December Bus - Christmas Wishes

Hi all,

I’ve decided to take the plunge and make a December Bus. I know it’s still early in Nov but for those of us whose cycles fall early in the month it’ll be nice for us to have a new thread!

Cycle: 2

Had so many symptoms in October (unusual for my regular AF) so felt so disappointed when it wasn’t meant to be.

Anyway let’s hope December is our month and hope for that Christmas surprise!

Morning! Hope everyone is having a good weekend. How exciting that lots of you are coming up to testing time soon - fingers cfosssd for lots of BFPs!

I think I ovulated yesterday which was the day Flo predicted so I wasn’t expecting it to be right, but we’ve been dtd every other day and then when my temp spiked this morning we did it again for good measure! Gonna keep an eye on my temps as I’m meant to be going for progesterone bloods a week after ovulation but as my cycles have been long/bit irregular I wasn’t sure when that would be, so hoping temp stays up so I can go for the bloods on the right day! (And just to know that I’m ovulating which would make me so happy as I’ve been worrying that I’m not with all these 42 day + cycles)

@LookingAtTheStars89 thanks for the reassurance. It’s all that bd’ing giving me the uti! Better pay off this month, I’m getting so impatient now and feel like we have done everything we could this month.. now for the tww!

I think there are lots of us due AF/BFP next weekend, so exciting! I hope this week goes quickly for us all x

@FruitandNutty. Yeah, I'm surprised I haven't got one with all of the baby making I've done lately lol. We use conceive plus too which makes it even more likely!

Did anyone suffer from nausea early on like 5 daya before expected period?

Mama it’s possible to get symptoms that early but unlikely! The bean implants around day 6-10 post ovulation and after implantation starts producing HCG which is the hormone that makes you feel sick...it’s producing really tiny amounts for first few days but doubling every 48h. So maybe if you implanted early it’s possible?

We have had an IVF cycle this time so currently incubating 2 x 3 day old embryos. Hoping with everything we have that at least one sticks!

Hi everyone, I've been on the November bus but I'm out now and I wondered if there is a January bus yet as I won't be due til the start of Jan now.

@nk1605 right AF has finally wrapped up, have done two opks today. So on route to a positive!

@Gem173 good luck! I'm cd14 and still no positive so still dtd every other day. Here's hoping this plan works for us both!

Welcome newest newcomers! @RiverRose lots of luck to you. @Trisk don't think there's a Jan bus yet. Next AF/BFP for me will be due 23rd Dec so may well be joining the January bus if we don't pull it off this month!

Going to do SMEP. Currently cd 4 so nearly there

@Babydreaming thanks for your reply. Literally an hour after posting period arrives 5 days early! Well I did have a 21 day cycle for a while then last month it last 27 days. So I thought I was back to normal. Nope
I guess I will be still on this bus for the next 4 weeks

Chucked the cerazette packet out Friday so no idea when I'll be ovulating and so ordered some internet cheapies

So my spotting has finished! Lasted about 48 hours very light very pink and only really when I wiped. Fingers and toes crossed that it's implantation and I have conceived!! This time next week I should know

@mamaiFifi you should still be on the December Bus though! Fingers crossed this cycle is the one x

Just about to enter my fertile week it appears. I started temping at the start of my cycle and no sign yet but the ic opks have started showing a faint line

Well! The only static I got this morning was from the bloody TV! Cd18 now and still stupid flashing smiley! I did a normal opk this morning and there was a faint line on that, I might try one again this afternoon.

CD 26 here I succumbed and bought a FRER and have stashed it at the back of a cupboard. Sitting on hands trying not to POAS!!! I think I'm possibly 7 or 8 dpo. When is the earliest you can test!? If it doesn't work this month, I'll be ordering some OPKs.

Oh lookingatthestars how frustrating for you 😩 i was quietly hoping youd have got your static over the weekend.

My OPK is completely negative again now with no more fertile cm so officially in the 2ww. Think i will take it as it comes. I have xmas shopping to do and other things so hopefully my mind will be kept busy so i don’t do the obsessive testing lol

Aph fingers crossed for you! I use ic’s and i got a positive 2 days after the first faint line appeared so hopefully not much longer. Good luck xx

@HoneyCake86 Ha Ha yes, definitely a scream into the pillow moment! On a better note, I just did a ic opk and the line was a bit darker and that was with a 2hr30 hold with slightly concentrated pre so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

@spydie I bought some the other day too. Don't wanna waste them because they're like gold but also dying to know! I am CD24 about 8dpo due on in 4 days so might do around Wednesday or wait till the weekend if I can!

@sparklesdontshine don’t be disheartened - you’re not out yet! The embryo implants 6-10 days post ovulation and that’s when it makes the hormone detected by pregnancy test.even then it can take a few days to reach levels detectable by the test! I’d leave it a few days :)
