Just checking in....af turned up so I'm onto cycle 6. Will read back on thread when I have time. Nice to see lots of familiar names....well, not nice that we're all still here obviously....! But good that I'm not alone in this crazy game..... xx

Nubian9454 · 22/07/2017 19:00

Sorry to hear Lopez. You are not alone. All the best with this cyclear. We are all praying for our Bfps this cycle. You are definitely not alone x

Hello everyone! Am now officially in the tww and trying not to lose the plot. Took DS to stay with my parents this weekend and I think my mum has her suspicions when I didn't drink all weekend! Am I being ridiculous by not drinking and avoiding caffeine for the next 10 days? Just want to give this the best possible chance ...

boowaitingforbaby · 23/07/2017 15:28

@tiramisualwaystiramisu I'm in the 2WW and avoiding alcohol and limiting coffee to one a day so I would say it's ridiculous!

boowaitingforbaby · 23/07/2017 15:28

@tiramisualwaystiramisu I meant wouldn't say* it was ridiculous

Nubian9454 · 23/07/2017 16:50

I'm in the tww and try to continue to live life as normal....glass of wine now and again. It's a personal.choice though.

Karpuzkiz · 24/07/2017 17:07

Still no positive opk but lots of egg white discharge! Think I'd feel better if at least I got the positive on opk for now! How's everyone else doing? X

Nubian9454 · 24/07/2017 18:02

I felt like that exactly Karpuzkiz when I didn't get my positive opk for ages! But when I saw egg white i deed the deed anyway. I think I got my positive opk maybe a day after the egg white cm so you should be getting your positive soon. Try to test more then once a day to catch your LH surge. I did at least 3 times a day. Good luck x

cautiousoptimist1 · 24/07/2017 22:39

I'm not in tww yet but I agree with Nubian and I carry on as normal with alcohol. I don't drink a lot anyway but will have a glass or two of wine - drink til it's pink! i have already limited caffeine intake though.

MotherofBoy · 25/07/2017 05:55

karpuskiz I am in the same boat! EVERY month without fail I have had first positive opk on CD13 or CD14. CD14 and no positive!! I have egg white discharge and high soft open cervix so hoping will happen soon. I'm so frustrated! Half wish I hadn't even done an opk 😂 It's annoying as trying not to 'peak' too early as dh gets pretty worn out so hope we can keep it up for next few days... how are you do you have a positive today?

Nubian9454 · 25/07/2017 07:59

TTW driving me CRAZY ladies!! I am half way through the tww and I'm starting to feel Impatient. EVERY SINGLE CYCLE I go through this. Period of calm and then wham I go crazy and Impatient. Last night I had a vivid dream of implantation bleeding followed by strong cramping woke up with cramping in my left and back aching! It's cruel that pregnancy and af symproms are alike just cruel I tell ya!! Arrrg just having a rant ladies sorryConfusedHmmSad

KashyKash · 25/07/2017 08:48

Hang in there Nubian, the second week is so tough. Just don't do what I do and have the due date worked out and the start of maternity leave planned in my head!! I just can't help myself, every month 🙄 Good luck, when are you testing? x

tiramisualwaystiramisu · 25/07/2017 09:32

I'm only part way through the first week and I'm already going nuts nubian - rant away, that's what this board is here for!

kashy I've been calculating due dates for the last few cycles - I'm on a fixed term contract and would love them to coincide. There's a chance I could be made permanent, but can't bank on it, so this or next cycle would be perfect

Nubian9454 · 25/07/2017 11:56

Thanks ladies. I have my due date worked out every month of ttc lol. Was telling my friend yesterday about maternity leave and Due dates lol. Seriously I can't help it.

ladydolly · 25/07/2017 15:29

Urgh, so potentially this month is all over the place because I ovulated a week earlier than normal on day 11 instead of day 16-18. I'm now 6 dpo and getting cramps and backache like AF is coming. Or I'm just symptom spotting and feeling negative about the symptoms I am spotting!

Impatientmummy36 · 25/07/2017 16:39

Well I'm in day 1 of the tww and already feeling anxious so I understand!

Dtd every days up to and including OV so I can't believe we could do anymore. Will be seriously disappointed if that didn't work.

Question for fellow obsessives:

CB test went peak some point Sunday pm. So the 48 hours OV should have occurred in runs out this afternoon. After OV the egg lives up to 12 hours? So technically if ov happened towards end of that 48 period, it could still be there to be fertilised so dtd tonight could be worthwhile?!

We are way too knackered, should we throw the towel in?! I woke with cramps and pains in early hours Sunday night so I do think OV may have happened then....can't be sure though

X

inpatient egg lives for 24hrs so get cracking! Haha.

Finally got my positive opk this afternoon woohoo! Ov will be tomorrow evening probs. Hoping to dtd today and tomorrow. Day after ov not ideal as mil and bil here... plus 5 days in a row might be a bit much! Crossing all fingers for this month...

Impatientmummy36 · 25/07/2017 17:20

Oh no (cries!) don't think can do it tonight mother, that'd be 6 in a row, pretty sure OH will run away screaming. Or limp away slowly... think we started too soon again, but OV was day 16 which is a couple of days late for me...
Good luck x

MotherofBoy · 25/07/2017 18:13

I feel the same impatient, ov will be cd15 for me which is 1-2 days later than usual! Already peaked too soon argh! Crossing fingers for lots of dtd haha

Nubian9454 · 25/07/2017 18:22

Impatient I think you good lol...you have done more then enough. One of those swimmers greeted the egg so yay!!

Mother I knew you would get you positive opk happy bd

Hope we all get our Bfps this cycle. Af NOT due Tuesday for me!

Baby Dus y'all xx

Karpuzkiz · 25/07/2017 20:27

Those posts made me laugh! I'm a fellow we peaked too soon too! Finally a positive opk last night and today. I get terrible ovulation symptoms, sometimes worse than period pain and I've been in agony and felt so sick all day. Anybody else get bad ovulation pains? Hoping an early night will help and I'll wake up feeling better - I'm that bad I can't even attempt dtd tonight!

Also I'm a fellow crazy too working out due dates and mat leave - least we're all the same!

MynameisJune · 25/07/2017 20:52

Impatient I saw the GP today and she advised every other day because doing it every day can mean that there aren't actually a lot of swimmers in the ejaculation. So every other day gives them chance to replenish!

KashyKash · 25/07/2017 20:57

Well that makes me feel a lot better that I'm not the only crazy, thanks ladies! I'm with you on the ovulation symptoms karpuzkiz, I usually feel like absolute crap, much worse than before af. I get cramps for a few days that get quite painful on day of ovulation along with nausea and awful fatigue. None of which is helpful when trying to get as much bd done as possible! Hope you feel better after an early night.

Good luck everybody, hoping for lots of bfps this month x

Nubian9454 · 25/07/2017 21:25

On day of ovulation my body goes crazy! I feel painful cramping usually on my left side, feel bloated and headacy..so know how you ladies feel. At least we in with a chance even though we might feel rotten on the day x

MotherofBoy · 25/07/2017 21:39

I get awful headaches when I ov it's such a pain! Literally!
