@bluee I’m sure they’ll say it’s fine as there’s no evidence to say it’s not ok... Yeah don’t stop if it helps with bedtime!! I was a bit miffed that I stopped and then mc anyway!

PineapplePrincess · 12/11/2017 21:13

Thanks @UnicornsandRainbows1 and @Flatwhite32

@weasledee, sorry to hear about your miscarriages and in such quick succession too - it’s just so cruel. Hope you are coping okay Flowers.

We have DS at age three, but as an only child myself, I’ve always said I never wanted just one. It’s all so ironic, as DS came along as a fluke and now with concerted trying for over a year now and we’re having no joy!?!

It’s comforting to hear that there are others in similar situations, particularly at age 41 @weasledee and @Martydog. Flicking through these boards everyone seems so young, with plenty of time to conceive. I feel on borrowed time and so old, good to know that I’m not mad to be continuing to try!?!

I got so excited with this last pregnancy. Figured the first loss was just statistical and believed the consultant that we would be fine next time round. Was planning a Christmas reveal with stockings, now I’m beginning to dread Xmas!?!

TTC has been my focus since February miscarraige and the only way I know how to cope with this one!?!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/11/2017 21:15

filly aww i bet you was! How old was your little one when you stopped?
I make myself cringe breastfeeding at 21months but it works for us. I only planned on doing it until 10weeks.. then 6months now there is no end in sight however I'm not going to be breastfeeding a full grown child. Reminds me of 'bitty' from 'little Britain' 🙈

PineapplePrincess · 12/11/2017 21:22

@Fillybee - congratulations on your little bean!?!

Hoping CP will count and if I labour my age and circumstances (caring for parents with Alzheimer’s for 10+ years, which delayed trying for kids) that the doctor will have sympathy and refer me. I worry how long a referal will take however, I’m not sure how long hubby will continue actively trying!?!

Normally medicated with herparin as soon as pregnancy is confirmed, however wondering if I should try baby aspirin or injections earlier; couldn’t hurt....?

Don’t seem to have a problem conceiving, just maintaining pregnancy. So I’m assuming any IVF help is out (altho’ discounted for age also), although would be nice to speed things along - seven months of TTC since last time!!!

Fillybee · 12/11/2017 22:03

@bluee He was 18 months. By this point it was only feeding him at about 4 or 5 am so that he’d go back to sleep for a couple more hours. So the worst thing about stopping was that he was then up for the day at 5:30 for a couple of months! But then went to 6 for a couple months now this last month sometimes he’ll go to 7 which is amazing!

TheCatsPaws · 12/11/2017 22:20

They counted my chemical. Two of my losses were chemical and that counted for my GP, and I’m in my twenties. Definitely ask them!

PineapplePrincess · 12/11/2017 22:56

Thanks @TheCatsPaws. If you don’t mind me asking, how long did a referral to a specialist take?

TheCatsPaws · 12/11/2017 23:02

Ive only just seen the first dr at my GP so I don’t know yet. She did bloods, which cane back as normal, and then they’re referring me. I’m unsure when that’ll come through.

The first bloods I had done instantly.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/11/2017 05:51

Temp dropped this morning so AF should be here shortly 😔

Daffodil77 · 13/11/2017 07:28

@Grumpy how much did it drop by? Sending you virtual hugs as I know this is the last thing you need right now. Is it today you're seeing the doctor?

Flatwhite32 · 13/11/2017 07:32

@TheGrumpySquirrel FlowersNothing I can say will make you feel better, but we are all here for you my lovely. Xx

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/11/2017 08:00

Thank you lovelies. Dropped from 36.85 to 36.55 so very clear. 13dpo today. Luckily I did my crying at the weekend already. I just hope AF holds off until tonight as I could do without coming on at work. Seeing acupuncturist on Thursday and GP Friday.

FLAT!!! woweeee what a line! congrats lovely. Great news.

grumpy i would never judge for POAS moments...i do them obsessively. but sorry to hear your temp has dropped. glad you have people to see to potentially help this week.

pinapple after my natural mc at 7 weeks my cycle went back to normal straight away, it was only odd after the later mmc. welcome by the way and so sorry for your losses. i'm 40 next year so i know how you feel about age.

catspaws and looking i know it's not the same and sometimes these comments in RL are so annoying, but I wanted to give you hope that a friend on mine in RL had had 7 mc and then is now pregnant and about to give birth in jan. she is 38 and really tried everything. this one happened by chance, and of course she is being looked after by the rc miscarriage clinic i think. It can, and will happen for you both i'm sure. but i also know how hard it is to pass every month with time ticking.... hugs for you both.

And cats not morbid, maybe in a while you'll feel ready to deal with it? i agree that burying it and planting a lovely plant/shrub over it will be a nice reminder. i didn't do this, it happened in hospital so it all got chucked away. however i went and got my first tattoo as a reminder instead. nothing baby related, just a floral image, small on my inner arm that makes me smile when i see it.

NoCatsHere · 13/11/2017 11:19

so today my clear blue stick was a smiley static - a leap from yesterdays blank circle so i better jump the oh! he was away for a few days so we didn't dtd last night annoyingly - will def tonight, i can't waste yet another month....

FakeHappy · 13/11/2017 12:42

Hi everyone. I had a missed miscarriage in April at nearly 12 weeks. My periods returned to normal for a while but I now haven't had one for 4 months and haven't conceived yet. I have a Drs appointment tomorrow to discuss - has anyone else been in this situation? I want to know what tests they may be able to do and what treatment might be available..
Maybe it's silly but I just worry they will say it's 'just one of those things' and not take me seriously. I'm all round worried!
Thanks in advance,

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/11/2017 14:57

Welcome @FakeHappy sorry to hear of your loss and that you are still in limbo! I have not been in that situation but I hope the doc can give you some answers Flowers

Still no AF, maybe the vitamin b6 has started to lengthen my LP which is good I suppose. My periods have only been 2 days long since the miscarriage so I’m worried I have lining issues. I of course am hoping that my temp goes back up in the morning and I get a BFP but not likely at this point!

TheCatsPaws · 13/11/2017 14:59

Grumpy mine have been short since my miscarriage too. It’s annoying.

PineapplePrincess · 13/11/2017 17:40

Thanks @NoCatsHere

I took an OV test this morning and got a flashing smiley face, after blank circle yesterday. Thursday would be my usual ovulation day, 14 days after period - so flashing smiley could be right and I’m back on track.

Am I right to be suspicious? Or are Clear Blue ovulation tests fairly accurate? No cervical mucus which is raising suspicions, but I have had two pretty clear negative PG test since miscarriage, so hCG must be pretty low or non-existent.

Gah, why can’t your body just give you a print out on what’s going on and what to do!?!

Flatwhite32 · 13/11/2017 18:01

@TheGrumpySquirrel I have been taking B6 since the beginning of October. My periods were also only two days long since MMC, and were quite short before since coming off the pill. I don't know if it has helped me get a BFP this time round, but I have certainly felt more 'hormonal' since taking it l, whereas I felt completely 'flat' before. Really hope it makes a difference for you.

Thank you @NoCatsHere! Going to do another FRER tomorrow to check that the line is getting darker.

@FakeHappy I am so sorry for your loss. I also had a MMC at 12 weeks. I can't give you any useful advice re your cycles, but don't let the GP fob you off. Best of luck. Xx

TheCatsPaws · 13/11/2017 18:10

Reading my bloods it actually looks like my Estrogen is low. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Zoo33 · 13/11/2017 21:01

Well I survived my first day back at work (although not without tears because my boss gave me a hug and asked how I was so I cried all over her which I’d really hoped to avoid but never mind). I’ve also convinced my bf it’s in the interests of my emotional well-being to try again as soon as possible, so I’m feeling better tonight than I have done for the last few weeks. With this positivity in mind, can I please join the Facebook group (or at least get instructions on what I need to do)?

LookingAtTheStars89 · 13/11/2017 21:09

@Flatwhite32 How much B6 were you taking? I Have b6 in the seven seas trying for a baby...is that enough or do I need more?

Sorry that sent twice!

TheCatsPaws · 13/11/2017 21:10

You need 100mg of b6 in a b complex.
