lottie so lovely to hear from you - you have not been far from my thoughts cycle bud. I am really happy to hear that Spain is having the desired effect and that you are enjoying yourself. The me-time is vital. Yum03 is right about knowing if this is the person you cannot live without. If a relationship is meant to be it will weather the storms. I 'left' my DH for 3 months (many years ago now when I was 25) as I felt we were at a crossroads and needed to convince myself what was right. I def knew I could only do this from a distance - so I went to Australia and NZ for 3 months (just about as much distance as I could find!!!). It was a rocky time as I left giving ony 10 days notice. For the first few weeks I thought it was over but gradually he was the one I wanted to call with my phone card and we started writing to each other (email was still in its infancy - mad!!) and sort of rediscovered our friendship. I think that had I not left we would not be together today.

I am not saying it means you will be together but I do think that the it is the right way to go about figuring that out. ( Part of me can see a whirlwind spanish romance and BFP with new beau !!!) But the most important thing is that all things are possible in the space you are in right now. The doors are all open and plenty of windows too! Its breezy

Wishing you love and luck and happiness xxxxx
come back and catch up again soon - we all want to hear about Spain - why dont you start a blog??!!

Wow Lottie... great to hear from you. So glad Spain is everything you thought it would be and you are getting an opportunity to look at things. I think everyone goes through a patch of doubts, especially with what happened. Good luck with your heart to heart! Look forward to hearing from you when your at home XX

yum03 - So glad you have got a decent AF...sometimes all of that can be worrying! It will be sods law now that you are not trying to get pregnant for SIL wedding and you catch.. LOL

MrsMc - sorry to see your temp is down. Although I was bitterly disappointed I did not catch in the first cycle after losing Bertie, it is the best thing. It means they can date the pregnancy better and also your body has had a chance to repair. My consultant & doctor both tried to suggest to wait until at least a clear cycle.

Seaside - Good idea about a blog... I read a book not long ago called a girl with a one track mind... It was a true life blog that she started about always wanting sex...it became so popular that a book was produced... It was very funny and a bit

Ready - Morning, hope you are well... Duchesse sent me a mail, as I emailed her to ask if she was ok (before one of you guys said she was away) She is in France and has very limited access..but is fine and having good time.

EasterRampantRAHbit · 09/04/2007 10:08

I've been skimming through a number of threads to try to catch up - only been away a week! Sorry to see still a lack of BFP's

My last cycle was crazy - seemed to jump from a consistent 9 day luteal phase up to 12. No idea why - I stopped taking all my supplements (except folic acid). On Friday and Saturday I was convinced I was pregnant. Sunday my temp dropped, cramps started and AF arrived within an hour. Very down for a few hours in the morning, but DH persuaded me to go out for a cycle, which knackered me so much I slept all afternoon and was woken up to a fabulous roast dinner.

Tried to phone the doctor to get test results today - but of course a holiday (though I get the day off next Monday instead - weird).

Sorry I'm not quite up on what everyone else is up to, just going on about me - did I spot Lottie popping in though? Should really get started on some of the work that has piled up before coming back to catch up properly.

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:18

Lottie - ¡Encantador para oír de ti! ¡Nosotros todos falta tú porciones!
Sounds like you are having a blast! I am glad that the space from DP is helping you - and I echo the others that the feeling of not being able to be without someone is the key. Ultimately you need to do what is right for you, and you alone. Think long term. Try not to be swayed by the strong desire to have a baby. I am not saying you are, but just in case.
All the best with the heart to heart. I hope that the direction you need to go becomes clear. Big hug, or should I say Abrazo grande
Take good care of yourself, and do pop in and see us when you can. Oh and wax lyrical about Spain all you like - we all really want to hear about it!!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:22

Seaside - I'm with you, I lurk on the other threads when TTC is quiet - it's a real eye opener at times. It's quite fierce - I do post a bit on other things, but nothing gritty - too fwightened
Been meaning to ask, and probably should do it on the Chart Spotters thread, but - I saw you got another "H" on your monitor - what's that all about??? How you feeling?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:25

Rah - So did you start later temping part way through the cycle?? Because it is a really impressive spike. I know I said it before, but it's remaining steady up there isn't. Fingers crossed!
Did you talk to your DH about him coming home blotto??

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:27

Rattling - Good to have you back! How was your week away? Sorry that you haven't come back with a BFP though. Drat. But good news about your 12 day LP huh!! Maybe not taking the supplements has allowed your body to find its own rhythm!? Fingers crossed for your results - will you get them tomorrow now?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:30

Yum - Good to hear that you have had a proper bleed - it's never TMI!! Well obviously I really hope that you catch despite the edd clashing - if baby wants to come first - they will Enjoy your break

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:31

Eggs4Easter - Good to hear you are keeping busy. Not so good news about not being able to temp at the right times. Try not to worry! Just go for it when you can.
How are things with you and DP? Good I hope

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:34

MrsMc - Don't know if you are going to get the chance to visit MN with your grandparents staying - although I think you are still working aren't you?? Anyway, if all the preamble is redundant - I hope you are having a lovely time with them. And I hope the coffee cake is good

Did you manage to get a cancellation for seeing your GP or are you just going to wait now?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 14:36

Ok... I look like an idiot talking to themselves - it's just when I lost the big post, I was so - I'm being cautious - But I am a bit of a loon too

Hope everyone is having a great day! The weather seems to have gone to pot today. Raining here

seaside72 · 09/04/2007 17:31

Ready PMSL- it does look a bit like you have imaginery friends!!
Re the CB monitor - always get a High the day after the Peaks- I honestly think that is just what it is programmed to do rather than reliant on my hormones. I think it just works on the principal that you can still be fertile the day after OV.
Re the other threads - I know there is some scary stuff out there I lurk sometimes but I am way too scared to post unless there is a familiar name on the thread!!
Thanks for the info of hormonal rhinitis - v interesting! I still have a stuffed up nose at night I am sure it is probably just a cold.

rattling nice to have you back - we are getting a bit thin on the ground around here!!

MrsMc hope you are having a lovely time with your grandparents!

Iwill - I have been rubbish about the time of temp taking this month - some mornings I have been up really early and others a bit late - I think it was lottie who always said it is more about the general pattern than the individual temps!

rah Intersting blog/book! I have not seen that one!

Hate to say it girls but it has been another gorgeous day here! - not as hot as the weekend but still warm and sunny!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 18:47

Seaside - It did look like I had imaginary friends didn't it!! Oh the shame

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 18:49

Sea Sounds like you just have a cold - as my mum would say, due to the change in weather
It's a bit weird that the monitor is just programmed to do certain things.
How are things with you?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 09/04/2007 18:50

More imaginary friend posts here - for shame...

Seaside - You shouldn't not post on other threads - I'm intrigued now as to where you would be posting

seaside72 · 09/04/2007 19:01

I just posted on a thread about a holiday cottage in Cornwall - get me being all brave!!

Things are OK with me - I am through the week of optimism and now entering the week of pessimism I think. Last week I was ridiculously hopeful - imagining all sorts of good signs, now I am being realistic and thinking why should this month be any different to the past 12. Ho hum! At this stage I just wish I could skip onto AF TBH - the last week of the 2ww is def the worst

Apart from that all is good - the sun makes all the diff!!- and have just booked tix for 2 concerts in the summer - Rufus Wainwright and George Michael! It always makes me feel better to have things to look forward to

How about you Ready - are you going to use the OPKS this month or just go for it?

Ready · 09/04/2007 19:49

Sea [grin at you being brave
Yep, going to use the OPKs, more out of curiousity to see if they will work this time. But going to try to do every other day and 3 days once I get a positive... fingers crossed.
Oooh Rufus Wainwright (I like his sisters music too, Martha!) and A bit of George - nice!! DH and I are going to see Rich Hall the comedian this Saturday - really looking forward to it! But when I booked the tickets, I was thinking to myself, oh I hope I am not suffering with Morning Sickness at that point - Totally jinxed myself didn't I!
Tut at you for being so pessimistic - it's not healthy you know!! I know what you mean though, the 2ww is the hardest part!! Just try to relax - you were well timed this month - speaking of which, how is your DH?

seaside72 · 09/04/2007 20:28

Thanks Ready. DH is good - although I think he has guessed that OV has been and gone! Although my fake laid back attitude did at least get us three well-timed sesh's so it an improvement on last month and will work up to more next month I hope!
Part of me really wants to carry on through the month but I think both of us just kind of give up.
I was looking back through my planner of 2006 the other day and was kind at how much bd we manged in the first 4 months of TTC (I had forgotten how much we did it! ) but it didn't make any difference

I think it is kind of an unconscious state of mind - I mean what other action/thing would you continue to do month after month even though it has never given you the outcome it is supposed to?? I think we both are a bit down about the fact that we don't seem to work IYKWIM?
