Get me a straitjacket...I can't stop testing my pee because I've lost my mind.

In a nutshell;
-Been with hubby now 10years, married for 2
-Decided to start trying for a baby
-Never been on the pill, all hail the wonders of condoms
-I ovulated on the 4th June and baby danced on both 4th and 5th
-Im taking STUPID tests every single day (cheapo amazon and SD)
-all were negative but of course I'm testing TOO EARLY
-and breathe...

I need some direction ladies. Why am I feeling so intensely crazy? I can't even wait another 5 days till period is due. Okay so I feel some weird symptoms, like a period pain type of niggling pain every night, a silly tonne of flatulence and hysteria. I just can't stop testing.

I even had a very vivid and incredibly real dream this morning that 2 lines appeared. So I tested but still a BFN.

How can I stop myself from testing every day? Has anyone else been a mad woman and done this?

@snowwhite123 maybe its just the light of the picture.. but I am struggling to see a line. :/ sorry.. i know thats not what you want to hear.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I only see control line. But this strip is different from the ones i use. Sorry! I'd try another couple of tests maybe.

Almost looks like the dye has run into the coloured part of the strip...hmm.

I think I need to join you I seriously cannot stop testing somebody needs to smack in the face ASAP had a hint of a shadow of a fart of a line that barely shows up in photos yesterday and today even with heavy editing of colour on my phone and I am sitting here reading this aching to go test again! I didn't use opk so am guessing am only CD24 but could be anything between 10 and only 6 days PO as guesswork arrgggh I hate what an idiot I am when trying to conceive!!

I drink while bottles of prosecco all the time but I am a lush whoopsie

I suggest STOP TESTING (I'm a huge fat hypocrite right now)...and if you cant stop, then use the shit cheap strips that cost a quid (or like 5 quid for 20 or something). But stop testing if u can. Although I feel ya pain. I've only stopped because I have only expensive digital one in the house and one FRER (1st one in that pack came out as BFN yday and at 16dpo I now know that FRER would have picked it up by now if I was pregnant) as no cheapies and gave it the hubby because I finally admitted I'm testing urine like a trainee nurse and I need to stop. So today no test! Yay for withholding for 24hrs lol

Its a vicious cycle. My head was so fucked up all last week but now I'm over due on AF I just can't be arsed. Being trolled by my uterus. Yay.

If you can't control the urge...try to control till morning then use your first wee. If it's a bfp then Yay! If it's a BFN....see you back here in the morning lol

I know I know you are totally right I hate myself for being such a dick! I have 2 FRER and 2 digitals in a drawer hidden from the husband this always happens me when I am trying I just turn into a obsessive testing psycho! Right you have my word I won't test again until tomorrow and if that is still BFN which am pretty sure it will be as I can barely see anything on the photo of the test above then I won't test again til Friday (as drinking Friday night) see now I have promised a stranger I have to I don't break promises! Phew feel better already so glad I found this thread thank you!!x

Haha @Cookie1831 try to hold out if you can lol. In all fairness it's only been 24 hours for me but my change in attitude indicates I'm defo gonna get AF....I always stop giving a shit about everything when I'm due on!

Tell hubby about the pregnancy tests you have stashed away. Once he knows....you'll feel too bad about doing it behind his back loll

I need to join you all! I'm squinting and squinting and I swear to god I'm imagining lines now!! FFS. I'm due AF tomorrow, been cramping since Sunday and had BFN every day since Sunday too!! Apart from the ones I have willed a second line on..... but they are actually just whiter than a Daz advert.

I'm sure this first one is just my imagination. And the second is an evap I think. Defo blue but too thin.

No more tests now- I'll test on Thursday morning!! I am NOT a testing tomorrow. I'm not. Really. Truly. Maybe. Probably.

Can I just say, I'm not currently ttc but I would be the same if I was.

I took 27 pregnancy tests, AFTER my first bfp and even an early scan to confirm it.

@Llanali last one looks like a line but I'm not sure if even I'm imagining it now lol. Maybe test on first pee in the a.m?

Sorry @Llanali but often when you take some brands of test apart there is a thin coloured line even on a bfn - what type of test was this?

BUns- don't encourage me! I'm not testing til Thursday ;) I swear it!

The Grumpy- great name btw- I know, they had line/shadows/faint lines/ my imagination before I took them apart but I couldn't photograph them and make it show with the little plastic screen on the outer of the test :) ones a Tesco own brand and one is a sainsbury own brand.

Ahh sorry - Sainsbury's tests do have a thin blue line regardless, I speak from experience! Hope you get a definite answer soon!

Im getting seriously pissed off now.

3 days late, no AF and just did FRER with FMU and...BFN

Id rather just have my period now than be messed about by my body like this. So hacked off.
