2ww starts here! Any early September testers want to join me?

Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support?

@Mrsjones17 and @Bubble04 I am out all day but as soon as both myself and DP are in I will do it and update.

I'm also a teacher but secondary. What an amazing way it would be for us to start the year!

@Mrsjones I'm year 2, so 6-7 year olds. Love it, but hate hate hate SATs. Bit nervous about my new class though. When asked what topic they wanted I was told 'killer clowns', 'deadpool' and 'how babies are made' 😬

@Mrsjones17 congrats on your results btw. Ours were good too. Super proud.

Hi everyone, I'm joining you all for the rest of tww. BFP due 2/9. Started testing way early last month so try not to do that again. But lucky I bought a bag a like 50 cheap tests.

DH is more impatient than I am, the day after dtd he asked if I felt any morning sickness yet! He later claimed to have been joking

@bubble...and that right there is why I couldn't be a primary teacher haha!! I think SATS are crap too. The kids are just under way to much pressure all the time! No wonder we have so many problems with mental health! Teachers and kids alike! (Anyway that's a rant for another day!)

@biscay fab congratulations on your results too. It's ridiculous how much of a relief it is haha!

Would love for us all to have a BFP to break the back to school doom and gloom!

@mrsjones yup totally agree. I didn't mention them to the kids in the hope they wouldn't be as stressed. 🙄 Silly people in high places need a stern talking to in a teacher voice...

It would be amazing going back with BFP! Not feeling like it's my month though... time will tell x

I'm an ex secondary physics teacher. Hats off to you guys, after a crap school I decided I'd had enough and I'm now mid training as a medical physicist. Love my job - nobody swears at you!
Means I do have to tell my boss as soon as I know I'm pg though which can be awkward!

Ooh I used to be a research scientist specialising in human physiology! Loved working in a lab. To be fair I'm really lucky with my school. Everyone's lovely, I'm the oldest teacher there (including the head!). Every term we have a wellbeing week where the head makes bacon sarnies, we have yoga classes and bouncy castles. Just a shame about the politics!

Just thinking... high proportion of teachers on this tee... going to be pretty obvious what we've spent our time off doing haha 😂

Holidays is the Only time I don't fall into bed exhausted at 9pm event night haha!!

@buble your school certainly seems different. I'm ok where I am. Have settled in been there 7 years so seen the kids through from y7 to y13 which is nice. I've proved myself and so feel ok. Only downside is I have an hour commute each way. Bit of a killer!! I'm dropping down to four days as from September so hoping that will ease the pressure a bit!!

Omg I just realised next weekend is fathers day (in Aus where I am) and that's when I'm supposed to test. It's a bit silly but wouldn't it be fun to give DP the news on fathers day that he's going to be a father. Argh I hope this is the month even more now.

Ha! This is weird! I'm a teacher too, but in an international school here in China, so I've already been back for two weeks :( actually I really love it. Just trying not to rush to the loo at break and lunch to check the state of my boobs

@Bubble04 I love your funny comments! It's not arrived yet but I'll certainly be back to share the news when he's done it. I can't share that kind of hilarity anywhere else! He's got to go in a cup, let it cool down for 15 minutes, swish it about with some other stuff and then start picking it up with a pipette! I'm going to be crying/gagging!!

This is the only place I can talk like this too... I made some harmless comments about pelvic floor exercises at work and I've not been allowed to forget it... clearly they don't appreciate childbirth related humour lol

@Bubble04 not everyone has a good sense of humour! You have made me just start doing pelvic floor exercises whilst I'm reading though!
I've just realised he got a little box in the post today. Maybe that's it? So want to open it now but he's not back home until about 6pm...

@Bubble04 I've just inspected the box, it's got a return address from a health company. That's definitely it! I wonder if he will do it tonight!

I caved and did a test. Someone tell me off!!! 😂 no surprise it was a BFN because it's still too early to test. I just couldn't help myself!
So I'm going to sit on my hands (try) and not do another until at least next Friday!

@Alexsmum he has to! He's it all our hopes up now!!! Haha

@Emilyjayne don't worry, temptation gets the better of us all sometimes 😉 Just remember not to let it get u down. Still plenty time to get that BFP X

He came home and did it! It was positive, so hopefully he won't worry so much now!
