Welcome newbies! Hope to hear some BFPs soon.
@di626 @wednesday2cats - it's hard when you're TTC and it hasn't happened and then everyone around you seems to get pregnant easily. My SIL got pregnant super quick (2 months!) with 2nd child at 39 and they started telling people around the time our 1st embryo transfer failed. My mum actually stopped them from telling me as she thought I would be too upset (they knew we were TTC for some time but didn't know we were doing IVF).
@Spargle - My DP had slight motility problem (can't recall stats exactly, but not bad enough that natural conception was ruled out) and ICSI worked perfectly. I also heard of someone who conceived via ISCI due to husband's motility, but then conceived naturally later on.
@Janefx40 - hope IVF is progressing well. Do you have little pin-prick bruises on your tummy? I did!
@Russkispy - better luck next month.
@cobby81 - pharmacist told me to wait until 14DPO to test as doing it earlier means less accurate result. When I got my BFP it was at 14 DPO (10 days after embryo transfer) & it was strong line that appeared quickly.
I'm now 26 weeks and apart from getting bigger/slower and more easily tired, everything is fine. However, I'm aware that many health problems arise in 3rd trimester, so not out of woods yet. I'm currently fighting my 3rd (FFS!) cold of this winter. I didn't know that pregnancy naffs up your immune system making you susceptible to everything, and you can't take hardly any medicines (not even Strepsils!)

New job is great althought quite full on, but part of this is me adapting to new role/getting used to consultancy again after being in a university for 2 years. They're relaxed about my maternity leave and are doing everything correctly. I've said I want to take 6-7 months off then come back 4 days a week and that's fine
