so this month will be lost. along with all dignity as i beg the hospital to lance it.

Oh god. Just signed onto FF on my computer rather than my phone app for the first time and it says I actually have 23 cycles on there... So all this time I was thinking we'd only been trying for 20. Jeez, 23 cycles? That sounds so...harsh. Why is life so shit sometimes?!

I’m just about to start FW, DP away til thurs or Friday. Helpfully. And I have the baby shower of doom on Sunday. I so badly don’t want to go but just don’t think I can get away with it. Have asked a colleague to include me in her gift so I don’t have to go fucking baby gift shopping as I would probably have a brain haemorrhage in boots. Pathetic but I can’t help it.

limplettuce if it wasn't so ridiculous id cry but i actually work in boots in the baby department!! surrounded by fucking pregnant woman ALL DAY. That was fun after the miscarriage.......not. The worst bit is when you hear them complaining about their size and how awful it is being pregnant. I have to walk away.

Oh @dudemeister76, that sounds terrible. :( I thought I had it bad working in Reception in a primary school, surrounded by young mums popping out kids and having to teach their kids when I want one of my own so much it hurts. Keep walking away. You have to protect yourself in these situations.

@LimpLettice, I totally empathise with you, it's hard. Well done for making the decision to go though, that shows how strong you are, although I know that's small consolation. Big hugs.

Possibly tmi alert...even though DH is deployed now I still want to track ovulation to see what it's doing each month. Been using dual opks. I stayed away last night and tonight and stupidly forgot the bloody tested and didn't want to buy another one. Lots of ewcm the most for a long time. Do you reckon the surge was today and I will have missed it not testing?! Or carry on testing?

Yeah part of me wonders whether its been a blessing in the sense I've had to just deal with it and get on with life. i posted on another thread about not being emotional anymore about losing my baby. I still can't work out if its me being emotionally dead or if its like you say and I'm in some sort of protective bubble that i unconsciously created. Ive never really been a cryer though I'm one of those people who just doesn't feel much lol or i think i don't. Im talking bollocks a bit but hopefully it makes some sort of sense.

Hey ladies, I've been on a little first anniversary trip with my DP so have been MIA since Sunday. Just catching up with a few pages that I've missed whilst I nurse my hangover. Ooh are we doing supplements as well? I'm usually on either seven seas trying for a baby multivitamin or sometimes I shake it up with some folic acid and zinc and vitamin C instead.
