So before I ask this question: 🚨TMI KLAXON! 🚨

So DH & I dtd last night. Have just noticed stretchy, clear cm. I could stretch it between my finger tips for at least a couple of centimetres.

How can you tell the difference between semen & EWCM? As it was clear, stretchy & not cloudy would you assume it was EWCM?

The things you ask strangers on the internet,eh?!

Well ladies looks like my journey is over. Went for early scan (due to late loss in summer) and I’m measuring much less than I should, not holding out much hope.... this ttc and pregnancy thing isn’t for the faint hearted!
Think we might call it a day now too.....

Haha @yellowfrontdoor! Major TMI here, but I find that I can always smell semen! It's not a bad smell, but it definitely, erm, has one.
Semen is also cloudy. Omg can't believe I just said that!

yellow yes i would say cm as man stuff is pretty cloudy 🙈 lol

Arghhhhh.... My opks were darking from cd 9- 11 now cd 12 & 13 are getting lighter, I normally ovulate around cd 13/14 and im cd 13 today. 😐 🤔 strange!

Oh weasle I am so very sorry. My heart breaks for you. Do you have a date for a second scan...is that what they will do? Sending huge hugs to you, it is just so very unfair. I'm so sorry. X

Next Monday is scan, decided if it’s not good news then no more ttc for us. We have 2 healthy children and I’m so grateful for that. I can’t keep hearing bad news all the time, not good x

Weasel I’m so sorry to read your update. Hoping and praying for you that all looks okay at the next scan. Constant bad news is so draining and stressful, i get it, it’s hard on the soul 💗 thinking of you x

Blue are you OPK ing twice a day? I’ve had this happen with an initial darkening then not a real positive till over a week later! So frustrating.

I don’t know how I’ll be able to not drink in the TWW this month. My boss is over from America and it will be too early to test. We have two work dinners.. the second one with more people so I could maybe get away with it. But I’ll definitely have to have 1-2 glasses of wine at the first one. I’m worried that alcohol is stopping me conceiving / implanting as I’ve not been able to have a totally sober TWW yet for various reasons since the miscarriage and now I’m on cycle 6. Coincidence?

If I ovulate on cd15 (at the early end for me) then I’ll be 9dpo on the day of the first dinner. So potentially could test with a FRER? Really hoping my acupuncturist can bring ov forward a few days - it was cd21 last month and I went spare!!

This happened to me when I was first TTC @BlueeSpottyTiger but it was because my wee was too diluted. Is that a possibility?

I was hoping to start DTD tonight, but I've had a horrible headache all day (which I'm pretty sure is from caffeine withdrawal) so it'll have to wait. OPK is negative, and I'm on CD 8, so hopefully waiting another day won't matter. Got my hormone bloods tomorrow. Already nervous about the results!

weasledee I'm so sorry to read your update. I hope the doctors are wrong but it's good to be realistic about it ❤️

yellow I asked a nurse at my fertility clinic and she said semen soaks into tissue paper but ewcm just lays on top

Oh I meant to say, the best time to get a positive OPK is in the evening as your body naturally synthesises LH in the morning. I found I got strong positives in the evenings even with very diluted wee. CBA with all the peeing on things anymore though so I’m just shagging (and temping)

@weasledee I'm so sorry to hear the scan didn't go well. I was keeping an eye out on the June thread and was so hoping for good news for you.... :( What weeks are you?
I have an NHS early scan booked for couple weeks at 7 + 1 and I'm so worried it'll be bad news again.

I opk 4 times a day. This has never happened before looking back over previous months (i keep them in a notepad- Eww). Must be because of the mc.

I just don't stick them all in my book unless they go lighter or darker than the previous ones

Well we're with my parents in fw and making time for DTD is as awkward as expected!!

Oh weasledee. There's nothing o can really say but I'm so so sorry.

Flashing smiley here on CD 9! Seems a bit early, but will just go with it and start DTD from tonight. I just know I'm going to ovulate (that's if I am actually ovulating) while at my parents' place! The timing is SO annoying. I doubt DH will be able to, erm, perform, as he won't feel relaxed! And neither will I! Having bloods done at 11.20 today to check hormones.

So it’s here, my first due date.
It’s weird, I’m not really sure how to feel. DH & I had our first counselling session yesterday & I feel like we got so much out that I feel a bit numb today.
I think what’s helping is that I’m mid-cycle & possibly near ovulation rather than in AF misery, I always feel hopeful at this time in the month.
It just feels surreal that I was even pregnant twice. Sometimes it feels like it happened to someone else.

I just want a healthy baby & I’m hoping 2018 will be all our years.

Yellow, it must be horrible, im dreading my first due date at start of December & like you have had 2 losses & hoping 2018 is our year.
