October Bus - More treats than tricks please!

I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

BFP due October 4th

Sorry meant to say that peak = presence of both estrogen and luteinizing hormone (they don't occur simultaneously)
high = just rise in estrogen, which is responsible for stimulating the LH surge

14dpo here and bfn, feeling really really disheartened and I’ve got a raging cold :-(

Can anyone help? My OPK's (the last 6 days) have all been the same colour, no lightening or darkening- is this normal?

Blimey....got a bfp today!

Haven't tested yet, starting to get twinges of AF. Heavy boobs and so on too. But for some reason I really don't think I'm pregnant this time. That means we'll be moving on to month five of trying in November

@Aridia I feel the same this month did a test as well. AF due tomorrow but I can tell it's coming. Same felt this month was ours also started day dreaming of telling people at Christmas! Thinking of you x

Finally managed to join the Oct group having had no luck again in September. Not had a chance to catch up in here yet.

Sorry, I feel I should have given more info although a few of you probably remember me from previous months. 10th cycle of trying, for baby number two. AF due on 20th. If AF arrives this month I have to go for blood tests to check ovulation etc. I have a son who is 2 in December, he was 3rd pregnancy and arrived at 32 weeks. Conceived straight away so am very sad / frustrated that it's taking so long this time round!

I am desperately trying to resist the urge to poas this morning. 9dpo and symptom spotting like mad. Even telling myself I have a metallic taste in my mouth. Trying to hold out til Monday. AF due Thursday.

@Merrz and @Sukiella - you're both so right. Thank you :) got to see the positives! I know it's not helpful to dwell on the negatives.

@Owlpatrol I was doing the same thing, thinking what a lovely Christmas present it would be to be able to tell people! AF still hasn't appeared, but I definitely think she's on the way as well. Good luck for next month! Maybe see you on the November bus if AF does appear for us. Fingers crossed she doesn't of course! :)

i hope you are all well. Congratulations to everyone who has BFP's, it's really good see.

I'm now 11DPO and still having symptoms which are completely alien for me both in the run up to AF and during. AF is due on Monday and i'm going to test tomorrow for the first ever time (we're on cycle 1)... nervous and excited. Also worried that if it isn't a BFP then what on earth has been happening to my body since 3DPO!

Anyone else testing tomorrow?

Got another postive today at either 9 or 10dpo :) I think my doctor will tell me off she told me to wait a cycle after mc so they can date the pregnancy..oops! I only tried again because i didn't think it would happen so fast. This will be my third pregnancy this year, I hope i actually end up with a baby this time!

I’m out. AF arrived bang on time 😔give up trying to guess yourself. This month so much was new and different and I still got nothing so just wait and see if your period shows! Good luck all xxxx

I'm sorry to hear that @Peachy :( try to think of it as the start of a new chance. I know how hard it is though. Give yourself some time to adjust hun.

I'm 32, TTC #1.
Cycle 8.
Due next period this Thursday.
We're also kicking off with some baseline fertility investigations privately this month. I know it isn't quite 12 months for us, but both of us were keen on having some baseline tests. Keeping a slightly open mind about this stuff.

I have been having increasing anxiety about things over the past couple of years and TTC is making things worse, however much I try to chill about things! Decided it's time I started to address the anxiety issues... any tips? I find exercise and avoiding caffeine is helpful. I'm going to start yoga again and thinking about therapy.

Anyway! Have a good weekend and fingers crossed for those due AF/BFP this week!

Sorry for the AF arrivals, always a disappointment isn't it. I've had none of those this time round, can't bear to have any more!

I'm ovulating around now, had a cervical smear test today. Was giving the nurse 20 questions about whether the smear would lessen my chances of conception (it doesn't) and had to apologise for the fact we are actively trying and I wasn't missing last nights opportunity- massive cringe!

I obviously meant I've had enough not none seeing as we are on cycle 10
