October Bus - More treats than tricks please!

I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

Even though every time I’ve ever been pregnant, I’ve always had ZERO symptoms until around 7 weeks 🤔

Ah sorry guys for all the symptom spotting. I feel this comes with the territory of TTC and I'm just trying to ride the wave. Easy to say that now. Not yes in TWW

Anybody know if one could miss the LH surge. I have been testing daily at 5pm since CD 10. I'm on CD 15 so I could get the surge tonight or tomorrow. Starting to EWCM moving from watery CM. But just wondered if I should be testing more? Don't know if I could hold a wee twice a day for so long. Have been DTD daily since Sat so hopefully covered if I did miss the surge. Just worried about DP and my stamina to keep DTD the daily till Sun. Had planned to DTD till Fri.

@pixielove123 you might get it later than you think! I was convinced I’d missed it 2 months ago as was on day 15 and nothing. I think I got my positive day 16 or even 17 and then I didn’t ovulate until 48 hours after that. But my luteal phase seems to be slightly shorter at 11-12 days instead! Xx

@Fia256 oh Gosh!!! That means we'll have to continue till Sunday. If I don't get a surge tonight. Think we'll give DTD a Miss tonight

It’s a pain isn’t it! Although I would say don’t stress too much over it. We completely missed my fertile days last month, we only dtd the night before my first opk and I didn’t ovulate till 3 days later. I still got my bfp! It ended in miscarriage but still, I was certain we were out that month but it did happen!

I totally know how you're feeling, I'm only 5 days past and I'm convinced I've had symptoms the last two days - it's made me feel like I'm making it.....

I have googled every possible symptom. It's 10 years since I was last pregnant so I'm wracking my brains as to how I felt before...

Any tips on keeping rational?

5dpo and no symptoms at all.

I'm definitely a bit more chilled about everything this month, well trying to be. I'm so impatient, hate the 2ww.

@CoffeeWithMyOxygen I was like that my first cycle. Symptom spotted like mad.
Dh didn't help one day in that TWW when I mentioned that I wasn't Hun hey and felt a bit sick and he said "OMG YOU'RE PREGNANT!"
 but it's sweet he's so excited.

I'm happily chilled this time. I care but I'm not obsessing (this is cycle 3) I'm away with work for the next 2 days and then it's our wedding anniversary at the weekend so we're having a long weekend away which should take our minds of it all a little

Still don't appear to have ovulated yet this cycle despite 9 high readings on my clear blue test. I'm assuming I'm in for a very long cycle or I'm out before October's even begun

@Aph413 I don't think I have ovulated yet either... I'm on day 18

CD 20 now for me But still not a single sign of it happening.

TMI warning. My CM was watery boarder-line EWCM and now when I checked it seems thicker and sticky... is that normal? Still no positive OPK tonight either...

Didn't realize that waiting for ovulation could be as bad as the TWW

pixie I don't know if this will help but I don't think I've EVER noticed EWCM, and I've been pregnant five times (all conceived very quickly). I don't even bother to look for it now and I'll just get stressed that there isn't any!

@BeautifulLiar did you ever have burping as a sign of early pregnancy? I have that, nausea and sore boobs

Ha, no, I don't think so?! Always nausea. I never, ever get sore boobs though, whether pregnant or not. I'd rather have them than debilitating sickness!

I had hyperemesis gravidarum both times so am dreading it....but also the fact I have nausea is exciting....

Ah thanks for that @BeautifulLiar and Wow. 5 kids. That's incredible. What are their age gaps. A friend who's twin sister had 10 kids. Always admired her!!

I thought I was going to ovulate today, but I'm not sure now. DH is going to be exhausted at this rate. We actually missed last night as we were knackered by the time we got to bed. Hopefully we'll get enough going on to make it happen this month.

I keep thinking other things are happening on October 4th, it's just cause that's when AF is due and it's seared into my brain!!

We've only managed to dtd once this entire fertile week, so am feeling a bit meh about this cycle now. But we dtd every single day the last two months and got nuffin, so who knows? I guess when it's your turn, it's happening, no matter what you've done or not done! Have rather angry ovulation pain tonight so am aiming to jump DH when he gets in from work later, just for good measure 😉

pixie they are 9, 6, 4 and 18 months (the fifth one got to 9 weeks). This will be my DP's first baby so we're v excited! X

Think I'm in the right place. I'm 39 (tomorrow) and OH is 34. We got pregnant first go start of July but at end of August had a confirmed MMC at just over 9 weeks (though baby had stopped developing somewhere around the 6 week mark). Had medical management on 2 Sept and got the all clear scan yesterday.

Did an ovulation test Mon and got a negative then yesterday got a static smiley. Back to negative today. We were going to DTD but we tried last night and was too painful for me so stopped. Decided not to bother this am as was negative test. Plus we are going on hols tomorrow (Sicily) for 2 weeks.

According to Clue our next FW starts mid-October so will probs be doing a FRER end October. Going to take clear blue digital with me though and test ovulation each day because that test could've just been a blip given recent events - someone said that sometimes your body has a few goes at ovulating before it actually does it.

So, hoping that this October bus works for us all!

4th day of positive ovulation test today and I’m definitely not getting confused, the test line is as strong as the control line! Definitely not pregnant either. Chemical at the start of this month though so probably just that messing everything around frustratingly!!
