2ww starts here! Any early September testers want to join me?

Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support?

@pointeshoesandtutus my information is wrong. I just Google it and implantation takes place 6-12 days after ovulation so it probably is too early for pregnancy symptoms..

Oh wow.. So anything from cd9 stands a chance? Sorry to ask but do the sperm survive inside for that long?!

They can do but the closer to ovulation the better.

They do last quite a while... interestingly female sperm are more 'hardy'. Females live longer, while male sperm are more 'sprint to the finish' types. They're quick but don't hang around ling. Or so I've been told... x

First time actually using ovulation tests....but have been TTC for 3 years, had an ectopic pregnancy a few months ago so not expecting good news this month as I just don't feel it will happen that quickly for me!

I look forward to seeing if you ladies get your BFPs

@Polly - my boobs 100% are sore and swollen that's not imagined - but I do think my lower abdomen is sore. I think I might be kidding myself there, although I did have one sharper pain a couple of nights ago that made me double over for a second. Full blown crazy? I think so!!
I've got horrible jetlag so that's causing all kinds of things as well

@maedoula got caught straight away last time but ended like that. Didn't really plan on trying this month just happened as we always said September of course if it happens we will be over the moon if not then it will. I have an 8 year old from a previous and my partner doesn't have any so would be lovely if it worked for us again 😁

@Stee1 Well as it's spontaneous it may just go in your favour! The build up pressure to 'getting it right' seems to go against us...You're due to test on 2nd and I'm due to test on first, let's see if we can get hold of these BFPs x

We BD 2 days before positive and a day later so not hopeful lol. Hopefully we Do! X

Anyone finding this 2WW unbearable already?! I'm 5dpo, and all I can think about is when I can test and everything pregnancy and baby related! Worst of it is I'm certain we are out this month anyway but I just can't seem to switch off!!

Me! 🙋🏼 it drives me mad. And if I'm not pregnant this month then AF just likes to let me think I am! Feel real rubbish, still got dull cramps (3 days now) boobs still feel weird and now fit in a bra that was a bit big, feeling sicky on and off and now I've got a headache starting. AND I'm not due for another week or so depending on 3 different apps! I hate the disappointment that I've been getting for the last 7 months too 😞

@Stee1 This is just getting weirder! Our pattern of getting busy is almost identical to yours, but ours was 3 days before and 1 day after....Freaky or what lol.

How long ago was ectopic if you don't mind me asking...Mine was 8 months ago, I'm terrified of ever having to go through that again.

@Fia256 Totally get your pain, I've had to stop myself from 'just checking' and I'm only about. 4/5 DPO, how ridiculous is that!

I'm only 1dpo it took almost a year last time, I am already feeling the pressure.

I think I might get baby bombed by a family member who I don't see eye to eye with in a few weeks has anyone got any tips for dealing with that?! I am happy for them of course, I just know I will be envious (sorry I'm not a horrible person! Honestly x)

Hi All, can I join please? This is our first month TTC DC3. AF due around 2nd Sept but been quite irregular recently for some reason. I think we only DTD once during my fertile window, but haven't been actively tracking my cycle. Good luck everyone!

@fia256 yes - unbearable! I've got so long to go!! What am I supposed to do with my brain? It's not fun at all.

@freezingwinter I've just been baby bombed by my ex husbands new wife, I'm mostly handling it with hate and loathing. I recommend that approach haha

2ww here too, ovulated on Monday (cd14) but because of my stupid 2 week late period last month I'm not sure when to test or am due on. my average cycle has jumped from 33 days to 39 days. Do I test 2 weeks from Monday, on my normal cycle day or the new extended one?

We're just not trying not to get pregnant (cycle 1) so I was hoping I'd be a bit calmer this time. But no, symptom spotting mania!

Same here Fizzy, thought I'd be more relaxed about it as we too are not really "actively" trying yet, but I've been obsessing about the possibility that I could be pg. Keep thinking I feel sick but it would be way too early for that anyway.

I'm really struggling today I just know were out. I ovulated on cd14 and only managed to do the deed on cd10 (which I think is too early) and cd15 day after where I think we missed the egg!

Just totally gutted we didn't get to give it a good shot this month. We also have to have a break for a couple months after this cycle for several reasons so just bit gutted about that too!

This sucks!!! Going to try and hold off testing until 11dpo fingers crossed for us all! There's got to be some BFPs coming through!

Hi Ladies- I'm in.

First time TTC after MC in July. Ovia says I'm in my fertile period today and got a smiley flashing face on my clear blue ov test this morning so jumped on DH. I think he was a bit as I've currently got a stinking cold so it was like that scene in Friends with Monica and Chandler ......AF due 8th/9th September eeeeeek baby dust please. 💕

Haha brilliant. The men must think it's Christmas with all this making babies malarkey! Sending lots of baby dust your way, and hope you feel better soon x

All this waiting is driving me crazy already. Daft considering we weren't actively 'trying' this month, but I'm still getting a little bit obsessive. It's probably a good thing I'm on holiday in the middle of nowhere. If I was anywhere near a shop I'd have spent a fortune on tests already... 😬

bubble me and Dp were the same. We were told it would be difficult for us so we are giving it a go. I had my coil out and went on the pill and he thinks we've waited enough. We get married in Next year though!!
