December Bus - Christmas Wishes

Hi all,

I’ve decided to take the plunge and make a December Bus. I know it’s still early in Nov but for those of us whose cycles fall early in the month it’ll be nice for us to have a new thread!

Cycle: 2

Had so many symptoms in October (unusual for my regular AF) so felt so disappointed when it wasn’t meant to be.

Anyway let’s hope December is our month and hope for that Christmas surprise!

@AJ89 ooo interesting what do you mean bizarre, did you feel bloated or pains etc?

Oh man! I think I might be out already! I am a bit crampy and I have had a spot come up :-( period due this time next week.

@gem173 I followed it until it said skip a day after ovulation and try once more (didn’t do that last one). Was so tired lol. Baby dust to you!!! Hope you get your bfp. X

@fruitandnutty I don’t know just felt different in myself. Hard to explain. I have been constantly bloated but that’s normal for me before af. One thing that was noticeable is that I’ve actually had feeling in my boobs, they have been sore (usually I have no feeling whatsoever). Had twinge pains in my right side about 3 days ago, maybe implantation? Getting mild cramps and my cervix is high and closed.

Oh plus I’ve broke out in loads of tiny pin point spots on my lower face

@AJ89. Ooh hope for me! I have Just got a few little spots on my jawline! I usually get whoppers on my cheeks! Maybe I'm not out after all.

Oh wow congratulations AJ!! I'm on cd 10 today and it's our first go at SMEP this cycle. Not that I've told my DH haha! I don't want to put too much pressure on him, he knows we need to dtd lots but I'm not telling him the specifics of it. Last cycle he couldn't 'perform' at one point and it was the first time that's ever happened to him - purely psychological now that we're trying to conceive.

I'll be due AF/BFP on 23rd December.

Congrats @Aj89! Super news :) I'm also following the SMEP so fx. I too will not be following the skip a day and dtd again (DP away with work) so hoping I have the same luck as you! Congrats again!

Ahhh it's nice to see everyone feeling positive. I spent last nights shift trawling the baby making corner of the internet and now I'm just shattered 😂 off on our hols now so that should kill a week of the 2ww think I'll try a few more goes of BDing just in case in the mean time. Can't wait to see more of your BFPs to keep me going x

What is this sperm meets egg plan?

SMEP from what I understand is dtd every other day from CD8 until positive OPK then dtd day of, day after, skip a day, then dtd one more time! I kind of did a variation of this this month although some consecutive days leading up to OPK. Feeling hopeful this month, but equally don’t want to get hopes up!

You start on cd 8 and dtd every other day until you get a positive opk.. so cd 8, 10, 12 etc. Then when you get a positive opk you dtd three days in a row. Then skip the fourth day, and dtd on the fifth day. And then you're done!

May not work for me this cycle, but I'm hopeful as I've heard a lot of good things about it. Ensures you dtd at the right time

My pregnancy symptoms are bizarre and atypical (but they were with my 1st!) I never get sore boobs. I am more gassy (lots of silent burps). Slight food aversions too. That’s it though. If like last time I’ll probably feel sick in a week or 2!

Sparkles i keep thinking a see a hint of a shadow but i dont know if my eyes are playing tricks on me. Just keep going hopefully itll appear darker if its there, in the next couple days. Good luck!!

On smep why do they tell you to keep dtd days after you've ovulated??surely it's pointless then? We dtd most days anyway but just wondering why?

Guys I know I've said already but I had my coil out Tuesday, posative OPK yesterday, then got up from a 4 hour drive small amount of light red blood in knickers. Early period? I hope not I have noo pads or tampons not due on for 2 weeks 🤦🏻‍♀️ x
