LOL - I always said there is nothing like good contraception than looking after someone else's kids!

EasterRampantRAHbit · 02/04/2007 11:10

Hi MrsMc, I would go on the trip as even if you were pregnant it would be highly unlikely you would bleed this early. If you have clotting issue they would not give you anything until you proved positive anyway. Could you suggest to the doctor that you started taking 75mg of aspirin just in case until the results came back just to help with implantation. My consultant said that taking aspirin was the best course of action for me whilst waiting for my test results to be completed.

MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 12:29

MrsMc 36.4 CD33 4dpo? Anov? LP 10-12 (1st cycle after MC, 9th cycle)

Fingers and toes crossed for Ready, Mum03/Yum03 and Gracie

EasterRah ? sorry to hear that things are a bit haywire with you I like your positive sounds for next month though. Thanks for your advice and knowledge, that was really helpful. I think I will go away on business after all. When I got my BFP, I starting spotting at 3dpo until 11dpo, this cycle (if I have OVd and there is a possibility I can get pg) I have had no spotting at all. If I get to 12/4 without AF, I?ll test and see. If it?s a BFP I?ll put in a call to my Dr and ask about the aspirin. I can get the results over the phone before 17/4 ? just negative or positive for clotting issues so that will put me on guard anyway. I suspect they?ll have to be done again though as think the tests have to be done quite soon after the blood was taken to be worthwhile? Scoring brownie points with my boss would be a good plan right now.

Eggs4Easter ? that?s the stuff!

OvenReady ? think Aggie and Anthea have competition! There is no way my oven would get clean with anything but chemicals, sorry I think you need the level of B6 in the pregnacare, it?ll only by when you take it in higher doses that it?ll effect your LP I imagine.

Hello Seaside thanks for your advice can?t help with the CB monitor I?m afraid but I did wonder the same thing about a temp rise without OV, I seem to remember from my Toni book that it is possible as you still get a bit of progesterone that hikes it up, is that true ladies?

Hello Honeyapple did you see that LissieLou got another BFP! so pleased for her! Thanks for your advice, you are right, I should go. Hope you feel much better soon

Hello Fettle and Greedy

Chocolatedays · 02/04/2007 12:40

Hello all - READYwiththehotbuns - thinking positive vibes to you - aren't you even an eeny weeny bit tempted to pee on a stick?? If not you are one hell of a strong minded woman - very impressive!

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 02/04/2007 13:05

Afternoon ladies!! Isn't the weather magnificent??

MrsMc - Sorry I crossed posts with you before! I would say go on the trip and try and get a cancellation. If the appt on Thursday is not going to bear fruit, then it will just be a waste of your time, and leave you frustrated. Perhaps it's possible to arrange for the GP to call you with the results when they arrive instead of waiting til the 17th? How are you feeling other than that??

Honeyapple - Thanks chick! I am surprisingly upbeat, I guess it is cos I just knew I wasn't pregnant this month. I can't see any way in which the 2 temp dips, very very very strong cramps, headache and 3 spots could be a sign of anything but my period. The only thing I am missing now is blood!

Cedar - Thanks So, are you joining us in this temping malarkey?

RAHbit - Oi!! Less of that, you might not still be here with me next month!! Don't let me spoil the PMA on this thread!! That said, I do love the idea that May/June will be lucky for you!! Can I tag on too?? Fingers crossed Don't give up hope for this month though!! Keep at it

Seaside - I know what you mean, it is frustrating reading about "accidents" and I have to confess to feelings when I see teenage girls, all covered in bling (am I showing my age?!) pushing their babies around town, too busy texting on their mobile phones, to notice their babies, that they didn't even want in the first place! [grin. DH keeps telling me off for saying "it isn't fair" - so I really need to stop that!
I don't know what I would do without you girls on here!! It's wonderful to have you all to share everything with - totally relaxed in the knowledge that you understand!!
About the temp rise... I think that you shouldn't see a rise if no OV takes place. But then one of the reasons against Temping according to Attilla is that women experience a shift anyway!! So who knows! But don't worry about not getting a peak on CD12, I know as well as anybody that it is perfectly natural to ovulate later for seemingly no reason!! Remember my CD19 ovulation Crikey, I have waffled... but do hang in there!!

Haven't heard from minxi for a while!! Hope all is well???

Howdee everyone else!!

scorpio1 · 02/04/2007 13:08

(butts in to say good luck to ready )

Chocolatedays · 02/04/2007 13:17

OvenREADYforanything... are you deliberately avoiding my post!!

yum03creameggs · 02/04/2007 13:28

Ready - you really don't have to wait for my af to arrive, we can be cycle buddies this month even if we are a couple of days apart. Go on, I give you full permission to start the red-flow now!!!! Sorry, seriously though, I think that your temp dip says it, you will probrably start soon. I think I might be soon afterwards too (PMT is getting the better of my PMA!). I will not say because you seem to have come to terms with it already, and obviously it is you get to have another shag-a-thon with your dh, and next month I know it will be your turn for bfp, I just feel it.

Rampant - just make sure that you get some good shags in with your dh before he goes away - remember that you still have a chance even if you don't ov til the weekend. Hope that despite you not feeling confident - that this will still be your month.

Seaside - rats about the CB monitor not co-operating for you. Aparrently the only sure way of knowing if you have ov'd or not is the blood tests. OPK's, temp-rises,EWCM all of that is no guarrentee that we are ov'ing each month!

OK PMT hitting me again, better move away from the computer and try to find my PMA again....

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 02/04/2007 13:33

chocolatedays - So sorry hon, it took me so long to post mine, that I missed yours! But in all honesty, I haven't been tempted to test. I swear.

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 02/04/2007 13:38
      • THIS JUST IN: CD1 !! * * *

Now, honestly, is it rational to cheer at the sight of blood? No, probably not. But that, is exactly what I did!!

Yum - Of course you were right, and I knew that I wasn't pregnant (1% of my brain wanted to believe I might be!) and the temp dips were reliable. I am ok with it... onwards and upwards
Don't let go of your PMA!! I don't want any of you still here next month

Chocolatedays · 02/04/2007 13:41

Sorry it is not better news honey.
odd about longer LP. Maybe it is a sign your body is starting to gear up for the big one. Fingers crossed

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 02/04/2007 13:44

just updated my length ttc its 10 cycles not 11! i have just logged all of my cycles on a spread sheet for the doctors - i rang them up and the answer machine said closed for lunch until 2 - it is now 10 past 2 and ive chickened out making the appointment

sorry ready that its cd1 for you again ((hugs)) im not going to dwell on it because i know your positive attitude will not be beaten, it will happen!!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 14:51

Oh Ready - sorry hon but hey, I know we were meant to be pg together, maybe this cycle?! I remember Attila saying that about the hike in spite of progsterone but I wonder what causes it.

Eggs4easter - big breath and make that appointment. My advice is that you'll get further without making it about TTC and making the appointment more about specifically checking you out because you think something might not be right after surgery. They cannot ignore that.

fettleandminifettle · 02/04/2007 15:02

So sorry, Ready!

Try and keep positive ? I know it?s not much conciliation, but it took me 2 years to conceive DD and 2 years to get this far with this pg (took me 9 months to conceive prior to 1st mc last year).

Take care!

Hello everyone else ? eggs4easter ? make that appointment!!

EasterRampantRAHbit · 02/04/2007 15:59

Hi guys

Ready:
Sorry to hear about AF Ready... Off course you can tag on 2... I have a little helper that will grant our wishes in May/June

Eggs4Easter:
MAKE THE APPOINTMENT!!! Bets to go than not...promise it is the best thing!

yum03:
Thanks for the encouragement, hope PMT calms down soon (Rah hides from 03..as her dagger eye's piece straight through the trembling body of Rah!)

MrsMc:
The tests should be repeated anyway and I am sure my consultant said that he had to leave 5 weeks after pregnancy, as pregnancy can alter the results?? I would score some brownie points aswell

fettleandminifettle, Honey & Greedy:
Nice to hear from you all, hope you are all keeping well... Sorry to hear you feel like pants Honey.

Chocolatedays & scorpio1:
Nice to meet Ready's stalkers!LOL

seaside72:
Do you normally use CB monitor? I got a positive OPK last month, but not getting anything this month. Ferning is coming up positive and now getting some CM... so think I might ovulate.. so how comes the OPK are not working again?? So bloody confusing? Do you think the CB monitor is better?

MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 16:16

Thanks EasterRah even more useful info from you! Glad to hear you are getting ferns!!

EasterRampantRAHbit · 02/04/2007 16:21

LOL

Gracie14 · 02/04/2007 17:14

Hi all,

Ready - Sorry about AF , am really hoping for you for April to be your BFP your always so lovely and positive. I know what you mean about being on your 8th cycle that will be me this time next week and I can't believe that its taking so long either.

Mum03 - Crossing fingers for you. When is your AF due?

Everybody else - Hope you are all bding like crazy it would be good to have some BFP's on here soon.

greedyforbabies · 02/04/2007 17:33

oh ready ready ready! i hope we didn't all make it harder for you.
the month before my bfp i had a really long lp and everyone (mainly just lola actually, sorry...i mean mrs!) was convinced i was pg. so was i, by the way! but then after my super long lp i got my bfp the next month.............................

yum03creameggs · 02/04/2007 17:36

AF due wednesday for me, trying to keep positive, and keep getting all the traditional phantom pg signals, but will just have to be patient and wait.

yum03creameggs · 02/04/2007 19:40

whoops - good job dh is not here with me, I have just beaten up the filing cabinet and broken it.... PMT is not a good thing, I am trying to debate whether a glass of wine would help or just make things worse???

EasterRampantRAHbit · 02/04/2007 20:06

Pour yourself a nice glass of wine... I just have and it all seems a bit better.... that is until I consume the bottle and then have to get up the next morning!

yum03creameggs · 02/04/2007 21:02

Thanks rampant - have done just that, well one glass not the whole bottle. Just wish dh had bought a decent bottle rather than just cheap plonk, is it not tasting that nice, but the effect should be the same!

EasterRampantRAHbit · 02/04/2007 21:54

My hubbie does not like wine, so I get away with buy nice stuff...

I normally go and buy 3 nice French bottles a week... ..He would have a fit if he knew how much they cost...hehe
