Flat - I struggle with the OPK's too and find clear blue digital works for me (bar this time post MC where it's gone bonkers - ha ha!) but conceived last time using clear blue so do rate it

Flatwhite31 · 01/10/2017 15:52

I also conceived last time using the Clearblue @coastalchick. I was on cycle 4 and it worked first time, but my cycles were normal then. I guess I'm doing the lined ones too as I'm so anxious about it all (which is annoying as anxiety won't help TTC, but I can't help it!). I think I'll stop doing them and stick to CB as the lines are stressing me out.

yellowfrontdoor · 01/10/2017 15:52

So this is my OPK chart this month.
Flatwhite my cycles been so erratic this month, I've finally got positives on CD24! I was panicking because some of them were so faint they were barely visible.

I've been doing the same flat but once this AF has gone (witch) then I'll go back to pure CB. So frustrating as had we DTD properly on 19th then we may have caught it. However, thinking maybe best to have a period first anyway as easier with dating, which I think I'll be particularly nervous about if get PH again given MMC and the issues with me telling scanners (and being ignored!!) it was too small for date

coastalchick · 01/10/2017 15:58

@yellow - am gonna get a notebook like that for next cycle!!!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 01/10/2017 16:40

yellow i used to have mine all set out in a little notebook like that 🤗

I didn't ovulate until cd 21 after i started my mc. Do i count my actual mc which was a natural one as cd 1? I'm just guessing i do?

Now 3dpo..
Anyone due to test next weekend??? I'll be 9dpo from sat and that's when I've had 2bfps from in the past.

âš Sorry this may be upsetting-
Did anyone else see their baby? Because when my waters broke it was there straight away (in my knickers 😔 ) i had no choice but to see it. I was in spain so i couldn't really fetch it home :( i really regret that now and it keeps playing on my mind.

coastalchick · 01/10/2017 16:43

@blue - didn't see mine as was lucky enough to be in hospital (they admit you where I live) and the nurses had said don't look when I passed anything but to press a button and they'd come and take it away.

I can imagine it was v distressing. There really are no words xx

Flatwhite31 · 01/10/2017 16:49

So organised @yellowfrontdoor! Definitely a positive on CD 24 there . Really cross this is your BFP cycle.

I didn't see my baby as he (I'm convinced it was a boy) was surgically removed, but I can imagine that it must have been a distressing experience @BlueeSpottyTiger Sad. MC is so traumatic...

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 01/10/2017 17:04

I saw mine Bluee. I'm sorry you weren't able to take your baby back with you. I wasn't expecting to see mine tbh, I thought it was another clot when I woke up from a nap :/

yellowfrontdoor · 01/10/2017 17:50

Bluee first mc I felt everything come out of me into my pjs in a&e. Was too scared to look. DH helped me take the trousers off & put them in the bin. Will always haunts me that I put my precious baby in a clinical waste bin.

Second mc I had ERPC. Nothing to see. I asked what happened to the babies and doctor told me they're cremated & scattered.

@Flatwhite31 I'm really hoping for my next bfp too. I really really hope it is. Sad

coastalchick · 01/10/2017 18:34

What I find weird is I was told that my baby was taken away for testing before being cremated. When I asked for results they said they don't test for chromosomal abnormalities, only to check nothing wrong with placenta which could cause the mother harm. Why is that? Can they not detect abnormalities that early?

yellowfrontdoor · 01/10/2017 18:44

@coastalchick I apologise if I'm wrong here, but I don't think it's that they can't, just that they won't. I was told no abnormality testing until 3 mcs.

My guess is that it's expensive & not worth doing because up to three is 'bad luck'.

Like I said, just the gist I picked up after my second & I asked about testing.

coastalchick · 01/10/2017 18:52

You're probably right yellow. They should at least, I think, give you the option to pay to have it tested if you want, rather than just not and cremate it before you can say otherwise.

Flatwhite31 · 01/10/2017 18:52

Ditto @coastalchick. They also check it wasn't a molar or partial molar. Given how bloody hard it is getting over a mc, it's awful you have to have 3 in a row. All that hardship and emotional distress. If I have another, I'm going private.

Elpheba · 01/10/2017 18:57

Blue- I ovulated 3 days ago too! Not sure if I'm brave enough to test on Saturday as that will still be 5 days before AF due. But I could use some ICs I suppose- would they work that early? DH's birthday is the day AF is due so it would be amazing to get a BFP for that. Not least because due date for MMC is 4 days later...
It's going to be hard getting anything done with crossed fingers for the next week or so!

Elpheba · 01/10/2017 19:56

Sorry if Tmi but hoping for advice or to be told to calm down with my symptom spotting already Blush
I just saw a little bit of pink/brown spotting on my liner but thinking is too early for implantation? I got the clearblue static smiley on Wednesday morning so only 5 days max since ovulation and possibly only 2-3 if the egg didn't release until Thursday.
Is it possible to be implantation do we think? Or just too early/optimistic?!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 01/10/2017 20:13

I think it's possible. Some implant a bit later, some are pretty quick. It's all estimates and depends on how fast your fallopian tube gets to work with movement

Flatwhite31 · 01/10/2017 20:22

You never know @Elpheba! I know now when I had implantation as I had some really sharp pains which then suddenly disappeared. At the time I didn't think anything of it, but I know now that it was implantation. I got no bleeding, but I have heard that some people do. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Fillybee · 01/10/2017 21:08

Visited my SIL's baby over the weekend (who had same due date as me for my first mc) and pleased to report was all ok. I didn't blub too much and I feel lots of love for him. In fact I worry I might love him a bit too much like he's a replacement for my baby?!

So on Friday my HCG levels were down to 23, and over weekend I've had loads (like a ridiculous amount) of EWCM. I can't be ovulating already surely?? I assumed it would be approx 2 weeks after HCG reached 0? We plan not to wait for a period this time (as that advice didn't help us previously!)

Congrats @lime that's lovely news. Do you get lots of extra scans as it twins? xx

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 01/10/2017 21:20

So ov pains are there (And actually it feels a little bit like I'm gonna come on down there but there we go). Didn't manage to dtd today as we've been busy bees but we have done it leading up

Flatwhite31 · 01/10/2017 21:28

I'll either get a BFP or my period in the same week I should have had my 20 week scan, which is also the same week as my birthday (20th Oct). The way things are going, it looks like I'll be crying on my birthday, as my body is so messed up from the MMC and ERPC Sad.

Flatwhite31 · 01/10/2017 21:28

Sorry wrong thread, although the last bit of that is relevant on here.

KerryLeanne84 · 01/10/2017 21:31

Glad you coped okay filly! I think most of us got tons of ewcm afterwards, I think it's a weird hormonal thing as things settle back down

TheGrumpySquirrel · 01/10/2017 21:36

Yellow and blue, I passed mine into the toilet at home. I didn't look, but to this day I feel guilty for flushing her away. I wish I had been brave enough to take her out and see her. But I wasn't.

Feeling a bit odd now it's getting to be autumn and I should have been 30 weeks today.
