October Bus - More treats than tricks please!

I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

Fingers crossed then! I'm trying to yell myself how unlikely it is to happen this month, especially given that we only caught the tail end of my fertile week, but it's hard not to hope.

I'll be testing in October again. Last month I was 10 days late with 2 negative tests before AF came on CD40. My ovulation has been alllll over the place according to my app (using BBT plus OPKs). Sometimes day 12, other times day 25. Not trying per se but letting nature take its course if it's going to. OH has a high sex drive so there's no need to know specific O days anyway.

I am Fia. I'm currently in the throes of my fertile week, expecting to ovulate in the next couple days.

I'm with those that are mildly offended that they didn't conceive on their first month trying. I thought these big hips meant I would only have to think pregnant thoughts around a willy and I'd be upduffed. Alas, no.

I too am cursed blessed with large hips (and bum - thanks mum!) surely after finding it impossible to find trousers that don't gape at the back and giving up on ever finding a dress that fits for so many years means we should get up the duff without any issues right? That should be the trade off dammit! Hmm

I have CM question!!
I had alot of ewcm on cycle day 9 on a regular 30 day cycle. Surely I am not ovulating now? My period only stopped on cd4.

Anyone else had this?

@mama I've had ewcm on CD10 before now, but my cycles are only 25 days. This might sound a bit ick but are you sure it's you and not some of his, ahem, leftovers? I've def made that mistake before now! 😂

It's so strange because for years on the Pill I was convinced that if I missed a single pill I'd get pregnant. Now having unprotected sex for 2 months and nothing seems so strange!!

@PabloEscobarlo I use OvaGraph it's a purple icon with TCOYF in it (from the taking charge of your fertility book) that's what I read so originally used to chart with. Some pros some cons as with most I assume

@meow1989 I'd say the spa sounds like a great idea! Wouldn't worry before ovulation!

I’m confused this morning 🤔

Got my first positive opk Monday afternoon (using amazon cheapies). Did two more yesterday morning and afternoon, still positive. Also a temp dip yesterday. Then this morning, temp has risen by .3 which it usually does post ovulation, but I still have a very clear positive opk 🤔

No idea what’s going on!

@Fia256 could it be that the last test you've ovulated as shown by the temp rise, but with the test, you've happened to take it whilst there's still a high surge (so it's high enough to be picked up but it'll come down as of now).

Sorry I only use opk >_

Trying not to be obsessive and almost forget what we are doing....but have noticed that my boobs hurt when I am riding the horses and usually not a problem as I have modest boobicles......probably all in my head, but you can dream eh?

Think I'm going mad.... I think I ovulated last Friday and we dtd that day, Monday night and yesterday afternoon I've had nausea and metallic taste and my boobs are aching. Is it possible this is related to ovulation? Taking folic acid (I started last week on Thursday) or period coming?

I've only ever had nausea like this when pregnant though Confused

Hello, can I join the bus? Just had an early mc about 6 weeks but keen to keep trying. I'm breastfeeding and only got my period back in May, and my cycles have been long since then.

Will one of you please slap me? I'm 3/4dpo and in my first ever 2ww. I thought I'd be pretty chilled out but nope - I'm symptom spotting like a loon and googling everything! Feeling little twinges which I'm pretty sure are completely normal and I wouldn't even have registered last month, whereas now it's got me googling what it could mean. This is ridiculous! DH is no help, told him about my phantom symptoms last night and he just said 'well, you never know!' YES YOU DO, DH! 3DPO IS TOO EARLY FOR IMPLANTATION!
