Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support? Smile

@bubble I'm properly losing it. I nearly ordered some FRERs from Amazon the other day as I've got just one internet cheapie at home, but I held off. Trying not to order any until next week as I can't test until next weekend anyway. bites nails

Fizzy13 · 24/08/2017 10:24

Eeeek
Though af was arriving yesterday morning (cd23) but disappeared again and nothing this morning. Maybe implantation?
Not sure DH is mentally prepared for this so soon (cycle 1) he may be in for a shock!
Trying not to be too excited as we've been here before ds was conceived.

Fia256 · 24/08/2017 10:25

Definitely loosing it over here too!

6dpo today and woke up with achey crampy feeling around the bottom of my stomach and around the ovary area. Now convincing myself this is a good thing even though I know it won't be! I tend to implant from 9dpo onwards with past pregnancies. Go away for a week tomorrow so hopefully that'll take my mind off it all!

AlexsMum89 · 24/08/2017 10:40

@Fia256 that will definitely help. We've just come back from a huge 2 week holiday to Disney world, and now I only have boring work to distract me which literally doesn't distract me at all because I'm an accountant. Yawn...

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 24/08/2017 10:47

Six days until test day for me. Tww going quite quickly so far. I've had a bit of lower pelvic pain so I'm hoping this is implantation but I've had this before and then BFN so I won't hold my breath.

Bubble04 · 24/08/2017 11:35

@AlexsMum89 I've ordered 20 cheap ones on Amazon which will be waiting for me when I get back on Saturday. What was I thinking!

@Fia256 holiday will be fab to distract you if it's a busy one... I made the mistake of doing a 'relaxing' holiday with nothing to do other than beaches and fishing. Literally nothing to take my mind off it... 😬 I've resorted to experimental cooking... how many different meal can you really make with mackerel?!?!!

AlexsMum89 · 24/08/2017 15:44

@Bubble04 Nooooo you can't have bought them!!! That was a bad move!

Bubble04 · 24/08/2017 15:54

I know... Amazon prime is the devil lol

Fizzy13 · 24/08/2017 17:59

You can't start testing, the rest of us will crack!

AlexsMum89 · 24/08/2017 18:04

@bubble04 we are counting on you. If you test early you're letting the side down. You need to help keep us strong!!

Bubble04 · 24/08/2017 18:07

I won't I promise! I'm resisting the temptation... I am. Yes. I am.

On that topic though, it's been a while since I've done the ttc thing, and not really sure how soon you can reliably test. If AF is due 5th sept do I have to wait till 5th sept? I know I should know...🙄

AlexsMum89 · 24/08/2017 19:26

Well @bubble04 technically you're meant to wait until the day after you're due AF. I don't think many people do though. Some tests say they can give a result something silly like 8 days early but the reliability is low. I think up to 2 days before AF is fine.
I'm going to try and hold out until the day AF is due. Might save wasting a few tests haha

Bubble04 · 24/08/2017 19:33

Thanks @AlexsMum89. Will try my best to wait till then. Same day as I go back to work 😬

rachelandthenoodle · 24/08/2017 19:47

Me too, please.

Ttc # 2 (but first with my hubby; DS is 8).
Cycle...dunno - mmc in March/D&C in April. very long recovery, annoyingly...so cycles have been all over the place. This might be cycle 2...possibly.

Anyway, ovulated cd14, last Thursday, so dpo 6/7 today. I'm away for a hen do this weekend and hubby made me swear I wouldn't test all weekend and that I'd wait to poas with him on Tuesday. 😩😩😩

(Obvs I don't mean poas with him 😂. Just with him around! Haha.

natb88 · 24/08/2017 20:20

I'm joining!

We were Finally ready to try after a sad and hard TFMR last October.

But then my period just disappeared! Haven't had one since the 23rd June!

Did about 5 pregnancy tests 3/4 weeks ago but all BFN.

Then last week I had really obvious ovulation symptoms, so tried last week, before a very positive ovulation test last Saturday the 19th Aug.

Fingers crossed it was my cycle back up and running again at least, but maybe baby dust?! Who knows? We conceived both DS and the TFMR the first month of trying so stranger things have happened!

Going to wait another 7 days if I can before POAS. Good luck everyone!

PabloEscobarlo · 24/08/2017 20:41

I'm wondering if I've messed up my timings.
Lmp was 8/8. Opks are saying I haven't ovulated yet but on the 17th I'm sure I had ovulation pain.
Now I have a dull ache and back pain so I have no idea where I am or when I can test. I'm guessing af is due by ovia on 4/9 so I'll have to just be patient!!!

AlexsMum89 · 24/08/2017 20:58

@Bubble04 same day as you go back to work after mat leave or something else? Good luck! I've just had a really strong desire to go and poas, I need help haha

Hi @Rachel sorry to hear about your mmc Flowers
Haha might make him feel more included if you poas together!

Bubble04 · 24/08/2017 21:28

@AlexsMum89 I'm a teacher, so back to work after my summer hols 😔. I'm feeling the temptation too. Had a weird 'travel sick' feeling all day. It's amazing how everything becomes a 'symptom' in the 2ww! It's probably just some badly cooked mackerel lol x

Bubble04 · 24/08/2017 21:33

@Rachel sorry to hear about the mmc. Couldn't help giggling at the thought of POAS with hubby. Mine would seriously not cope with that. Anything even slightly yuck and he passes out or vomits (including childbirth) x

Xjo1992x · 24/08/2017 21:42

I'll join you! AF due on 8 sept, ovulating atm!
Fingers crossed for us all!

AlexsMum89 · 24/08/2017 21:52

@Bubble04 honestly I am 99% sure I MUST be pregnant this month. My boobs are huge and more sore than they've ever been, have had dull achey and the occasional sharp pain in my lower abdomen for days, nearly threw up a minute ago. If I'm wrong this time someone is going to suffer!!!

Sictransitgloria · 24/08/2017 22:15

Had horrible pains in lower abdo, bloating, gas, bit nauseous...unusual. Feeling better today but still bloated. Hoping this is good news and not a monster period preparing to cause me hell next week.

Mrsjones17 · 24/08/2017 22:22

@bubble in due to test the day I go back to school too! Hopefully we can combat the back to school blues with a BFP!

Bubble04 · 24/08/2017 23:01

@Mrsjones let's hope so! That would be a great start to the year!

@AlexsMum sounds promising! Got fingers crossed for you. Im not convinced about me. Boobs aren't even slightly swollen, and they were v sore with DC2. Having said that I had no symptoms with DC1, so who knows! X

PollyCazaletWannabe · 25/08/2017 00:08

Sore and swollen boobs here too at around 6dpo. Still haven't bought any tests but the weekend will make it too tempting I fear! I've also had a lot of bloating and terrible wind Blush
