2ww starts here! Any early September testers want to join me?

Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support?

Hi, I'm joining late. 11dpo TTC #1 cycle#1. AF due 28th but have ordered some first response tests which will arrive Sat and I know I won't be able to resist! I've completely off alcohol and have no PMT so am quietly hopeful...good luck everyone!

I have also got the terrible bloating and gas! I noticed this month I had it pretty bad during ovulation too, then it settled for about 5 days then started back up and been constant since.
I don't tend to trust any symptoms before at least 7dpo though but who knows!

I have though woken up this morning with an absolute stinking cold! Can barely open my eyes so this is nicely timed with our holiday!!

Fizzy13, We're in the same boat! My nearly 2 year old was up and down through the night too. He's got a runny nose. I've had one for a bout a week so maybe he's got it from me! Oops!
I'm trying to decide when to test too...but then I don't dare incase it's negative!!

I swore I wouldn't turn into one of those crazy people when ttc but here I am cycle #1 3dpo and wondering if every little twinge is implantation when its way to early. I was squeezing my ass into my skinny jeans this morning when I suddenly thought "what if wearing these tight jeans is squashing my currently non existent baby, and what if the baby doesn't implant because my jeans are too tight and squashing my womb". Yep, I'm on board the crazy train

On another note I bought afew cheap pregnancy tests from the poundshop Dealz. They say you can test up to 4 days early. Anyone ever use these before? Are they any good?

I forgot about 3am wake ups... maybe I am too old for this after all lol
The beauty of a 9 year age gap... you remember with rose tinted glasses lol
To be fair though my 9 and 11 year old still wake up most nights with nose bleeds...

Me too!!!! I was just going to calmly wait out the tww and test when AF late. Well that didn't happen!

Symptoms are:
Completely gone off which is unheard of for me
Lack of PMT which is fab
A few twinges/stabby pains in left lower abdomen but I have IBS so this could be anything
Increased appetites
General peaceful and calm but unusual feeling
Reduced anxiety

I actually feel great! If it wasn't for the going of alcohol I could put these symptoms down to anything. Maybe just psychosomatic anyway.

Will test tomorrow 12dpo...

I'm grumpy this morning - 7yo had a meltdown last night after getting back out of bed that lasted over an hour.
And I've been tracking my resting heart rate on fitbit which this morning clearly indicates not pregnant (according to the theory).
This is our first 'official' month trying and DH seems crazier than me and has bought a self sperm testing kit!!

Whats the fitbit theory?

I have sore boobs, the veins are continuing to bloom and I look like a roadmap. I do sometimes get veiny boobs before AF though so trying not to get my hopes up.

I'm tired, but that's not unusual (my job is crazy busy, and more so in the summer holiday period).

I also feel generally 'bleugh' and after eating I feel kind of acid-y and sick, with food repeating on me if you know what I mean! Sorry, TMI..

Oh, and I'm HOT. I'm the world's coldest person generally (Raynauds) - but I'm hot. No idea what my actual temperature is, but I feel hot.

Everyone's symptoms sound promising! 😀

What on earth is a sperm testing kit??? I'm intrigued...

Sorry, got weird mental images of sperm doing tests (must be the slightly wacky teacher in me). First stop is a general knowledge quiz, then they don the swimming goggles for a time trial... 😂

Thank you* @Poptart4 and @Bubble04*. Amazon have just informed me the first response tests will arrive today. I'm 11dpo. Do you think it is far too early to test and I should hold off? AF due on Monday...I have no experience of this!

Hahahaha first they have to do 20 push ups then swim 10 miles...
It's some test you can do at home that tells sperm concentration. I'm not convinced it's going to be at all useful but I do think it's an indicator of his level of crazy!
The fitbit thing is the theory that your resting heart rate (measured by fitbit) goes up and down in line with your cycle. Essentially if it stays/goes up post ovulation that's a good sign but mine is now dropping the same as it did last month

It's tricky. I'm no expert, but apparently you're meant to wait and test the day after af is due. Some tests say they can detect up to 8 days early. I think the main thing to remember is if you test early and get a negative it's not a definite no, it might just be too early... I'm terribly impatient, but im trying to resist temptation x

@biscay will be interested to see how u get on if you don't mind sharing. We have looked at those. Only thing that our me off was lots of people saying it have false negatives results. So told people they had a problem then went to get tested at doctors and they didn't!

@bubble I keep telling myself I will wait until AF is due. Only good thing about this tww is that im bit counting down the days I'm frantically clinging on to the last days of my holidays!

Very impressed with his crazy! My DH is so laid back it's untrue. Just says fate will decide haha

@bubblw i teach secondary 11-18. What about you? Bit of an emotional rollercoaster yesterday with GCSE results and a level results the week before. Think I was more nervous than the kids but they did amazingly well. Was so proud of them!
