Fettleandminifettle - How are you hon? Good I hope. Time is really flying isn?t it. I don?t think I will be joining you this cycle, but fingers crossed for next cycle. It would be nice to be pregnant for at least a week together

NappyValley - I can?t take credit for discombobulated ? it?s Seaside?s word ? but I am a magpie for cool things ? so I nicked it.
First sailing and now opera ? you really are CultureVulture aren?t you ? I have never been to the Opera ? did you enjoy it?
My brother lives in the same part of the world as you ? I love that part of the country!
Sorry if I sounded narky about it being a private thing, I honestly didn?t mean to make you blush ? oops! I understand that some people are more open, I just don?t like the constant questions. PMSL at your outburst at work
Folic acid is good for skin renewal, so I always say that if a baby wasn?t made, then the vitamin helped improve my complexion

MrsMcJnr - You forgot to temp!!! Whatever next!? Sorry to hear that DH refused you ? not good form MrMcJnr ? tut! Do you feel relieved at getting a + OPK though? Try not to worry about your dad?s trip ? you are just heaping more stress back on yourself. Big hug. Did you remember to temp this morning? I best go and have a chart spot to find out. Hope all is well

Jess1996 - Lovely to see you, although obviously hoped that you had got your BFP while you were away. My room is pretty cold too, and I always warm up my thermometer, and take a couple of readings to be sure. So that is not the reason for my occasional below 36. temps ? but we have established that they are not a concern unless they are consistent. Good to see you being so positive, but don?t be so hard on yourself when you do feel low ? allow yourself that when you need it. But you are right, you are only 28 (me too, me too!!) and your charts are a comfort and show ovulation so plenty to feel positive about! Fingers crossed for you!

Rah - If you are still lurking ? have a wonderful time away. And you know where we are if you need to vent!!

Seaside - Big hug.

Lottie - In case you are lurking too ? hope you are having a great time still. We are all missing you lots ? can?t you tell, this thread has gone quite sombre in your absence

Everyone else - hope you are all well. Sorry I was such a cry-baby the other day! I just needed to get it off my chest.

NappyValley · 26/04/2007 11:06

DH just texted to ask if I was OK about AF. how lovely except that now I am losing it and want to cry and I am not even wearing contacts to blame it on.

Get a grip girl it is only a bit of blood after all!!

ready I know I am a very open person, as I have discovered that I cannot lie to a direct question! I have to use avoidance!! Really bad character flaw if you ask me. Hopefully I will learn to lie more convincingly as I believe it is an essential matherly skill, particularlly for questions like "where do babies come from" and "is Father Christmas real"

duchesse · 26/04/2007 11:16

I've lost me thermometer. I am looking, I promise. Think I may have ovulated early, around CD10, this month, but can't confirm until I find the darn thing. Ho hum.

Ready · 26/04/2007 11:55

Hope you find your therm soon Duchesse - although do you feel more relaxed without temping?

NappyValley - What do you mean? Babies are delivered by storks aren't they? And of course Father Christmas is real!

Everything looked perfect for ovulation yesterday, but no temp rise today .

Hopefully there will be one tomorrow, but going to be too late in my cycle I think.

Doctor wants us in again on Monday to talk about DH's 2nd sperm test - doesn't bode well.

Sorry, I'm not as sad and grumpy as all that sounds. I think it's resignation now - can we add that to the list of new emoticons we need .

rattling · 26/04/2007 12:47

And hello Lottie if you're still there .

greedygreedyguzzler · 26/04/2007 13:45

nappyvalley - you make me laugh!!!

RahRah1 · 26/04/2007 15:47

Just thought I would say HELLO!!!!

I took my temp this morning, 36.1, so guess I could not stay away for too long..LOL

But it is good as don't even know my CD at the moment, so nice break from everything.

Speak soon and hope everyone is well!

Ready · 26/04/2007 16:02

RAH HELLO!!!!!!! You seem chipper!! Lovely to see!!! You don't know what CD you are on! Enjoy

Lottie - Apologies for not giving your credit for discombobulated - you credit grabber, you - Lovely to "see" you!

rattling - fingers crossed with your gp appointment!

NappyValley · 26/04/2007 16:25

Rah hello petal hope you are doing well and chilling.

Duchese hope you haven't put the therm through the wash in a pillow case.

Ready - you keep believing babies are brought by storks. With any luck in less than a years time you will know the truth!!!

Have been a grumpy PMT short tempered girl all day. Great thing about working with married men - they are all used to it!! Can't wait to go home though.

seaside72 · 26/04/2007 17:41

Hi all (seaside creeps in from her hiding place under the MN stairs!!) I am kind of back- have been lurking a bit so trying to keep up with everyone. Lovely to see some fresh new temps buds and also some graduates visiting and did I spy a little post from lottie?? I am stil feeling weird (can I still share discombobulated with you lottie ) this month - dont know why, sort of resigned but calmer - it may not last - it may be down to my flower remedies - who knows

I did not temp until CD7 and have been a bit irregular but have done it last 3 mornings, I am not sure that I will be as militant the rest of this month but I know I will want to track ov After three months of temping I am sure that I am oving and just got results from blood test of last month for progesterone and it was 68 which is all good. DH has another sperm test in May and we have our first appointment with fertility consultant in 2 weeks (quake!!) But I am relieved about this and so hope we dont just get "unexplained infertility" as a result

Will try and catch up with everyone but it may take a few posts!!
Ready Thank you so much for all your thoughtful messages. I so hope this is your month - it all looks so good for you. Keep your chin up and hang in there Princess Positivity ( will catch up more later and will email you also )

Rah Hope you are doing a bit better. Well done for being do laid back - I thought I was doing well but can never seem to forget which CD I am on - wish I could!

rattling Hope the temp rise comes tomorrow. Know what you mean about feelings of resignation. Did I see on a post that you have a horse? I am very I have not owned a horse for about 15 years (after spending my formative years in a stable yard!) and I so miss it. I am working up the courage to plunge back into it very soon - in fact have already told DH if no BFP by the summer I am buying a horse again!

Minxi nice to "see" you back but wish you were only visting as a graduate IYKWIM - Come on clomid - work your magic!

Mum03 hope you are doing OK?

goingfor3 welcome to temp buds - are you going to join our list?

Iwillbe boo hiss for AF coming Don't tell me about BF's and TTC - arghh - as if the pressure is not enough. I would never wish TTC (or FTC) on anyone and she may get a wake up call when it doesn't happen so easily (mind you she will prob be one of those who will never know, get pg first go (lke my BF) and just thinks it is all as easy as pie )

......and breathe

seaside72 · 26/04/2007 18:08

Part 2 !!

MrsMcJnr Thinking of you and hope you are feeling a bit better and recovering from your cold/cough (try honey with propolis and lemon it really helps me) How horrid that your workmates are being mean - what's their problem - let me at 'em (seaside makes her mean face) how dare they upset you and be so insensitive. One day I hope they will realise it was entirely inappropriate and the world does not revolve around work.

feedmenow Welcome hut buddy Did you get your thermometer yet? Hope you are doing OK

NappyValley So sorry AF arrived and that LP is not playing ball - ahe you tried any of the things that are supposed to help - B6 and Evening Primrose Oil - I think there are others and am sur someone else will have more tips and info than me. I think I saw that you asked if I lived near the seaside? (sorry if it was not you - as I have only been lurking I haven't scrutinised all posts!! ) But if you did - the answer is yes!! I live in Cornwall - really far down near the end (!!) and can see the sea from my windows - we are very very lucky to be able to walk to the beach anytime in about 10mins - Its the best

CityAngel Hope you are having a fab holiday in the US of A - shop shop shop - the dollar is so good right now!

duchesse Any sign of your thermometer yet?? Hope yu are feeling OK (a very british {hug} with no eye contact and a bit of shuffling!1)

jess1996 I am so sorry you were feeling low but well done for looking for the positives - I try to do the same - but it is hard sometimes. BTW Warming the thermometer is a must - it really makes a difference

beansprout Huge congratulations on your BFP - no more TTC for you - yippee!!

honeyapple, greedy and fettle - We give you beansprout as our April offering oh wise fertile ones - please bestow some more good luck on us humble temp buds -
Hope you are all blooming and that your bumps are growing nicely

lottie hope you are doing OK and Spain is still good - we miss you!!

~OK - did I forget anyone?? I am so sorry if I did. It was quiet on here last week when I lurked but the last few days have gone all chatty again

Ready · 26/04/2007 18:24

seaside72 · 26/04/2007 18:26

LOL Ready!

Yeah - where's that stork - lets ask greedy?!

Ready · 26/04/2007 18:56

Well apparently Seaside, babies don't arrive by Stork! NappyValley* says that is a fib!

Could we have been doing it wrong this entire time?

Iwillbe ? sorry about AF hon, you ok? Sending hugs.

Thanks Nappy Things got so much worse and I slept in another room and cried for hours. Resolved things now and tried a ?catch the egg? trick at lunchtime as we both happened to be home. Not sure how much good that?ll be as got ?ive OPK at 12 but it was worth a try. Don?t think even a BJ would have coaxed him ? humiliating really! We have talked about the loss, a lot. At first, he was as devastated as me but then told me he was ?over it? and didn?t see it as a baby we lost, just cells. Have to say, that hurt like hell, I certainly do not feel the same way and we had that out today too. He said he isn?t trying to discredit her existence, just look towards the next one. I also got my diagnosis of thrombophilia today ? it really has been an exhausting 24 hours! Sorry it?s CD1 for you, let?s hope this is a much healthier cycle but sending you hugs for the disappointment.

Hi Jess ? good to hear from you again I hope you are feeling much better than when we last spoke Sorry to hear AF arrived I know how you feel, I did not OV until CD33 last cycle and had given up trying by then! I like your list of positives not that I can borrow any of them You are not pathetic; you have been through a hell of a lot and have been extremely brave!! Stick with us

Hola Minxi

Fettleandmini ? sorry I missed your post last night will pop over and pay you and the gang a visit shortly! Hope all is well.

Ready ? what a wealth of knowledge you are ? I didn?t know that about folic acid, thanks for that!

Hope you find it Duchesse

LOTTIE!!!! I for one have been really missing you! How is it going? Tell us lots?

Rattling ? sometimes the temps take a few days to creep up; the whole thing is a waiting game isn?t it? Hope it goes better than expected on Monday.

Hello RahRah Hello Greedy!

Seaside ? lovely to see you. I hope you are ok Thanks for all your kind words. I have been working from home today and it?s been tough due to blood tests this morning, row with DH and then results from blood clotting tests this pm but still, my assistant has been checking up on me!

fettleandminifettle · 26/04/2007 20:57

Hey girls - babies have to arrive by stork!! That seems a much easier option!

MrsMc - I'm sorry to hear you feeling down again. I know DH and I had very differing ideas about life post-mc. the first time he was devasted, while it hadn't really sunk in for me. Whereas with the second one, I was totally devastated, but he didn't seem too bothered. That was the worse thing, but we talked about it and I think he understood. Even now I still have little cries for the 2 that never were. In a strange way, I'm glad that you've got your diagnosis of thrombophilia, as at least now you have an idea as to why you might have mc and it is avoidable with treatment (I think, you'll obviously know more than me about it).

take care of yourself. xxxx

Lottie, so pleased to hear from you too - hope all is going well in Sunny Spain - how are the dishy sailors?

Hello everyone else - xxxx

NappyValley · 26/04/2007 21:41

MrsMc sorry it was a rough night but glad you were able to talk and make up in the end. Friend who have experienced M/C would say that they always will feel they had X number of babies, even if they only have Y number of children. I am not saying they grieve forever, but it is a part of who they are. Obviously it is different for each father and how they feel about it and how it affected you. Big Hugs and thanks for your support. Maybe that eggy stuck around long enough for a good fertilization!! Hope so.

Fettle/Ready EVERYONE knows babies are brought by the Pregnancy Panda and not a stork.

Sense of humour has been restored.

Where is a good place to go for tips on health and fertility and how to get good swimmers too? Not really doing anything other than trying to get the timing right at the mo.

Sorry to hear about your thrombophilia and your argument MrsMc, I hope you have a better day today.

Hope everyone else is ok. Not many people posting temps at the moment. Has everyone lost their thermometer?
