Hi @Zoo33, PM me the email address you use for Facebook and I'll add you to the group. Glad you're feeling a little more positive. Xx

Flatwhite32 · 13/11/2017 21:14

I've been taking 50mg a day @LookingAtTheStars89 which is the recommended dose on the bottle the tablets are in.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/11/2017 21:15

Still no AF so stupidly hopeful again. Despite a gazillion negative early detection tests Hmm what is life!

Oh, could I please join the Facebook group too @Flatwhite32?

Absolutely @PineapplePrincess! Just PM me the email address you use for FB, and I'll add you. It's a secret group, so your FB friends won't know you're in it, and won't see your posts.

Zoo33 · 13/11/2017 21:45

Thanks @Flatwhite32. I’ve just messaged you (never sent a PM before so let me know if I’m managed to stuff it up). X

Martydog · 14/11/2017 06:48

My pregnancy care tablet from Superdrug only has 1.4 mg of b6 and it says that's 100% nrv

TheGrumpySquirrel · 14/11/2017 10:15

Another bfn this morning and just started pink spotting (14dpo) so I’m out 😔

Ah man having such a tearful day, have private appointment this eve with regards m/c’s to see if they will do testing on any reasoning behind them. Feeling sorry for myself that i have to go at all & on top of that be out the money for these things & other people seem to get it so easy 😪.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 14/11/2017 12:20

I’m taking 60mg of B6 in a B complex by the way (just checked the bottle this morning).

Thought I was going to throw up when picking my daughter up from school today. One of the kids grandparents came running across the playground saying "Your Mummy' s had the baby". I've had to watch this pregnant woman waddle across the playground since the start of September and I know it sounds ridiculous but my heart sank.
Don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge her all but I was supposed to be waddling across the playground now. It took me all my time not to cry on the walk home :'-( x

BlueeSpottyTiger · 14/11/2017 16:35

Aww Looking :( that's tough! Poor you xxx

Flatwhite32 · 14/11/2017 18:46

Those of you with early BFPs, have you had, or will you be getting, the flu jab? I got a letter about it when I was pregnant before, but then threw it out when I had the MMC. I'm really paranoid about it causing a miscarriage, even though that's probably extremely unlikely.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 14/11/2017 19:00

flatwhite i will do but after my booking appointment around 9weeks ish. I have my appointment on the 6th or the 13th.
I've just booked a private scan for the 22nd of December when I'll be 10+2 as baby died last time at 9+5 even though i didn't find out until my 12 week scan. I need the reassurance! Xx

Juancornetto · 14/11/2017 19:10

So sorry you're out this month Grumpy Sad

And solidarity fistbump looking you did better than me not crying in public, I did big ugly face, streaky mascara crying when I was walking home yesterday, thinking I should be 37 weeks and nearly there. Not a pretty sight!

Flatwhite32 · 14/11/2017 19:11

Our story is practically identical @BlueeSpottyTiger. Our baby died at 9 weeks and a few days (approx 9+2ish) but we didn't find out til the 12 week scan. Like you, I'm going to book a scan, but for after the 9 week mark. I'm too scared to even book in with the midwife in case something happens before then, as I sat through my previous booking in appointment not knowing our bean had died. I also received crap treatment from the midwives post MC, so don't have much confidence in them. Going to have to try and work up the courage to ring them!

Flatwhite32 · 14/11/2017 19:16

@TheGrumpySquirrel and @di626 am so sorry you're both having a crap day ladies.
@di626, how did your appointment go? I hope it was helpful, and that they are going to run some tests for you.

@LookingAtTheStars89, big hugs. It's inevitable we will compare our 'should have' situations when we see pregnant ladies. A girl I work with is just 3-4 weeks behind where I should have been, and I look at her bump most days thinking 'I should be...'. I have no words of wisdom about feeling better, but try and do something nice for yourself every day, whether it's a big cuddle with your family, a nice food treat, some new clothes etc. I know it's not the same and won't solve any problems ultimately, but you deserve nice things. Xxx

di626 · 14/11/2017 19:22

@Flatwhite32 back from private app... no real satisfaction said to take aspirin if get positive test & to book an early scan to get record of heartbeat. Said cause first loss so early & no early scan to detect heartbeat its not really counted 😩, 2nd loss def as heartbeat detected. Said so common (yes i feckin know but i dont want to be among the commoners lol). Her advice was to ‘stay happy, remain calm & lead a happy life’ - i wanted to reply WTF im meant to be on maternity leave now🙈, but she is so lovely. Didnt even charge me for today.** Said my GP has done necessary tests for min & next would be chromosone testing which comes back vastly that its normal.

Flatwhite32 · 14/11/2017 19:47

I'm so glad she was lovely and didn't charge you. That's really kind. However, it's a shame that you feel no further forward. Stay calm etc is all well and good, but that's bloody hard after a MC! Lots of us also work in stressful jobs too, so staying calm isn't always easy. We are always here when you need to talk. Xxx

Fillybee · 14/11/2017 20:28

@di626 so was this Dr going to proceed with the chromosome or did she mean you’d have it done through NHS? Sounds like a bit of an unsatisfactory appointment as gave you no new info nor any meds to try except for aspirin... Nice that she didn’t charge you but then how is she going to make any money if she doesn’t charge people?? Or is it like you get your first appointment free?! 🤔🤔🤔

Fillybee · 14/11/2017 20:30

Sorry @grumpy and @looking that you are having difficult days, sending wishes for better days tomorrow xx

di626 · 14/11/2017 20:39

@Fillybee no she said she wouldnt proceed with that testing at this stage to give it another go 😪. I was with her in January so she had abit of background on me. She said if she done testing now that i wouldnt meet the criteria & if they tested everyone like me they would be inundated... possibly the joys of living in NI! Ah i just dunno.. try again & hope for the best!! At 35 i dont have time to faff about!

di626 · 14/11/2017 20:48

@Fillybee i basically got the impression from her that i had no need to be there & 2 losses were so common & only taken seriously when have 3 m/c’s with heartbeats seen in early scans. My first loss was at 5.5 wks so wouldt have been h/b & 2nd loss mmc at 10wks, id seen hb at just over 6wks but had been no growth then since that 6wk scan at 10wks

LookingAtTheStars89 · 14/11/2017 21:06

Thanks for your kind words guys
