Yellow and flat - sorry you're having suck bad days.
Flat - don't worry about lack of hormonal symptoms. I had none this month and very defiantly have a period so it doesn't mean binge aren't working.

Haybay1 · 10/10/2017 10:58

Flat and Yellow big hugs. I was feeling like that on Sat and Sunday! Every few minutes I just wanted to / started to burst out in tears!!! This first AF is totally crazy... bleeding soooo heavy for 3 days now 😞 I thought I was doing fine and then this first AF has hit me for 6! Hormones too I’m sure aren’t helping 🙈

NoCatsHere · 10/10/2017 13:20

Massive hugs to all those of you struggling today.

yellow I hope you are snuggled down now and relaxing. I found getting past my due date incredibly hard.

I'm glad that this week is baby loss awareness week which give me the opportunity to be more vocal about things without feeling like I'm just blurting it out randomly about how shit and unfair this is to all women. I also agree, for me the only thing that will fix the sadness is another baby.

KerryLeanne84 · 10/10/2017 14:04

Big hugs and positive vibes to everyone who's really struggling today. This sucks and I'm not sure you ever really get over it, I've heard from women with kids that they still think about the one/s they lost.

yellow, I had a day when I just couldn't go to work as I couldn't stop crying. I'm sure they'll understand ❤️

GreyCloudsToday · 10/10/2017 14:41

Thinking of you guys Flatwhite and Yellow. Some days are just really hard. Hope you're at least doing some nice things.

Unicorns your symptoms sound really promising!

Bluee still crossing everything for you.

12dpo (well, I think) and still BFN, but no AF either. I hope this won't be a super long cycle, my (last) mc started on 7th September. Sort it out, body!!!

Flatwhite31 · 10/10/2017 17:40

Unfortunately I was working @GreyCloudsToday. Really had to fight back the tears in front of the children. Not easy.

@Haybay1 my first AF was really heavy too. I had to take a day off work as I felt so awful.

@yellowfrontdoor Hope you're feeling a bit better. I'm with you on having a bad day today. It sucks. I've officially cancelled my birthday next Fri. Have told people I dont want presents or cards, as I'm not celebrating this year.

Juancornetto · 10/10/2017 18:15

haybay my first AF was really heavy too, I think it happens quite a lot. Make sure you keep your iron levels up!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 10/10/2017 18:22

Yellow , don't worry about work! Im sorry you are struggling, it's so sad 💖 i been signed off work for 4 weeks with my Mc, i start back on Friday with reduced 4 hours a day for the next week. Before that i was signed odd for my hg so i would have been off for 13weeks by the time i finally go back
🤤
Love to all struggling xx

Flatwhite31 · 10/10/2017 18:47

I do wonder if I'm still so bad because I only had 11 days off after my ERPC (rest of school hols).

Since going back, I've had to teach a new class of 31 nine year olds, lead my singing club, organise two performances for Nov and Dec, write and lead a Harvest Assembly for 420 children and all members of staff, have a lesson observation watched and graded by the head and deputy (got graded outstanding which I was chuffed with considering everything!) AND on Friday we have a 'survival' sleepover at school involving 62 kids sleeping in indoor tents they have made. As you can imagine, we get very little sleep. Is it any wonder I'm exhausted and emotional?!

Fillybee · 10/10/2017 20:42

Crikey that sounds so full on @flatwhite! I guess on the one hand it keeps you busy and distracted but then maybe you haven't had time to process it all and grieve properly as you've not had that much time to think about it and get your head around it. And then on top of everything you must be tired and stressed which makes you all the more emotional... when is your next break, is half term soon?

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 10/10/2017 20:52

We'll see Grey I think I'm just being too wishful.

Oh Flat, that's a lot of stuff in one go my lovely. Make sure you take it easy. Am I right in thinking that there's a week off end of October?

Haybay1 · 10/10/2017 22:56

Flat that sounds very hectic!! Make sure you have a nice chilled half term week at the end of this month, sounds like you need it. Could you maybe arrange a night or 2 away somewhere to escape with DH?

Hope you’re feeling a bit better this eve yellow?

Glad I’m not the only one whose had a crazy first AF... I’m basically leaking through a ‘super’ tampon in an hour and a half!!! For 3 freakin’ days now - it’s like a scene from a horror movie 😂🤡😫 Thanks juancornetto I think I’m going to order some iron supplements to get delivered in the next day or 2.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 11/10/2017 03:54

Well I'm awake and can't sleep. I've got the pre-period sign which is uncomfortable warmth in my ùterus region along with mild discomfort so I'm probably out. Due on Sunday but given post MC anything can happen. So gutted even though every chance is still slim

Flatwhite31 · 11/10/2017 06:56

Really hope that's not the case @UnicornsandRainbows1. I admire your willpower waiting! Xx

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/10/2017 07:08

Sorry not had time to comment on everyone’s posts. Flat white I hope half term comes around quickly for you, that sounds full on!

I’m feeling utterly devastated today- another bfn and AF will be here Friday. Onto cycle 6 post mc. Only 2 more chances to get pregnant before my due date. Really fed up and don’t understand why it’s not working. Been doing everything right. If one more person tells me to relax I’ll punch them!

Flatwhite31 · 11/10/2017 07:23

So sorry @TheGrumpySquirrel. Could you go to the GP about your concerns? Maybe get hormone levels checked?

Yes we have a week off in less than 2 weeks. I'll spend it feeling depressed about not being pregnant, as my plan before my MMC was to spend October half term starting to buy baby stuff Sad having had a successful 20 week scan.

Glitterbug76 · 11/10/2017 08:08

Flat white I'm so sorry your feeling like this sending you huge hugs and to everyone one else
I tried for 2 years to get pregnant I went to see a accupunterist and was pregnant within 3 months. My freind had 3 failed ivf attempts and getting got pregnant within 2 months.
I actually can't get to see her now she's that booked up but did see another one who I'm goin to restart with who's a midwife and she also delivers training to midwifes across the country I know it's a bit of the thread but I was willing give it a try.

KerryLeanne84 · 11/10/2017 08:15

So sorry for your period grumpy and potentially arriving period unicorns 😔 I'm so sorry if this wasn't the month

Fillybee · 11/10/2017 09:15

I'm 9dpo and bfn this morning... DH saw my hidden wee pot so had to do the test with him, would rather do it on my own at these early stages as don't want to have his disappointment to deal with as well as my own.... roll on tomorrow but I feel like as there's not even a squinter today it's probs not the month.... xx

Glitterbug76 · 11/10/2017 09:16

Kerryleanne I've never used a ovulation kit ect I've decided to start trying ( or think about it ) after mc 15 months and how do you chart your temp ?

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 11/10/2017 09:35

Idk maybe it's a sign after implantation 😂 Who the fuck am I kidding?! I know that every chance is so little but my friend has her 12 week scan tomorrow and I actually can't deal with it. This whole 12 weeks for me post MC has added anxiety purely because it was one after the other and having to watch it/answer questions. I just don't feel right

KerryLeanne84 · 11/10/2017 09:38

Glitterbug - a lot of us use one step ovulation tests which you can get really cheap in bulk from Amazon. The other main one is the clearblue digital which are easier to read but a lot more expensive.

Re charting - it's my first month so other ladies may know more but I use the Kindara app to track my cycle and you input your temps on there each morning. You just need a thermometer which gives you a decimal point (like 35.8) which is most of them. The idea with temping is that you confirm that you definitely ovulated that month (in retrospect) and nothing else other than a blood test can do that.

mummykezza · 11/10/2017 10:11

Hi everyone, not posted for a few days but so sad to read some of the pain people are feeling. Life is just so unfair, and yes we can say that, and yes we can feel sorry for ourselves. We always try and be so strong and I was so logical when I received my lovely messages from family. Kept saying it was one of those things and something was not quite right, and people kept telling me how strong I was, but I don't really want to be. Plus I read an article today about miscarriage being hard on the fathers and not recognised as much which upset me as I thought I was attentive to dh but maybe not enough.

My MC was about 3 weeks ago. I've spent this time telling everyone its given me the motivation to be healthy, but instead i stuffed my face and drank so much wine. So at lunchtime today I am going back to weight watchers for the 1000th time, but this time my motivation is different than wanting to be thin and look good. It's now for my little boy and the hope of being healthy to give him a sibling. I say how much I want a new baby but am doing nothing to help myself. I know it wan't my 'fault' but being overweight and unhealthy won't help. So here goes.... am dreading the scales!!

Glitterbug76 · 11/10/2017 10:47

Kerryleanne thank you so much that was really really helpful
mummykezza you are being so brave and strong , give your self time , I think you need time drink wine and eat stuff you don't usually. Your strong to think about weight loss again it took me months to think about
Eating well an exercising big hugs.

GreyCloudsToday · 11/10/2017 10:56

Kezza I've eaten a 100g bar of dark chocolate and half a bag of crisps today, so you're not alone!!
