@Flatwhite32 If it helps, I deactivated it soon after so have no idea what happened Grin

@di626 Had a bit of a moment where I had to take 5 seconds to myself outside (and sobbed of my manager whilst she gave me a quick hug cuz I'm classy). But I guess I went back in (dleft my bag there anyway) and I guess one of the hardest bits are done so I can only go forward now

@Boboelephant we can be crazy together as I've done that today, because somehow I'll magically get pregnant and it'll be fine and make it all better Hmm class A idiot right here

Boboelephant · 15/12/2017 21:28

It's a deal @UnicornsandRainbows1. Class A idiots together.

Flatwhite32 · 15/12/2017 21:31

@Boboelephant I started to bleed 26 days after my ERPC, and even more weird was that the day before that AF arrived, I was still getting a faint BFP from the leftover HCG! As a result, I'm still not convinced that first bleed was even a period, as I thought it was impossible to have a period with a positive pregnancy test, even though it was mega faint. I also bled loads and loads, and I do wonder now if it was maybe retained blood or something.

My main weird symptom after my ERPC was feeling completely 'hormone-less' afterwards. I had no sore boobs, no AF pains, no hormonal greasy hair etc. It was so odd. My body felt completely 'flat' in that respect. I even went to the GP about it as I honestly hadn't felt like that since starting my period age 13! My periods only lasted two days too, and I also had a lot of spotting in between periods, which I'd never had before either. However, despite me being convinced that something was amiss I have now learned that weird symptoms don't necessarily mean anything, as I was extremely lucky and conceived on cycle 3 after my ERPC. Of course my stress and anxiety has now transferred itself in a big way on to this pregnancy! Like you, I was googling getting pregnant after ERPC. It's difficult not to, as the frustration of having to start all over again is so overwhelming. I hope you don't have to wait too long for AF. X

Boboelephant · 15/12/2017 21:48

Thanks for your support @Flatwhite32. I do hope I'm as lucky as you to conceive within 3 months and I hope yours continues healthily!
I am the opposite in terms of bleeding but it's still stressing me out. I have hardly bled at all. A tiny bit immediately after surgery but it was already brown the next morning only visible when wiping and nothing at all since. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad sign! Does this sound unusual? x

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 15/12/2017 21:54

@Boboelephant Mine is like this. It's 99% non existent now which is much nicer than my previous surgery Smile I'm pretty sure it's a good thing

Boboelephant · 15/12/2017 22:00

@UnicornsandRainbows1- great to hear. Thankyou. 🤞 for both of us.

Flatwhite32 · 16/12/2017 09:57

I think I perhaps bled a lot @Boboelephant because I reached 12 weeks. Maybe that isn't medically correct, but it could be a reason why.
This is a really horrible thing to do, but pregnancy testing is the only way to confirm if all the hcg has left your system. I absolutely hated doing it (started at 2 weeks post ERPC), but it did help by 'confirming' everything.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 16/12/2017 11:04

Same as Flatwhite, I found out at 12 weeks last time and had so much bleeding, but I think it's because the sac grew for a few weeks after the baby passed so there was a lot of blood going there and then of course not really getting used. Though this time I took a test a few days before the surgery and also Thursday and the difference is huge already. There's still an obvious line but it's not as dark as the control line which I'm guessing is good for something so soon

Boboelephant · 16/12/2017 19:33

Thanks @Flatwhite and @Unicorns. I have bought some pregnancy tests to do that but it feels weird to be wishing for a negative! Maybe how far along you are does make a difference with the bleeding. How far along were you this time @UnicornsandRainbows1? So sorry you've had to go through this rubbish twice! Glad that your line is fading. I didnt think to ask the EPU what my HCG was so no idea how far I have to drop.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 16/12/2017 19:43

@Boboelephant I have no clue about my hcg levels but I'd imagine they were quite high still. I was 11wks (just shy of 12) by the time I had the surgery but found out at 9+2 weeks (baby and sac seemed to have stopped by 8+1/8+2).

Maybe do a test every week that the surgery was on until you're over the 3 week mark. My ward said to test at 3 weeks post op but I'd rather just know as soon as it's negative so I'll do another on Friday when I'll be two weeks gone

Hollymchollyface · 16/12/2017 20:16

Thanks for the welcome, and sorry you're all here too.
I've been too scared to test since my mc. I don't know if it would be worse if its negative or positive but I suppose good to know that your body has gone back to normal.

SantaBaby1 · 17/12/2017 12:16

9dpo here and bfn on an IC. Probably too early to have tested - don’t know why I do this to myself!
Having back pains, weird twinges, creamy CM and woke up this morning feeling sick.
I’ve been really emotional (and struggling with a friends pregnancy announcement as she is one of the few people who knew about my miscarriage in July - I’m so happy for her but had to come home and cry as I just so want to be pregnancy again sad) That makes it the 3rd pregnancy announcement in 2 weeks!

AF is due 22/12. What a Christmas present this would be!

Flatwhite32 · 17/12/2017 15:43

@SantaBaby1 I was getting BFNs on ICs when I had a BFP on FRER and a BFP on a cheap brand you can buy at the Coop. ICs took ages to show a BFP for me, and when they did it was really faint. Might be worth getting a stick test, as your symptoms sound promising! X

SantaBaby1 · 17/12/2017 16:17

FlatWhite32 I have heard this about the IC! I guess they are a good cheap option for POAS addicts but I am sceptical of how early they could give me an accurate result.. I think I might pick up some FRERS tomorrow and then take one Tuesday morning - that would be 11dpo - hopefully something would show on a FRER by then?

NoCatsHere · 17/12/2017 20:30

Yes santa maybe a frer would be better and should show by 11 dpo I should think. I’m 8 dpo tomorrow and itching to test. I really need to try and hold out until xmas eve when I’m going for drinks with friends... we’ll see if I manage it. oh god wouldn’t it be a wonder xmas present!!! I can’t bear the hope.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/12/2017 20:33

Ooh good luck @NoCatsHere and @SantaBaby1 !!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/12/2017 20:34

I did a FRER at 8dpo white as snow only to get a line at 10dpo. Don't waste your money. The waiting is so hard!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/12/2017 20:36

I got 2-3 weeks on a digital yesterday (4+0). Time is going sooooo slowly. I don't have plans to test again until 5.5/6 weeks and hopefully get a 3+. Feel very normal still 😬

OP posts:
UnicornsandRainbows1 · 17/12/2017 20:36

Well I'm not officially in the tww because I have no OPKs and I doubt I've ovulated in 5 seconds but screw it, maybe something will happen before my first AF (if I do even ovulate before which I highly doubt) so now we wait

no I don't care for my health apparently

NelleB · 17/12/2017 20:51

Hello everyone,
I’m currently experience my first ever chemical pregnancy. Had three positive tests last week and ended up at a and e last night with heavy bleeding and I’m no longer pregnant, post blood test...

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 17/12/2017 20:54

@NelleB Im really sorry youre going through this. How are you doing post a&e?

NelleB · 17/12/2017 22:18

@UnicornsandRainbows1 I'm ok thanks, I've had some big cries and now just trying to be positive and thinking it's a bump in the road to baby town... I've seen lots of positive comments from people who have conceived after a chemical pregnancy, which is helpful.

Flatwhite32 · 18/12/2017 07:06

@TheGrumpySquirrel I could have written your post at 4 weeks! I got 2-3 at 4 weeks, retested at just over 5 weeks and got 3+. I'm 9 weeks today (and bricking it, as this is when I lost the last one), and have vomited and felt exhausted most days since last Monday, and that was only at 8 weeks! Before that I just had sore boobs, and at 4 weeks I didn't feel pregnant at all. Most people moan about pregnancy symptoms. I'm actually pleased to have them, sickness and all. Miscarriage makes you grateful for every little symptom (although I had symptoms last time, so I'm not 100% reassured). Xx

@UnicornsandRainbows1 We started trying 2 weeks after my ERPC, even though I was still getting a BFP so I knew Pregnancy was impossible. As long as you're not bleeding, it's perfectly safe (said my GP when I asked her!) so whoever said you don't care for your health is speaking crap! Xx

@NelleB Welcome and so sorry for your loss and having to go to A&E. You'll find very lovely ladies and great support on here. Xx

SantaBaby1 · 18/12/2017 07:17

Currently at the stage where I’m thinking ‘I had better be pregnant because otherwise I just feel like shit for no reason’ - but do we overanalyse because we are so desperate to be pregnant?
•nausea
•heartburn
•vivid dreams last night
•back and stomach cramps over the last few days

Tested again this morning on IC - BFN. I’m 10dpo so could just be too early to show on the cheap tests. Think I want to buy some FRER.

I’m feeling really down about it all to be honest. I should have been nearly 28 weeks by now and looking forward to a Christmas in my home town with my family. Instead I’m anxious, symptom spotting, achingly jealous of anyone who is pregnant and probably going to spend the whole holiday period answering the question ‘when are you two going to have a baby?’ Sad

2017 can go fuck itself Angry

Flatwhite32 · 18/12/2017 07:32

@SantaBaby1 I got a BFN on an IC at 11/12 DPO but a BFP on a FRER. If you have a Coop near you they do a cheap brand which is more reliable than ICs. Good luck! Really hope this is your month, along with @NoCatsHere. Xx
