@UnicornsandRainbows1 unfortunately the dreaded phone call came and my pregnancy hormone in my Beta HCG test had dropped to level 2 so confirmed an early miscarriage. I am very upset and so is my partner as I thought we had done it! Just trying to take each hour and day now as it comes

No more bleeding thankfully. Being a teacher I can't rush to the toilet when I want, so I've been really paranoid all day. Today involved the following at work though:

A 'guess the weight and sex of xxxxxx's baby'. This girl is due a month after our first one would have been.

Another colleague had a good 12 week scan this morning and told everyone.

Why do these things ALWAYS happen at the worst possible time?!

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining you! ... My background ...

TTC 2 yrs
Found out I was pregnant on Sunday evening (another test on Monday morning to confirm)
Doctor said she made me 5 weeks pregnant Tuesday
Spotting followed by bleeding with clotting started yesterday and went to urgent care and gynae unit today and just waiting for the final call but so far they believe it is a mc (or failed pregnancy as they called it)

I feel heartbroken and can't even begin to imagine how anyone must be feeling who carried for a long time!
Trying to stay positive and brought pregnacare vitamins just worried how long it will take again to conceive

Hi everyone can I join you? Firstly I'm sorry to all of you for what you're going through. My background is:

Age 31
TTC #1
Conceived on cycle 5 of TTC in September and found out at 11+4 I had a blighted ovum MMC earlier this month. I had a D&C two and a half weeks ago.

It was all so recent and I am still emotional and coming to terms with what happened. At the same time I am very keen to conceive again. I think I may have ovulated yesterday or the day before (based on a small amount of EWCM) - although maybe I'm being too hopeful.

Unicorns I understand. I have massive ptsd and health anxiety that has flared up since my miscarriage (was in & out of A&E for 3 days). I don't know how I'll cope next time I'm pregnant (if there is a next time). Thinking of you and flat at this difficult time x

I've given up all hope. No children, and I don't know if I will keep trying after this as it's just too much. The stress is killing me. Have barely eaten since Monday.

HCG levels can vary so much in the early days, I don't think you can infer that x
