpc? I'm starting to wonder about when they say they got it all as plenty of people seem to have to go back in. Hope it passes quickly for you.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 28/12/2017 13:25

@Boboelephant They didn't as it should've been pretty straightforward. I guess I can't really blame them if that bit is stubborn and tucked away at the top. It probably did appear that they removed everything

Boboelephant · 28/12/2017 14:00

@UnicornsandRainbows1 yes i guess you're right but it makes it so hard for the women to keep dragging it out. When I had mine they basically took out the speculum and did the internal right away before I was off the table. I'm surprised in different areas the NHS don't do the same protocol- especially if it stops people having to come back in. Anyway I hope you and DH are feeling ok.

Mimilicious013 · 28/12/2017 15:32

glad you can start a new cycle @honey.lets hope your period is not too painful.
how are you doing @bobo, was it the start of af too or a false alarm?
am really sorry @unicorns, was really hoping it would be good news too. hope it won't take too long to clear. I was prescribed pills to insert to help clear things up.
well l managed to get dh to dtd this afternoon. hope l can keep up the momentum lol.

HoneyCake86 · 28/12/2017 15:46

Its not bad thanks, feels normal thats the main thing x

Fx things turn out for you @unicornsandrainbows, whichever way it goes xx

Boboelephant · 28/12/2017 18:51

@mimi I think it was just a false alarm. No more bleeding today and I did a hpt and it was negative. So although a crappy one, that's a silver lining. I did read somewhere that the bleeding could be caused by ovulation as the cervix pushes down so can release some old blood. (Or something like that!) If this was a regular cycle the dates do seem right so I'll get bd 'ing and keep my fingers crossed!!

Mimilicious013 · 28/12/2017 19:29

get bd'incg then hun. best of luck í½í¸really hope you can nail it.fx

Mimilicious013 · 28/12/2017 19:30

get bd'incg then hun. best of luck í½í¸really hope you can nail it.fx

Boboelephant · 28/12/2017 19:51

Haha thanks!! Must get on it! Hopefully we both have some luck this month!!

Flatwhite32 · 28/12/2017 19:59

So sorry to all the ladies on here having a shit time SadThanks. Xxx

Mimilicious013 · 29/12/2017 09:11

thanks @flatwhite, how are you doing? bet the days to your 12w scan are dragging. hope all is well.

@bobo, my dtd for today is done. hope you managed to get some. are you using opks or just going with the flow?

hope everyone slept well.

@cats, have you started the marathon yet?

Boboelephant · 29/12/2017 10:23

@mimi great job! 👍 Always good to dtd in the morning but a bit hard with a 2 year old who wakes up first! I havent used opks this time although I was waiting until I got a bfn after the mmc. I guess I could do it now although I forgot this morning. I tend to have a pretty good idea when I ovulate so usually just try and dtd as much as possible during that week. Are you using them? Do you think it matters if I don't use fmu?
My DH feels like I only want to dtd to make a baby so might have to not tell him when I am! 😶

Mimilicious013 · 29/12/2017 10:55

l'm with you about not telling dh about fw.l usually make him think he is irresistible lol and that always works wonders for me . after ttc more than 2years, I don't use opks anymore. just dtd as often as possible from about cd 6 (24 day cycles).

l am sure you can still use your opks because I read somewhere that they are more accurate if done in the afternoon (I think ).
we have a 4year old here and it's pretty hard getting time alone hey.

Boboelephant · 29/12/2017 11:24

@mimi Haha men!! Yes I did a bit of that last night! 😂 Yeah we were trying for about a year after my ectopic and so I only used opks a couple of times. They seemed to confirm when I thought I was anyway. I had one upstairs so just used it but still says neg. I will keep dtd anyway as they don't count the whole fw before and I'm going to keep believing that started Wed. I feel like I do just before ov, back pain, increased cm etc. I have 34 day cycles so it seems forever when ttc.
Haha yes. They are brilliant but defi a barrier to time alone!
