been trying ever since. and no. every month the same. this month as well as AF ive another surprise - a cyst. where no one ever ever wants one.
so this month will be lost. along with all dignity as i beg the hospital to lance it.

Also took a frer at 12dpo and it's blazingly neg. Promised myself I wouldn't test early this month but I have a stinking cold and wanted to take something stronger than paracetamol so thought I'd best check

@Summer1986 sorry about the BFN and the cold.

@LimpLettice definitely enjoy the weekend - is it your birthday? The old philosophy is "drink til it's pink" isn't it? I think in the very early days, the embryo isn't even taking from your blood so it can't affect it. I'm not advocating that we all go out and get bladdered but actually on occasion, in the first few days post ovulation I don't think it matters.

I was on conception boards, then after ober 2 years and IVF i was on the inferility boards and now for the last 5 month on the pregnancy ones.

If youve been trying for nearly a year or over, Please please do not just keep waiting and hoping something will happen. Go to the doctors, tell them you've been trying for a year then they'll do basic tests.
Get the ball rolling.

It is, Jane, thank you. A bit of a watershed it feels like. Erk. My feeling is no alcohol can get over til there is a connect blood supply but I don't want to prevent implantation which I have been told can happen, I will be 4dpo. I have started a couple of supplements this month and they seem to have bought ovulation forward by 3/4 days, and I have had vastly more cm then usual so I am hoping they might help something stick. Was frisky as hell in the run up too :)

Baby bombed again this morning by a former employee - He is very lovely and I was touched to be told before everyone else (only just got their BFP) but the inevitable we only tried once and look how fertile we are touched a blinking nerve.

I feel you there limplettuce my little sister is currently 20 weeks pregnant. She told me earlier this year she had got pregnant by accident but had a termination. Then I was the first person she told about this accidental pregnancy and I was honoured to have been told before anyone else in my family but knowing she’s got pregnant twice by accident in the space of time I’ve been ttc and not got even a hint of a bfp does touch a nerve a little bit

Hi Lilypad. I saw your post upthread - sympathies. It does rankle, no matter how hard I try, and I am not keen on this bitter, jealous version of myself. It is good to have somewhere anonymous to let it out and let it pass a bit I think. I am very lucky indeed with amazing DD, which does help. Funny thing is I can be the most positive person, I just need to give my head a wobble.

Accidental pregnancy announcements really are the worst. My BF conceived her DS by accident. DH has a friend with a DS conceived by one night stand. It really grates on me.

Expecting AF tomorrow or sat. Thinking of everyone who has had AF/BFN and been baby bombed this week xx

I am royally annoyed this morning - my AF is misbehaving very badly at the moment. It is so heavy to the point I feel like I am going to faint - I worry I am never going to get my BFP! 😢 It was the same in Aug - have had a weird continuous light sept & now it's awful again! 😢

Ok keep me sane...starting to feel like a hopeful twat and just know I'm going to be disappointed. CD 29 today and no spotting for the first time in 7 months at this point. Cycles usually 30/31 days. AF is due Monday. I am determined to not test until at least CD32 or more. Stating to feel a little hopeful but I just know AF will turn up in full force on Monday!!!!

I love this thread too @stillvicarinatutu . So fed up and everyone constantly pregnant. On cycle 11 or 12 now (lost count) and finding it hard to garner enthusiasm. Had a set of tests privately, all normal; going for acupuncture on monday -which DH doesn't know as he'd (rationally) think it was a waste of money-. In a way every month without BFP is good as career racing on but I am getting very frustrated with it now!

I knew it!!! Bloody cursed myself. Brown spotting started tonight. Very small amount but that is usually how AF starts for me. For fucks sake...I'm so fed up. I know all that bollocks 'you're not out until AF shows' but I think I just know, I mean I should know how that feels I have enough bloody practice....11 months worth of oh not pregnant again then!

Mrsjones - think we are cycle buddies as af due for me monday too on a cycle of 30 days usually.

finding it hard at work - worked different hours to normal this week and a colleague on another shift is pg. shes lovely and its all very lovely but im so envious.

i went to the loo and read the ARC (antenatal results and choices) forum. i dont post much on it - just the ttc thread but i needed to feel less alone ( had a termination for medical reasons last summer at around 15 weeks) i really thought id be pg again by now. im starting to realise it was probably a fluke at 44. i had hope because of that but its fading now. i do still track using opk but im thinking of just giving it all up now and leaving it to fate.

Remember when I said I wasn't testing until CD32....yeah well that went out the window when ovia said test today!! Stark BFN on FRER with FMU. Marvellous. Got shitty cramps as well that has kept me awake in the night
