Jumping on the crazy train for the first time... ALL ABOARD FOR THE 2WW!

Firstly I must apologise to all you mumsnetters... I've been a lurker for a while and have never understood the craziness surrounding the 2WW until today! Have literally just ovulated yesterday on our first round of TTC and I've already been symptom spotting/furiously checking and rechecking my calendar and Ovia app like a pro!

Logically I know that there is literally no chance of any symptoms yet and DEFINITELY no need to POAS for the next 10 days at least, but there's another (much louder it seems) part of me that keeps thinking that the reason I'm so bloated/gassy (seriously what is up with that?!) or keep dropping my keys/knocking everything over or these cramps are obviously due to the fact I must be pregnant 🤦🏻‍♀️.

So to stop me going completely around the bend, I thought I'd ask if anyone is due to POAS around the 21st of July? If so, do you want to wait with me? All those who have done this before, feel free to leave me tips on how not to think about this 24/7!

@HolyShmoly you don't know till you know! But yes, very rude of AF.
If I'm not preg i'm poorly: nausea, sore boobs, itchy nipples, bloated, headache and burping all. The. Time. And normally not a burper at all!

Feeling crampy, sick, tired again after going through this last week. Got DH to pick up tests on way home from work. Still nada - no AF and BFN. AF 5 days late :/

@Hellsbells35 have you tested first thing in AM?

Holy - oh fingers crossed for you!! Sorry but you made me laugh yes it is very rude of AF but lets hope she has a very good reason for being a no show

Hellsbells - what brand of test are you using? If nothing over weekend id suggest going to see your doctor just for peace of mind & to see whats going on but heres hoping your get a BFP

Boo you have ALL the symptoms 😂 You poor thing! I'm also burping after literally everything I eat almost immediately it's so gross!

Sometimes stress can delay AF HellsBells have you been stressed out... silly question right?! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you, I want more BFP's on this thread!

Boo, hopefully it's more exciting than a cold! Although, I don't think I've ever had an illness that made my boobs sore.
Hellsbells, I'd agree with going to the docs if it goes on much longer. I'm fed up being one day late, I can't imagine how you must be feeling.

I can totally sympathise with you all thats late last month was hell being 5 days late but try not to stress out about it to much and yes i know thats a stupid suggestion!! 😂

I'm not stressed actually. It's annoying but I don't feel stressed physically - just tired. Upbeat most of the time accept evenings when I feel sick and zonked. I've used clear blue test, and just some cheap plastic ones from Tesco.

Thats good!!! Hopefully you get a BFP and your body is just taking its time to show it

Well day 1 of cycle 2 for me. I've ordered opk and conceive plus and I'll pick up some evening primrose oil from Superdrug or Wilkos. I'll be on my holidays for at least some of the 2ww next month so that should make the time pass quicker too.

Awww holy sorry to hear that!! I hope next month will be your month and you never know being away on holiday may relax you & do the trick

Oh no HolyShmoly glad you're keeping positive! I imagine a holiday will keep you nice and relaxed, maybe that should be a rule for everyone in their 2WW 😆

Daily update: BFN, no AF...boobs seem bigger. Feel sick and tired. Have felt like this for a whole week now.

Off to a beer festival Saturday. So I hope I know either way before then.
