flatwhite I'm so so sorry for your loss , it's so so brave of you and everyone to talk about what your going through, have you been in touch with the miscarriage accociation ? Their nurses are really lovely I remember speaking to them while I was going through my miscarriage and once a week after. They were some one independent from the epu and family ect .. they also undertake research and their web site is good , I still contact them from time to time and they remember you ❤️ To every one.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 28/09/2017 08:55

Turns out I've been using them wrong. What a class A twat I am! 😂

I never knew that either unicorns!!!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 28/09/2017 10:02

Flatwhite aww, That's so sad. Like glitter said you are so brave for voicing how you feel. I was recommened the miscarriage association number when i had mine. I haven't spoke with them but maybe they could help? There really is no words that will comfort what we have been through xx
Mummy i know having a toddler does help! dd is 20months in 2 days and she's into everything so i rarely have time to sit and think about how i feel because if im not chasing her I'm tidying up after her! Lol
I have had sooo many people saying comments like that.

Unicorn 🙈😂what part was you doing wrong?

KerryLeanne84 · 28/09/2017 10:04

Which bit were you doing wrong unicorns?

My workmate just told me that his wife is pregnant again and due in Feb (around the time I would have been) and 'it's going to be a nightmare' having two. I know he was joking and he's a lovely guy but Jesus Christ. Infertility is a nightmare, trying to get pregnant for two years is a nightmare. Having to inject yourself daily and go for wands up your lady bits constantly to have an iui is a nightmare and so is miscarrying the child you desperately wanted. Feeling like your heart is smashed into a million pieces and you might not ever feel okay again is a nightmare and so is genuinely not knowing if you will ever have a child. 💔

SchnitzelVonCrummsTum · 28/09/2017 10:32

Can I dip my toe in here? Currently in wtf cycle after ERCP on Sunday at 7+2...

My 4th loss (but I also have living dc)

Is it normal to hardly bleed after the op?

KerryLeanne84 · 28/09/2017 11:02

That really sucks schnitzel, I'm sorry.

I recently finished my first period and it started with spotting / super light flow and then after 4/5 days became very heavy for another 2/3 days before stopping. Like you said, it's all a bit wtf in the cycle after

KerryLeanne84 · 28/09/2017 11:02

Sorry schnitzel just realised you didn't mean period! I also didn't bleed much after op, apparently because they got everything

yellowfrontdoor · 28/09/2017 12:48

Sorry for your loss schnitzel, with my first ERPC there was little bleeding, but with the second I bled for ages.

So I have another positive which is great because although we dtd last night, DH felt the pressure & couldn't 'finish'. Glad we've not missed our chance (hopefully!).

Unicorn were you testing fmu? I usually do mine around 11.30-12, I limit liquids and also hold my wee for at least 2 hours to get the best possible sample.

NoCatsHere · 28/09/2017 14:02

unicorn I sometimes test in the morning and the afternoon anyway for laughs. But I had always heard the afternoon is supposed to be better...

So I'm cd22 today and 7dpo. I normally get a 13 day lp so my af should be 6 days away. Pretty tempted to test tomorrow...

BlueeSpottyTiger · 28/09/2017 14:10

yellow hopefully not! You ov around 12-36 hours after a positive and then the egg survives 12? Hours so it can give you 12 -48hours before you've missed the chance after a postive (if I've worked that out right lol)
Plus if you've been dtd in fw then you'll have a reserve already waiting to pounce on the egg 😁 i only dtd 2 days before ov as before that we was using condoms before 🤦 as we wasn't going to ttc any time soon let alone this cycle.

So i got postive opk yesterday afternoon... we dtd and I'll dtd again today and tomorrow to make sure i try to catch the egg.

Kerry sorry your having such a tough day :( You will have a child one day, Keep postive xx

schnitzel i didn't have ERPC mine was a natural mmc that i had at 12+5 a
with a 9+5 pregancy. I only had heavy bleeding while i passed everything so about 5 hours. The next day it was like the end of a period.. then spotting for a few days followed by nothing atall for 3 days and then more spotting if you would even call it that for about a week. I thought the mc wouldn't have been complete because i didn't think i bled enough but scan confirmed everything had come out i just had a small pocket of blood left behind that explains the spotting i got later on.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 28/09/2017 14:56

Well I was wondering why it was so inconsistent. I didn't know that no fmu was a thing for those or that the LH is there at certain times of the day. At least now I know!

yellowfrontdoor · 28/09/2017 18:58

@BlueeSpottyTiger I got another positive at 11.30 today, just tested again now, it's a strong line but not a full positive.
Dtd not last night, night before & hoping to tonight!

Eek! Fingers crossed for all of us Flowers

coastalchick · 28/09/2017 21:08

Just wanted to post this pic - my lovely little cat who was clearly bored with me reading the pregnancy book in the days before my MC. Thought this might bring a smile to some faces. x

"No more book please"

Srsly, totally adorable!

Elpheba · 28/09/2017 23:51

Sounds like a number of us have ovulated at a similar time so hoping we get lots of good news in two weeks time.
I can be more of a lurker than a poster but it's so helpful to hear so many stories and to know that I'm not alone and that our bodies all do weird and frustrating things after MC. I was so reassured by threads like this, saying my crazy long cycles were normal for post MC etc so I hope it reassures those of you in the earlier stages that things should settle in time.

coastalchick · 29/09/2017 08:03

I'm still not sure I'm ovulating. Day 6 of flashing smiley and think AF making an appearance. At least if she is, that's that and I can draw a line for a few days then start testing again in hope of catching next cycle. Spent a bloody fortune on these stupid sticks. Think am gonna take a leaf out my cats book and get bored of this!!!!

KerryLeanne84 · 29/09/2017 11:22

Cute cat coastal - cats are the best! 😻

NoCatsHere · 29/09/2017 11:32

I do actually like cats, despite my user name!

Ok so I'm thinking i'll test tomorrow morning because i'll be cd 23 and 9dpo which surely will give me a good chance of a clear answer. I'm not desperately in HT mode as we only dtd once and i have no preggo feelings, but you never know i guess... I also want to know i can have a drink at the weekend and not feel bad about it!

coastalchick · 29/09/2017 14:15

Gah, AF appears to have arrived. In the middle of Sicily. I had a mini melt down at OH who pissed me off saying (about the fact I've had a MC and am not pregnant) that there was "nothing we can do about it so stop complaining". I bloody well know there isn't but that's not the point!!!! He is great generally but they just don't get what we've been through.

So, will stop OPK's now and add data to my app. Hoping to catch it on the next one which should be around mid-oct

GreyCloudsToday · 29/09/2017 15:08

Really sorry you had bad days Kerry, Flatwhite. The heartache absolutely sucks.

OMG Unicorn I had never actually read the instruction either, and have been using FMU loads!!

Cute friend you got there, Coastal. Are you on hols? Have a good time, hope your OH sorts his head out!! Curses for AF.

I'm testing in 2 weeks too Elpheba

Beautiful 🌈blue!

Flatwhite31 · 29/09/2017 17:06

I'm on CD 10 today. Touch wood the on off bleeding appears to have stopped. Negative opks, but that's to be expected I guess. I HATE that I'm having to do this again. Last time opks used to excite me. Now I just want to cry...

BlueeSpottyTiger · 29/09/2017 19:04

Flatwhite Oh i know! I feel the same, i used to be excited to test with them now i see it as a chore.
I keep telling myself I'm not ordering any IC's but i know as soon as i get to 9dpo I'll wanna test and end up going boots spending a small fortune on frers 😑 so I'll order them lol £2.99 for 30 is a bargin afterall!
