Just got a faint BFP on a FRER 3/4 days before AF is due. Very tentatively celebrating after a loss two months ago. Praying for a sticky baby!

Miscarriage was confirmed for me last night, hormone is extremely low now, near negative. Been constantly cramping still so going to a scan on 27th to check for RPOC. Feeling quite unwell in myself, the whole process has left me drained of energy. Looking forward to getting some normality back xx

Poor hubby i had a good cry to him yesterday so def has made me feel a bit better getting it out though how i wish things were so much different.

Sorry for everyone feeling down. It is a tough time of year when you're wishing you were pregnant and you're not. I should have been 12 weeks yesterday which was depressing. Or had a 6 month old! Here's to bfps soon!! 🤞🤞

@di626 I've had a bit of a that today but trying to just carry on through the day. I may have to drink all the wine which I wouldn't do but I just don't care today. DH has already said that he'll look after me during the day but I'll need to do the same when he loses it in the evening. Poor love, he's really trying to get through it

Hello just thought I’d introduce myself.
Had a very drawn out process with mmc - at 11 weeks on 20/11 after spotting for 2 weeks found out I had a sac but no baby. Since then I have had a haemorrhage and hospital admission and a total of 6 internal scans to see if I have passed all of the tissue. Last scan was 20/12 which showed I still had a small amount to pass and was told this should pass with my next period. I am waiting until after my next period to ttc to make sure that this miscarriage has truly completed but has anyone else had a similar experience?

hope l can be a late comer. lt took us 24 cycles to get that most wanted bfp, only to have a mc at 12 weeks in September. l was so heartbroken but I think I have the heart to finally ttc once again.

Im in a similar boat but with a 6-weeker. Got my scan tomorrow but the hormone is almost negative now and the cramps are finally subsiding. So i just need a check that im clear and healthy then waiting for my next period to try again xx

Well bleeding has started again, although minimal and with ewcm (I don't get it) so I'm guessing this is a very slow start to AF

Thank you Mimi and Honey, I’m sorry to hear of your losses too Christmas is bloody tough when you are dealing with pregnancy loss and I am thinking of you all. It’s also nice to have somewhere to talk about it too.

I was told by one nurse to wait until after first period and another said to wait 3-4 months. Not really sure what advice to follow.

@Sictransitgloria welcome to the group. So sorry you've had such a drawn out process. Sounds really tough!
@Mimilicious013 that's so hard!! Hopefully you will fall quickly this time! I'm clinging to the hope that you are more fertile after mc.
@UnicornsandRainbows1 sorry you have started to bleed although hopefully this is a sign your body is getting back on track. Do you normally have short cycles?

@UnicornsandRainbows1 my first cycle lasted forever after d&c in dribs & drabs - i remember saying to hubby it was longest period in world!!

@di626 when did you get your period after d&c? Did it come quickly and then last ages ? I have no idea when to expect mine!

@Boboelephant I got mine 26/27 days after my ERPC. I think I had some retained product though as the bleeding was much heavier than normal. Not everyone gets that though. X

@Boboelephant i got mine 31 days after d&c & that was even gettin lines on peeg test about 3 weeks after ... it did last about 10 / 12 days between spotting before & after & heavy enough flow in between

I hear stories of people getting AF anywhere from 2 weeks to 8 weeks after and I find the unknowing the hardest!

@Boboelephant weirdly it was only around 2-3 days, but very very heavy. I then spotted quite a bit afterwards though.

@Boboelephant Well it seems to be brown still, coming out with cm and not really like a normal AF (even with my light af the 1st time I mc, it was obvious it was AF still). My normal cycles are 28 days (after mc they were still very near 28). Each 'phase' is normal length too (ovulate became closer to it's normal timing each month, L.P. was around 12 dpo). It's pretty textbook in a way
