I will feel better, I think the reason we haven’t is because DPs family wanted us to cremate it because they’re Hindu and it’s important to their beliefs. But we don’t really want a ceremony or anything because it’s too painful. So we’ve done...nothing.

TheCatsPaws · 12/11/2017 10:02

I like the flower idea very much

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/11/2017 11:24

catspaws it's not weird atall!
I feel guilty about my little one who was born when my waters actually broke and it was just there in my knickers a perfect little baby. I wrapped up it up in my knickers and threw in the BIN (wtaf was i thinking)i was in spain and i will always regret doing that. Makes me very tearful actually :(

Why don't you ask you OH to dig a hole and bury it for you so you don't have to look. And then you can place a little ornament there to remember it by? Or plant it under a little tree or something? Xx

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/11/2017 13:33

I just tortured myself by watching a FRER develop. I normally do this, rather than just look after 3 mins, but usually there is nothing happening even during development. This time there was a line! Then once fully developed, no line! FFS I know it’s probably just the dye being pulled over the indent but of course it means I start hoping again. At 12DPO a FRER should be a clear positive so please talk me down??

Grumpy that has happened to me in the past! Are you sure there is no line atall? Because i can see something there?? Xx

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/11/2017 16:20

Just looking on here... and I'm sure i can see something? I don't wanna get your hopes up but with my second pregnancy i didn't even get a line on a frer until 13dpo.
When is your AF due?

Hi ladies, wondering if I can join the group?

Suffered a MMC at 12wks back in February and then again at 6wks last week. Hopping straight back on the TTC wagon, as at 41 feel I’m running out of time to make this happen.

Now sure how quickly cycles return to normal after an early miscarraige? During my first, it took about 5wks at which point I had a chemical pregnancy. Had two negative tests now, so hoping everything is back to normal.

Anyone doing anything differently? I’m open to (almost) all ideas at this point!?!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/11/2017 18:01

Thanks guys the pic was taken during development so I don’t think it counts. After 3 mins it was a bfn for sure. AF due tomorrow or Tuesday

Welcome @PineapplePrincess I’m so sorry for your losses - is it worth asking to be referred for tests now given your age? It’s normally done after 3 mc. I’ve tried everything, vitamins , the lot — going to ask my doc for help now

Hi @thegrumpysquirrel

Have an appointment a week on Wednesday to see doctor (waiting to see female doctor). Had blood tests after first miscarraige, which appeared normal. I have a previous history of DVT, although no underlying condition, wondering whether I should medicate earlier in pregnancy or even beforehand.

Hoping they will count the chemical pregnancy as one of the three for a referal: as not sure I could manage another loss. Promised hubby this would be our final attempt! TTC is the only thing that’s keeping me going at the moment.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 12/11/2017 18:32

@PineapplePrincess I'm really sorry you're here. I'm pretty sure they do count chemicals as an actual loss (it was that after all). Good luck for Wednesday, keep us updated and hopefully they can refer you for some more help

Flatwhite32 · 12/11/2017 18:40

@TheGrumpySquirrel I can see something too. Definitely test again tomorrow morning. Keeping everything crossed for you that AF doesn't arrive. Xx

@PineapplePrincess I'm so sorry about your losses. I'm pleased you have arranged a doctor's appointment. This board is full of lovely ladies, so feel free to vent with all of us. Xx

weasledee · 12/11/2017 18:47

Hi pineapple, I could have written your post more or less! I had a loss at 14 weeks in August and I had a erpc 2 weeks ago after mmc at 6 weeks. I’m also 41!
I do have 2 DC, so we were trying for a third, but we’re not sure if to carry on anymore.....
You’re in the right place for info and support definitely x

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/11/2017 19:07

Pic was taken during development so really think it’s just the dye going over the indent line. Plus if I’m still getting white bfn today (which it was after the full 3 mins) I want to wait till Tuesday for a more definitive line (and AF will probably arrive by then if not).

Hi pineapple I'm 41 next month I am sorry to hear about your loses.

Fillybee · 12/11/2017 19:33

Hmm I think I can see a suggestion of a line @grumpy. I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to look as it developed... you going to do another tomorrow or hold off till Tuesday?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/11/2017 19:35

Waiting till Tuesday. I’ve spent so much money on pregnancy tests I’m starting to feel really guilty about it!

Eek congratulations Flatwhite that is a brilliant line!!! Fingers crossed so hard that this is the one.

Grumpy I do see something there, arghhh I hope it turns into a clear line over the next few days. I'm sending hugs as POAS limbo is a really hard place to be.

Fillybee · 12/11/2017 19:39

Hi @pineapple sorry for your losses. CP should count I reckon so ask for referral. I’ve had 3 mcs and when I went for my recurrent mc clinic appointment I was 4+1 with a new pregnancy. I already on low dose aspirin on GP advice, Dr was very excited about this and said aspirin was the only thing proven to help. He also put me on progesterone pessaries and heparin injections. But he only put me on these because I asked about them. He said nothing proven but can’t hurt to try. But he says he only gives them to people who ask (unless their tests have shown they need them of course) so ask about them if you want to try them! Currently 7+6 xx

Flatwhite32 · 12/11/2017 19:50

They are so expensive aren't they @TheGrumpySquirrel! £10.75 for two FRERs! Whoever invented those must be rolling in money!

Fillybee · 12/11/2017 20:05

@catpaws do whatever you feel is best.... one of our mcs is buried at the foot of a tree in our garden. @bluee don’t feel bad... it must have been such a huge shock to you that you just did the only thing your brain could process at the time. I flushed previously, we only buried our third one because by number 3 I knew what was coming and had had a chance to think about what to do with it xxxxx

Fillybee · 12/11/2017 20:09

@looking yes get GP to test for clotting disorders. If they find something they might recommend low dose aspirin and/or heparin x

Fillybee · 12/11/2017 20:14

@bluee I was still breastfeeding at the time of my first and second mc. My thought process was that we know that breastfeeding impairs ovulation to stop you getting pregnant while still nuturing a baby so I thought maybe if an egg did manage to get through then maybe body would think actually let’s stop this. So I stoped bf but then still had third mc... also a lot of women do breastfeed all the way through a pregnancy so obviously for the majority it doesn’t cause issues but I wonder if maybe for some people it does... but as I say these were just my thoughts, no science fact!! x

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/11/2017 20:48

filly thanks to replying to me :) i only feed her at bedtime, It's literally a 10min thing so it's not like I'm doing it all day every 2hours lol. I'm going to make a doctor's appointment about maybe taking the baby aspirin to see what they think as i had 2 mc's in a row maybe it might help me? So I'll ask about the breastfeeding then. I have no plans to stop feeding her anytime soon so i hope they say its okay! Xx
