ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 07/04/2007 13:30

Ok... Pretty peeved. Typed a MAMMOTH (even by my rambling standards!) post, and then there was a POWER CUT! And lost the lot. So I am going to endeavour to start again... but in chunks this time... I have learnt my lesson!!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 07/04/2007 13:32

Honeyapple - Bronchitis!! Poor you. Can you even take anything for it? I assume not? What a pain. Hope you are feeling better real soon.

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 07/04/2007 13:35

Eggs4Easter - Don't worry chick, you didn't upset me, I just didn't like the thought that I came across as a tantrummer
I got confused when I read "oh ready im so pleased you managed the deed!" - then I realied you meant Rah and her deed - I was thinking, what deed?? Chuckle.
Sorry to hear about your disturbed night and DPs antics Poor you. Hope you are ok? Hug.

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 07/04/2007 13:35

Gracie - Where are you flower?? Dying to know what's going on with you and your cycle. Fingers crossed.

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 07/04/2007 13:37

Rah - Loving the high temps - keep 'em up That is a serious temp hike, whenever I've seen one!!
How are you feeling??
Are you with me on the pact I mentioned??

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 07/04/2007 13:43

Seaside - You could have had that hormonal rhinitis, I am sure I've seen it mentioned on the boards lately. Ovulation related stuffy nose??
I most certainly am getting ready for the fun part of the cycle - Not that the 2ww is not fun I mean who doesn't love the yo-yo emotions and mental exhaustion??
at FF moving your ov date - I think I should get a gold star for pre-empting that!!
I watched Reprod, reprod and how cool was the house! - and of course double at the pregnant belly!
In the paper this morning it said our weather was better than parts of Spain and Italy at the mo - and I thought of Lottie - I miss her too. But I hope she is having a wonderful time, away from the stresses of ttc
I think your email to your friend is fine - I am sure she will understand - I know I would. Hang in there flower

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 07/04/2007 13:44

yum - Any news? Your chart looks fab - and a test is certainly in order tomorrow!! Are you keeping a low profile or just enjoying the sunshine? I am about to get out in my garden and continue my painting in the sunsine! Fingers crossed for you

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 07/04/2007 13:46

MrsMc - How are you feeling?? Fingers crossed for you!!!

EasterRampantRAHbit · 07/04/2007 17:40

Howdy peeps...

Ready - I have been taking my temps a bit later than normal, thats why I think they are higher, also in addition a few drinks each night! Hehe
How you lost your post, that is so bloody annoying! Totally with you on the pact we made !!!!

Eggs4Easter - hope the boozy night was fun and hang over has worn off... I look forward to hearing about your husbands punishments when the time is right!

seaside - I would not worry about BD now as you are definitely post ovulation. Glad your sniffly nose has suddenly stopped! Hope the sunbathing went well and you got a little tan...

Gracie - Hope you are OK.... XX

Mum03 - Hope tomorrow comes and goes swiftly without AF appearing, we really need a BFP on this thread... positive vibes and all that.

MrsMc - Hope your trip went well and you treated your husband to some BD for his lonely nights,,

EasterRampantRAHbit · 07/04/2007 17:47

I just went to IKEA and brought new furniture for Bertie's room, new bedding, bedside lamp, new lamp shade, new mirror etc etc... Hope it will look really nice

I said to my mum it will be sods law that I buy all of this and I will be pregnant again in the next two months and have to turn it back into a nursery..LOL (I wish)

We are going to the stock cars tonight...I stupidly said to my husband after last week that I thought the stock cars would be better than the speedway (Bikes), so he did not think of taking me back there and now he is taking me to see the stock cars to see if I like that better

He went to the razorlight concert last night so I thought he would forget about going out tonight, but no he is all ready to got!

  • I will not be having a baby in 2007! I have decided that I will not be temping this month, having got pg the last two times without it, perhaps it is better for me. I know my body well enough to know when I am in horny time (ov time!) so, I intend just to enjoy time with dh when we feel like it rather than focussing on ttc. I think that I am becoming too obsessed by the whole temping thing. I concieved on cycle 4 the last two times, this is the longest it has taken now, so perhaps my age is starting to show. Besides this month would NOT be a good month to get pg as my SIL is getting married when the due date would arrive.... so no point in getting serious this month.

OK so I hand the batton for the bfp onto gracie now - only a couple of days til we hear from you....

EasterRampantRAHbit · 07/04/2007 19:15

Sorry to hear AF has come MUM03... ... totally understand your decision not to temp, it does become all too consuming. Are you still going to be logging on to MN?

yum03creameggs · 07/04/2007 19:27

Hi rampant - will be on MN still and popping my head in here if that is ok with you all, but you can remove my name from the temping list as I will not be temping this month. May be back to temping again if I don't convieve this month, but will decide on a day when I am thinking clearer. Hope you all understand.

EasterRampantRAHbit · 07/04/2007 21:10

YIPPPPEEEE... did not go to the stock cars as the people we were going with pulled out (wonder why?)

MUM03...Totally understand...You will get pregnant, you have two kids already...so living prove you can conceive... I know it is so hard to have confidence...but it will happen Same for all of us...all of us just need some reassurance when things get low This TTC lark is very hard, consuming and soul destroying sometimes...
We are all here with you and understand totally!!! XX

seaside72 · 07/04/2007 21:10

Yum03 - this sucks where are our BFP's?- surely the temp tread is overdue at least one??
I totally understand your decision not to temp - I am going to take a break in May I think. TTC is all consuming and I just wish I knew how to get past that.
Keep us posted on how you are doing whenever you are "passing by"! We will miss you!

Gracie14 · 08/04/2007 10:20

Hi all,

So sorry mum03 about AF arriving.

Well I tested this morning but BFN, I know I'm not due until tomorrow but you know how it is. I seem to like to torture myself.

I'm pretty sure AF will arrive tomorrow am not hopeful about it at all. This next cycle will be number 8 for me and I will be taking a break from mumsnet for a while. Don't get me wrong your all so lovely and supportive but I can't keep being so obsessed with this otherwise I'm going to go mad.

I'll still be keeping an eye on you all and hope that you all get your BFP's soon. Thank you all for being so kind and helpful.

I'll confirm tomorrow about AF, hope your all having a good easter

EasterRampantRAHbit · 08/04/2007 10:42

Oh Gracie....we will miss you..Like I said to MUM03 it is very consuming and obsessive TTC. I considered last month giving it all a rest and when AF arrives this month it will be likely that I will need to reconsider what I am doing and the pressure I am putting me and DH under.
Really sorry you have not caught this month
I have been trying for about 29 months in total now (obviously had one pregnancy which we lost in this time) but the whole thing has been very traumatic. It is meant to be such a natural and joyous event?? But in reality it does not seem to be like that for all. ...look forward to catching up with you when we cross paths on MN in the future and take care of yourself! XX

MrsMcEasterBunny · 08/04/2007 13:19

Sorry that I have been away so long I have been really busy and only have a couple of mins now so can't catch up. Sorry to see some of you are feeling low

I'm cd39 today but my temp dropped to 36.2 and I have spotting so I think AF might be round the corner, probably a good thing to start afresh next cycle anyway!

Hope you are all ok!

I took Mum and Gracie off the list... hope that's ok??

Yum - Oh honey, of course we understand your need to step back. TTC is very stressful, and sometimes MN can make things worse, others easier - the important thing is to use MN as and when you need it. We hope that you will pop in when you are on MN! We'd miss you lots otherwise
It's weird, I got really at your comment of not having a baby in 2007 - until you posted that, I hadn't thought about it like that, and I felt because I won't be either. I'm really sorry that it didn't happen as quickly for you as it did with your other children. But I hope that relaxing about it might be the key!! Take care of yourself, and your family. xx

Gracie - I am sorry to hear that you are feeling low about cycle 8... and of course we understand why you need to step away for a while. As I said to Yum, ttc is stressful and MN is a help to some, but to others, it can make things worse. We'll miss you, and hope you pop back with some wonderful news really soon! Take care xx

MrsMc - Sorry about the temp dip And the spotting, but like you say, start afresh! Fingers crossed for you

Rah - PMSL at your yippee at not going to Stockcar racing Hope you spent your evening doing something you wanted to do instead How are you feeling?? You still going with the action??

Seaside - I KNOW!! Where are these BFPs!! We really need something to boost our spirits!! I am wondering if we are all going to fall in the same month? Now wouldn't that be wonderful - all graduating together
How are you doing? Are you still telling DH that the crucial time is next week??

Eggs4Easter - Did you get plenty of eggs4easter? How you doing??

Big wave to the pregnant ones that are watching over us - could you see to it that the stork gets a wriggle on - we need some babies here!! Hope all is going well with you...

Lottie - If by some spooky coincidence you are having a peek on here!! Miss you lots, sweets!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 08/04/2007 14:11

Oh and Sea - I had a right giggle when you posted that recipe on that thread - I find MN quite cliquey outside of conception - so it was lovely to see a friendly face!!
Didn't have any double cream so couldn't make your recipe - it looks lush though! I did the one with milk that someone suggested, and it was v tasty

MrsMcEasterBunny · 08/04/2007 18:54

Ready - 36.26 CD7 LP12 (8th cycle)
iwillbe - CD11 LP? (10th cycle)

MrsMc ? 36.2 CD39/11dpo? Anov? LP 10-12 (1st cycle after MC, 9th cycle)

Sending hugs all round, sounds like they are needed x

Happy Easter everyone! It has been a beautiful day here

Ready - I think I have only ever posted a couple of times in areas other than conception!! I just sometimes lurk on the active conversations if we are quiet on TTC!!

Yum03- We'll miss you! I know what you mean about being about no 2007 baby - I feel the same - constantly seem to be living 9 months in the future. Mind you - I always prefer even numbered years

rah- glad you were spared the stock cars! I think speedway last week was a good effort!!

MrsMc - Sorry the temps are dropping - I can only imagine how hard this whole process must be but at least your body seems to be bouncing back quite quickly.

Gracie - Sorry you are feeling low - I know what you mean about knowing AF is on the way but until the fat flo sings there is still hope.

Eggs4 - hope you had a good day

Right girls - I am going to start geting stoppy if we dont get a BFP soon - we are down to a skeletal staff and its all hands to the pump. I say we all go on a BD marathon for May. We will all have LO's in 2008!

Im off to have a glass of pineapple juice !

Lottie - great to hear from you, you have been in all our thoughts wondering how you are getting on. Good to hear that you are enjoying working out there. I truely hope that you find what your heart is saying about your dp. I think it is true what they say about it not being : can you live WITH the person, it is: can you live WITHOUT them... I know that without my dh I would not be the same person I am now, he knocks off the rough edges off me, but loves me still and I do the same for him. I would be totally lost without him. I did not get married to him til I was 33 and I was so glad that I waited to find him. Sorry I digress,I was trying to encourage you to really know in your heart that if you have managed to forgive your dp for the hurt that he caused you last year. If you have, then you will know that he is the one for you, but if you are still hurting and don't know if you have forgiven him, then you will not know if he is for you and that doubt will be seen more clearly now you are away from him. I hope that when you see him tomorrow, that you will be able to talk heart to heart with him and help you to know the way forward with him. Come back soon and tell us more about Spain.

I am feeling more positive about NOT getting pg this month, if I clash with my edd and SIL wedding I will be in big trouble!!! I am enjoying not being tied to a thermometer each morning. But equally (although this is tmi!) I am relieved to finally this month get a proper af, not another one of these namby-pamby light, virtually non-existant ones that I have had for the last two months. The researcher in me is wondering whether my temp. would be back down to more "normal" range as a result, arggg! I will not try testing out the theory, or I will be hooked in for another month LOL!

MrsMc - sorry to see your temp come down .

OK looking at the now incredably short list - it is up to seaside and rah to give bfps now... PLEASE!

Wishing you all the best
