December Bus - Christmas Wishes

Hi all,

I’ve decided to take the plunge and make a December Bus. I know it’s still early in Nov but for those of us whose cycles fall early in the month it’ll be nice for us to have a new thread!

TTC #1
Cycle: 2

Had so many symptoms in October (unusual for my regular AF) so felt so disappointed when it wasn’t meant to be.

Anyway let’s hope December is our month and hope for that Christmas surprise!

Another BFN here this morning too Soph - fx you get a BFP soon (or AF hurries up at least)
Hoping I get AF (or a BFP of course ) before this weekend as have a big family party and want to know whether or not to drink... Had my progesterone bloods done this morning (bit late as i think I'm 9ish dpo as 7 fell over the weekend) so hopefully I'll at least know if I'm ovulating.

I have my Christmas party on Saturday and i'll be 10dpo. Is it too soon to test on Saturday morning with FRER because i also want to know if i can have a bevvy or not, i've told my friend i might be driving (with a lame excuse that i'll have to be up early Sunday morning) but she needs to know that day! Fx to everyone testing before!!! Xxx

TTC #2 for 6 months, currently around 5dpo I think.

@Funkyemzie - if you use a FRER it may pick it up at 10dpo however if it doesn't and you get your BFP a couple of days later I wouldn't worry too much. Maybe consider not drinking a lot but a few will not hurt :)

Hey guys I'm TTC #1 and on first cycle I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot but it's so difficult.
I'm about 11 days post ovulation (I think) and have been getting a different, pulling kind of cramp behind my belly button and lots of heart burn (which I never ever normally get).
Statistically I know its unlikely I'll get BFP first month particularly as DH has delayed ejaculation (sorry TMI) so we only managed to finish off DTD a couple of times during the week before I ovulated but I hope we might have timed it right.
AF is due on Friday but I always get a couple of days spotting the two days before so we'll see if that shows up tomorrow. I'm trying to be very good and won't test till Friday morning (if AF doesn't come first) but it's so difficult! Good luck everyone

Soooo no AF yet....but I can feel the tiniest hint of cramping so it'll be here this evening right on time. On to cycle 4, so annoying! I knew this wouldn't be our month but drs and teachers (from school days) lead you to believe that if you so much as think of having unprotected sex, you absolutely will get pregnant. I spent years shitting myself if I missed even one pill 🙄 Ah well, at least I can have a winey cheesey christmas

I will eat my hat if flo doesn't turn up in the next few days. Im grumpy, crampy and starving!!

@ImpatientMammy. No not poas yet but I'm going to in the morning. I wasn't going to until flo was missed but I think I've done well to wait until what will be cd27 lol.

One more day and you'll have done it try hold off you've done amazing x

Someone said (can't remember if on this thread or another) 'it ain't over til the red lady flows' so I'm clinging onto that!

Feeling much better after the ups and downs of coil removal! I have endo so think it just messed with me a bit. So glad to see all the BFPs!! I think I ovulated early, had all the symptoms but didn't match up with ovia and didn't do any opks. Just need to patiently wait now and get the good vibes on here!

Hi ladies, hope you are all well and happy.

Quick question: can any of you remember how frequent you BD'd the month you got pregnant? Did you do it everyday or every other day? Is morning or night best?

I'm worried if we only do it every other day, We’ll miss the right time when I'm ovulating.
I’m on CD9

@Seathrift I think we must have only BD'd once the month DS was conceived as my OH was away and we got an extremely lucky surprise. I'm sure I won't be so lucky this time round x

Ff worked af due date based on a 28 day cycle but i ovulated 2 days later than usual, so my af due date might not be til friday now (im 11dpo). My luteal phases have always been 14 days bang on til now, think i’ll just have to wait n see when af turns up. Think ive caught somekind of virus or something, got alot of flu-type pain all over my body. So im off to bed shortly to try n sleep it off 😷 hope everyones had a good day xx

@Seathrift. I am an every other dayer. From cd4 to the time flo shows up we dtd every other day! It worked for us in November 2015 and July 2017 (that ended in mc but that's irrelevant)

@ImpatientMammy. I like seeing the bfps, even if they aren't my own.

@sophherts I'm glad I manage to make sense sometimes!

I feel like a big hog today. I've eaten practically non stop lol.

A few people have said they where coming down with something just before BFP it might just be the time of year but fx @HoneyCake86 x

I have felt really awful today, i went off my food til bout 2 hours ago with my dinner and only just managed to eat that. Which is unusual cos i love filling my face. DP gave DS a bag of bacon crisps earlier and the smell (like chicken carcass thats been left out for a while) nearly made me hurl. I know theres alot going around the school i hope i haven’t picked anything dodgy up.
